Hermosa finca !!
Hermoso lugar, cerca del aeropuerto, desafortunadamente solo nos quedamos una noche, nos hubiera gustado quedarnos otra noche para disfrutarlo mas. Nikolia es una gran anfitriona, nos preparo una deliciosa y tradicional cena griega, nos ayudo a conseguir traslado seguro desde y hacia el aeropuerto, el camino no esta pavimentado del todo,, pero vale la pena la espera

Mi única palabra es que el lugar es INCREÍBLE , ame el lugar , es de primer nivel . Fue encantador y me hubiera gustado estar más tiempo , el lugar está muy cerca del aeropuerto. Eso si está muy muy lejos de la ciudad . Pero vale la pena la estancia ya que está cerca de un metro . Pero para todo necesitas Taxi o UBER . No es posible llegar caminando pero el hotel cuenta con taxi en el momento

Convenient option close to the airport.
Splendid option close to the airport. The house is a very recommendable option for an early or late flight. Kitchen is available to cook and very good common areas, includying a very very big garden. A bit noisy due to the planes.

Such a wonderful place near the airport! The transportation was offered and provided. The dinner and breakfast were excellent! Great way to be introduced to Greece! Quiet, country area with a little church on the grounds! Beautiful and exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for! ❤️ it, just a 1 night there was not enough!

The country house and farm is so cute! We were just staying here for the night as it was close to the airport for our early flight the next day, so didn't see or do much, but it was a great room. The only thing I would say to someone considering this place is if you are a light sleeper, there are wonderful dogs protecting the place that do bark into the night.

Gorgeous place in beautiful fields very close to the Athens airport. Truly a haven. I hope places like this — with fields and woods and streams— survive intact so close to Athens! Cute town with bakeries and more close by as well. I walked there and loved the road- saw people riding horses and met some sweet dogs. An ancient chapel is lovely to visit too

There was a mix up
I booked a specific room that had 3 beds for 3 people. Unfortunately I only said 1 person was staying there and they gave my room away, causing us to have to find a second place for the third person to stay. I says right on my reservation that I booked a three-bed room so I felt they didn’t have a right to change that and put me in another room with one bed. It was comfortable though and clean and the people were very nice.

My husband and I stayed at this property the last three nights of our 2 1/2 week stay in Greece. The property was very clean, the attention to detail was greatly appreciated and Nikolia was very attentive and responsive to messages. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in this area!

Not recommended..
The price of a room is reasonable and the hotel including the room where I stayed is clean and comfortable. Shuttle for one way is 22 Euro, which is much more expensive than expected, shower water is not hot enough, and breakfast has a less variety of foods than expected. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel.

11 minutes from the airport
Friendly, professional and helpful people. Room modern, good bed, rainfall showet. Really handy to accept a good dinner with wine after check-in. Taxi river Vaios picked me up in his Mercedes at the car rental, and next morning took 11 minutes from pick-up until we were at the right gate at the airport. All in all a very convenient stay. The only minus was dogs barking in the hourse when trying to fall asleep and parts of the night

Great stay by Athens airport
I stayed for one night as part of an overnight layover in Athens. Staff is warm and welcoming and Claudine (owner) is terrific. If you have an opportunity, don't miss her homemade dinner (at additional charge) that is very much worth it and delicious. Atmosphere is good with nice sitting area. The house is very close to the airport, which makes it a convenient stop to spend the night--affordable and much better than a hotel. Naturally, and as other reviews mentioned, you could hear the planes but that is to be expected given the close proximity to the airport. If airplanes noise at night is a concern, this might not be the place for you. It didn't bother me at all and I slept fine at night. There isn't much to do around so it really is mostly an overnight stop by the airport for most travelers. There's a small town center nearby that I walked to, just to check it out. As a whole, highly recommend. If I have another overnight stop at Athens, I'll be sure to come back.

