Schöne Tage am Waldrand
Wir erkundigten unsere Umgebung zu Fuss. Für die tägliche Bewegung im nahen Wald war die Lage des Hotels optimal.

Very quiet,directly by the Wood Edge ,the Townsend Center and Cassiopcia Therme about 10 Minutes .

Good budget stay for a spa weekend
We arrived at 18,00 Saturday and there was noone at the reception, an announcement in GERMAN- only- was exposed at the reception, but we did not understand it. There was a list next to it with the names and the room numbers, and we took our room key hanging by the reception and moved in... Later we were told that the announcement said to go to the restaurant beside the hotel to find someone... We then went to the Cassiopeia spas and came after midnight, 2 hotel staff were there, writing an announcement in french for someone still to arrive.. In the room there were many dead and living HUGE insects - it was scary having to throw them out. However, in general the room (21) was cosy, the bathroom had a shower, the sink and the huge mirror in the room. The condition is average, but cosy, the heating was good (outside +2). Staff were all very nice. Breakfast was good, variety of things. The spa is ca 15 minutes walk, or 2 min. by car. In the hotel there is a gym and a swimming pool, but we did not use it. The staff promised to translate their announcements into English or French as well :)

Guter Service in ruhiger Lage
Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand von Badenweiler. Sehr ruhig, teils von Wald umgeben. Der Empfang (obwohl etwas späte Ankunft) war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, aufgeteilt in Aufenthaltsraum und Schlafraum mit Balkon und einem normal großen Bad. Etwas ältere Möbel, jedoch alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Wellnessbereich mit schönem, großem Pool und Blockhaus-Sauna im Außenbereich konnte überzeugen. Toll. Der Aufenthaltsraum etwas laut, da nicht abgetrennt, aber o.k. Im Restaurant wird man mit badischen Spezialitäten in gemütlicher Atmosphäre verwöhnt. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Obwohl das Hotel zur Zeit meines Aufenthaltes etwas weniger besucht war, gab es vom frischen Obst über Eierspeisen, Wurst und Marmeladen alles. Kostenlose Parkplätze und W-Lan rundeten den Aufenthalt ab. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Bei nächster Gelegenheit gerne wieder.
