First, the location of the place is great and the home was clean. Tracey, the host, was nice and met us at check in. However, there were several issues which made the stay uncomfortable and we would not stay again.
In our party, we had 4 adults: my wife, me, and another couple. The property is described as being able to comfortably fit 4 adults, and the overall picture is a comfortable stay. This is not the case. Of the two bedrooms, one is small with a queen bed, which could sleep two adults if they sleep in the same bed. However, there is no central AC, and the window AC unit is right next to the bed and is loud which makes it hard to sleep well. The room is hot and stale without running the AC; the tower fan does help some.
The other room is tiny and has a full bed plus twin bunk bed stuffed into it. The other couple tried to sleep in that room but were unable to sleep due to a combination of dust, stuffiness, and a loud window AC unit. They ended up getting a hotel room rather than stay in that room.
Between all of us, we slept badly each night. The rest of the house is fine, just very small. Overall, I’d recommend that a max of 2 adults stay in the home, and if there is another option, I’d take that one. The lack of central AC and airflow makes the home quite uncomfortable. The description online did not communicate the lack of proper air conditioning, the loudness of the window AC, and only being able to fit 2 adults.