Excellent property, rural and peaceful setting. Fantastic room and amenities. Pick up and drop off from / to airport was flawless and logistics of this was done well. Fabulous hosts who are friendly, funny , caring and excellent Greek dinner with wine and good breakfast. Great experience and close to airport for flight in and out over an 18 hour period. Wonderful way to support a fantastic, local, small , family business. We need more of these in your portfolio

One night stay near Airport.
A one night stay chosen as near the Airport. The owner is lovely and friendly, the house nice. It is very close to the Airport Runway, so quite noisy until after midnight. We had an early morning flight, up early so missed breakfast. Not a long drive to the Airport.

Our stay here was perfect for an early morning flight the day of check-out. We were able to check in early, they arranged transportation from our cruise ship to the property, and early morning (3:30 am) transport to Athens airport. The transports were clean, safe, fairly priced, and provided the right vehicles to fit our needs. They provided a wonderful dinner that night, as well, at a very fair price. The only thing to note was aircraft noise was at times high due to proximity to airport. But, an airport location was our choice, and overall, it worked out great. I would use them again. Other guests had also stayed at Varaba on other trips

This is a great place to stay close to the airport. Lovely setting and very comfortable room and bed. Claudine prepared a wonderful meal that we enjoyed in the patio while sharing travel stories with other guests. Transportation connections were easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. We only stayed one night to catch our flight early the next morning. Used their car service which worked great. It’s a very cool place and we would love to have stayed longer. Staff was great to work with and helped make our stay enjoyable. They provided very good communication and even gave us a late night snack when we arrived later in the evening. Would highly recommend!

We really liked that they had a driver who would transport us to and from the airport or cruise port for a reasonable fee. He was friendly and always prompt and on time with pick-up. We also liked the friendly staff at Varaba House who would serve breakfast or dinner for an additional fee. This was convenient since there is no close nearby restaurants within walking distance to Varaba House. They speak English so communication is not a problem and they always respond promptly to e-mail. Just need to let them know in advance you need pick-up at airport, breakfast, dinner, etc.

We only stayed there overnight- it was already dark, but the staff was very helpful. they arranged transportation from the airport and back and were waiting for us. The place is cozy. I think we would have enjoyed it if we had a chance.

Highly recommended
Very cosy and friendly place near the airport. Clean an comfortable rooms, good shuttle service . They can arrange very nice dinner if you like. The host Nikola was very helpful. If you're not traveling by car you should remember that the place is not in the city and there is no shops and restaurants assessable by short walk - it is very relaxing country place. Early check in was kindly allowed wich was very helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at the Varaba Country House. Had an overnight layover in Athens and decided to stay here, glad we chose it. It's very cute and inviting with the added convenience of being only minutes away form the airport. Nikolia was an incredible host and arranged transportation to and from the airport along with cooking us a homecooked traditional Greek dinner which was delicious! Bruno the dog and his friends were friendly and welcoming as well. Overall, highly rated and will come back again soon!

Et idyllisk og sjarmerende siste stopp for vår høstferie. Vi bodde på "Loftsrom deluxe med eget bad (Suite 6), som var smakfullt innredet, med god seng, samt godt renholdt. Vi ble tatt godt i mot av en vennlig og service-minded eier/drifter, som også bød på en deilig 3-retters middag, med god husvin på karaffel. Det eneste minuset, for oss som er vant til lite støy om natten, var to hunder som bjeffet mye i løpet av natten. Jeg tror de har mye å vinne på å gjøre noe med den utfordringen, for god nattesøvn har jo mye å si.

Interesting property. Clean. Owner left beers… thank you but snack was covered in ants. Would be considered quiet without barking dogs. Full breakfast consisted of hard boiled egg, cornflakes and sliced banana with little to no communication from staff. Ok for quick in and out of airport. Transportation guy late for pick up.

Excellent small inn close to Athens airport!!!
This is a small inn close to airport. Service was excellent!!! Host Nikolai was great to communicate with. She assisted with transfer arrangements from airport and a wonderful Greek meal on the evening of our arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay close to Athens airport!!!
