The location is excellent, although the lift can sometimes not be operable and the flats are on the 4th/5th floor. The Management Company in charge of the property was unprofessional, unhelpful and not understanding. We left feeling we had been “ripped off”and they did not care! We downgraded our room on arrival as the photographs on Expedia were not representative of the class of room booked on Expedia. We explained this and they agreed that incorrect photographs were advertised, but made little effort to refund us the difference of the lower grade room and said it was our responsibility and nothing to do with them, and we should contact Expedia directly. We felt ripped off as clearly it was not our fault and surely it is the responsibility for the owner/management company to ensure correct photographs/images of specific rooms are advertised. We contacted the management company on numerous occasions, to find a fair solution. Alas to no avail. In the end they contacted Expedia but we only received a token refund of £32 instead of the difference of £102 for two nights as per the advertisement. This is not reasonable compensation, especially given the way it was managed, and caused much ill feeling. A further point to be wary of is that there was a large step in the centre of our room, that was dangerous at night as there was limited lighting and you were visiting the bathroom. We won’t be staying again.
