Great hotel, rooms are very comfortable. Would recommend to look for a Seaview room. It is worth it. Breakfast is excellent.

Staff jocelyn, chris, and moya gave inaccurate info that the hotel would have views of fireworks for the new years. Fireworks were not at the lake front nor were they in view. We notified the hotel manager that agreed to provide full refunds and we checked out!

This hotel is more like an event center. No valet service. No help with luggage. Parking is across the street in a 3-story garage which was pretty much full on Friday night. Watered down shampoo and conditioner. Great restaurant but no room service.

Our first time at this location , but it’s about to become our permanent place when we visit . Check in was a breeze , the bed was super comfortable. Toiletries ✅, the ambiance ✅. Breakfast in the morning at restaurant was also great. Not a single complaint. We shall definitely return!!

Disappointing stay
We stayed at the hotel several times, when attending music concert. This stay started great as normal with friendly staff, and quick service. The room this time was very loud, we were able to hear every word fir the room next to us….room 603, not a good choice. After the concert, we returned back to hotel, and the bar was busy, but bartenders would not take my order. Other patrons actually notice this action. Crazy, enough the patron order a drink fir my wife and I. It appeared the bartender just wanted to go home. Disappointing stay…..

This is a gem in Columbia. The coffee shop is very good and you can sit and look over the sunrise over the beautiful lake. The bar has excellent food and drink and it’s amazing I can have my pooch sit with me on the sofa and have table service with a menu that’s competitive to any quality food in big cities. The crab dip and crab soup are top notch. The kiwi mojito is delicious and everything else I’ve tried in my three recent stays. It’s not crowded however I wish it was more popular so that the bar was open more. Rooms are comfortable. Since food & drink services closes at a certain hour, guests would benefit from mini bar options. The gym is wonderful. It’s so nice to be able to walk out and take a stroll around the lake or walk to a restaurant from the hotel. I adore the bird themed decor and mix of bands and artists who have played at Merriweather. There are many spots to conduct business meetings on beautifully decorated lounge spots and also excellent meeting spaced like a conference room, rooftop lounge by the pool and event soace. I’m thoroughly impressed with the updates as I’ve been staying at this hotel my entire life before it was redone. Parking is super easy.

Beautiful Hotel
Very clean and comfortable. The room was amazing. I loved walking around the hotel and seeing all of the amenities available including the roof top pool! The property is beautiful and I would easily stay here again. It’s a pricey hotel but if you can afford it go for it.

Clean, well-run property, worth the splurge
This was my second stay at this property. I returned because of the HIGH standards they have, especially on cleanliness. Also, as a solo traveler, safety is important and the elevator protocols were very good (room key card needed to take elevator to your floor.) The staff was made of of friendly, helpful people.

I liked everything about the hotel except for the fact that there is not a microwave onsite and the limited space in the bathroom. At least one microwave in a kitchenette area should be available at any hotel or extended stay. The limited space in the bathroom is a good reason to look elsewhere. Please consider removing the small table between the sink and toilet, and adding shelves or some sort of tower that will allow guests to utilize more space.
