Great stay

The house was great and Emily was very helpful. One thing about navigating is the link in the app takes you to the wrong address (happened multiple times for us) but if you put the address directly in your gps it works fine.

It’s a great property south of Austin. Quiet neighborhood, very clean (and I’m on the picky side on cleanliness) photos are accurate. Nice extras, including excellent coffee and tea, super water pressure, nice fridge, good beds. Renovated bathrooms and a really nice outdoor space. We arrived during the Google cloud outage, and couldn’t get VRBO to respond, but when we did, we got a response from Emily in 3 minutes. She texted info, and we were good to go. An HEB within 2 miles, and a great taco truck within 3 miles. Only downside is the bathrooms and bedrooms are upstairs. If you can’t carry your stuff up pretty steep stairs, it’s not for you. However, I’m 66 and my friend is 75, and we didn’t have any trouble. Nicely decorated (if a little more than I would do- but I’m a minimalist.). We were up for a concert at the Moody and dinners with family, and will come again.

If you’re looking for a large holiday home in Florida, look no further than Mickeys Escape.Perfect location for Disney, Universal etc.Beautifully decorated property with a lovely pool area, where we enjoyed evening drinks and a dip, after long days at the parks. Plenty space for the 14 members of my family. Positioned within in a beautifully maintained, gated development, that was so peaceful and immaculate.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful, holiday retreat.

Great place and a comfortable stay!

This place was awesome to be at for the weekend. The beds were so comfortable!! The rules were strict, but i do understand that some people can be poor house guest. I'm glad the cleaning instructions werent overwhelming. I'll happily stay again. Everything was just like the pictures. No complaints at all!

Great property, great location!

This property was exactly what we needed for our trip to Austin. Very clean and well maintained. Location was perfect with lots of shopping and dining nearby. Would 100% stay here again. Only issue we had was that VRBO didn’t send us the check in information - I believe this was VRBO and not the property owner - so it took a bit of calling and texting while we sat in the driveway.

Home away from home.

Clean and comfortable. We didn't want for anything. Close to great grocery store. Easy commute to downtown and airport. Everything worked. No trouble what so ever. Host was helpful and accessible.

Wonderful stay in Austin! This house is in the best location to hit up all the BBQ joints around. The house had everything we needed and is in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely revisit 😃

Avoid The Downtown Crush

I’ve been attending the ACL Music Fest since year one (2002). I’ve tried various arrangements to make navigating it less stressful. I’ve stayed downtown in hotels, nearby in short term rentals. But this was my favorites te so far. It’s far enough away from downtown to be able to avoid the crush. And it’s a quick Uber to the Festival. We were able to get from the front door to inside the Festival in under 30 minutes, and it usually takes me longer when I stay a mile away from Zilker. ANYWAY, house was great. Beds were comfy. Coffee bar was an unexpected bonus. Will book again.

Great stay near Austin

I was excited when I saw that this property was available for us to stay at. This made our visit so much nicer than if we had gotten two hotel rooms for our little travel party. From the reservation process to the check-in and check-out processes, communication from the host was excellent. I especially appreciate the host checking in to make sure that we had everything we needed. This is a great property in a great location, easy access anything. We enjoyed just hanging out on the patio after dark, thanks to the nice lights that are strung up in the back yard. I appreciate the little touches, such as convenient power adapters located throughout the house. In addition, this neighborhood is very walkable and quiet! If you drive to the downtown, I recommend checking out the Cidercade and the boardwalk.
