Great place.
Description is accurate. It’s and older home with a recent and very nice remodel. Very close to Benedictine college and a nice view of the river. Hosts were easy and quick to respond. Will definitely book again.

Sister Time
We had a historic adventure through our mothers past. We learned a lot about the rich history of Atchison and some of the infamous hauntings! What a wonderful weekend to explore this charming town nestled between St. Joseph and Weston Missouri. Our accommodations were amazing. The view of the Missouri river was breathtaking. The home is so comfortable and inviting and beautifully decorated. The landscaping is gorgeous.

College friends weekend get together
We LOVED this house! There is a notebook on the table with before and after pictures of the renovation. It is absolutely beautiful! The house is located in a prime location! We sat on the front porch every evening and watched the bright orange full moon rise over the horizon. Many cars drove by to take pictures of the moon. We realized we had the best view in town! Its close to downtown shops and the riverwalk. Bedrooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. LeeAnn was quick to respond to my messages. I was trying to plan our weekend in Weston but couldnt find a house. Im so glad we stayed here instead. There is a lot of history in Atchison. I highly recommend a weekend trip to visit but you MUST stay at this house.

Perfect spot for a BC Visit!
This was a BC family weekend getaway and the stay couldn’t have been better. The house is beautiful and the location can’t be beat. The house is gorgeous and the hosts are so kind and responsive. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Home
This was a gorgeous historic home in a beautiful neighborhood. Amazing view of the Missouri River. Inside the home is wonderfully renovated. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

A delightful home an area!

Great and Relaxing!
We had a wonderful experience here and was able to have plenty room to spread out. We came for a graduation and was happy to have a stress free time! Would stay here again. Clean, beds comfortable, and front porch had nice view of river.

Beautiful home overlooking the Missouri River
We love it when we get a chance to stay at this beautiful home in Atchison! This was our second stay, and we hope to return soon. The home is spacious, clean and stocked with everything you need. And what an amazing view!

Fantastic house with incredible views!
We stayed in this house for a college homecoming reunion and it was perfect. The location was close to campus as well as walkable to grocery stores and restaurants. It was extremely clean and exactly as described. We will hope to have the privilege to rent it again it for future trips back to Atchison.

Restored historic property
Comfortable restored home with hilltop view of the Missouri River and valley, in a well-established and stable neighborhood adjacent to the Amelia Earhart birthplace and museum. Water heater needed attention, but otherwise was enjoyable two-night stay.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with the wather heater. We have replaced the water heater.

Very nice property
We enjoyed the views and the property. The owners were very helpful when a water main broke and we didn't have water one morning. Very responsive! Lovely place.

Wonderful stay for Benedictine week
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Atchison, and much of it was due to staying in such an amazing property. To begin with, I don’t think you can find a better location in Atchison. The view of the river and beautiful porch from which to enjoy it are amazing. It was a simple walk down to the river each evening which we really enjoyed. The home itself was very comfortable for our family. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed cooking quite a few meals at home. We hope to return for future visits to Atchison. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Experience!!
Our stay in this home was fabulous! Everything that you expect and more! It was a beautiful home, very comfortable and more than we could have asked for! Our daughter was getting married and we had our other daughter and her family stay there in the upstairs. The bride and bridesmaids got ready on the 1st floor and it was fabulous! We took pictures at the house after the wedding! A beautiful background!

Beautiful Home, Beautiful View!
Our group included 6 adults and 5 kids. The room situation was perfect for our needs, and we were all very comfortable (especially with 4 bathrooms in the house -- a MUST with larger groups!). The property was absolutely beautiful, and the view overlooking the Missouri River valley was breathtaking. We sat on the front porch one night and watched an incredible storm roll in! The updated home has all the amenities you need in a vacation home and is ideally located with only a 5-10 minute drive to everything in Atchison! We were very comfortable and look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful home away from home.
This was our family home for 40 years. . We loved all the renovations, it was beautiful. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were all top notch. First experience where kitchen was so well equipped! Fabulous place to stay

We highly recommend this house!
We were in town on business and had to opportunity to stay here instead of a hotel. So glad we did! The kitchen is nicely stocked, living areas are very comfortable and that view! Looking forward to staying when it’s a little warmer. The bedrooms were comfortable and the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful Home on a Bluff
Gorgeous renovated home within walking distance of a museum, restaurants, pubs and the local grocery store. Located near a paved walking path along the river. Don’t miss the sunrise…breathtaking! Our hostess made sure all details were taken care of. Made wonderful memories here. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home great view
This was the perfect home for my husband and I to stay for his 45th high school reunion. The open space allowed us to have friends over and watch football and spend time together. They had everything we needed and we really loved the house. Comfortable beds and pillows and lots of extras that you might need if you forget anything!

Perfect Girls Weekend
This house provided us the opportunity to gather for our girls weekend. It was in a beautiful location with a breathtaking view. The house was clean and well-equipped. It had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood on the bluff
Home was beautifully detailed and nicely appointed with so much space. Neighborhood is lovely and the Amelia Earhart home is next door. AC was a big plus with the hot days. Beds were very firm and pillows hard, we like softer so weren’t comfortable to us. Overall, we highly recommend this newly renovated charming home.

Your family is welcome in our home anytime. We are always trying to improve on the quality in the experience for our guests. We have made our spare pillows easier to locate. They are more soft and may have been more suitable to you Come back in the fall as the view from the front porch is lovely when the leaves turn
