El apartamento (apropiadamente llamado Whistling Trains) está a media milla de la calle principal de Sykesville, la ciudad pequeña más fresca de 2016 en América. Hay muchos eventos en la ciudad, muchos senderos para caminar por la comunidad, un tren que recorre el río Patapsco y los túneles de ladrillo construidos en el siglo XIX. La ciudad tiene
Mucha historia y estás a menos de una hora de Gettysburg, Antietam, Harpers Ferry, Baltimore, Annapolis y Frederick. Washington DC está a unos 45 kilómetros de distancia.

El espacio

Hay un Roku configurado con un televisor de pantalla plana que da acceso a Netflex, HBO y muchos otros canales. Hay algunos juegos de mesa, libros y rompecabezas para su disfrute.
La cocina está diseñada para satisfacer sus necesidades de cocina y comedor. Hay una cafetera Keurig con K tazas. También habrá tazas de café "para llevar" si necesita preparar y correr. Encontrarás bolsitas de té, azúcar y una variedad de edulcorantes.
El sistema HVAC se reemplazó en 2016 y el nuevo sistema tiene un depurador de aire.
La cama individual en el área común es una cama plegable que se almacena en el cuarto de lavado.
Hay un traco Graco Pack N Play y una trona Fisher Price Space Saver para acomodar a nuestros huéspedes más jóvenes.

Acceso de invitados

Cute town, attentive hosts!

The hosts truly thought about everything and left detailed tips and instructions. The town feels like a romcom! Friendly people and sweet shops. We slept so soundly, didn’t even notice it was an attached property. Comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower, and a place to watch the NBA playoff games at night. I’ve traveled a lot of places, but Debbie and Chris’ VRBO has unmatched hospitality.

Little disappointed

Communication before we got there was good. When we arrived the code to the door would not work luckily the owner's son was there he literally had to redo the codes and he couldn't figure it out at first took a while to get in and he never said sorry about the door lock not working or anything it was like we bothered him. Entranceway was very dirty with leaves and grass cuttings thought it would be a little bit cleaner when you walk up to the front door . The carpet also was dirty didn't look like anybody had vacuumed I have pictures but don't know how to post. last thing is be careful when you walk out the front door there's a 2-in lip that is at the threshold of the door that you could trip on my wife did. The pictures are old the train out front is nothing like in the picture.

Nice Stay

Furniture was a little shabby. The bed was comfortable, but sheets didn’t fit well, slipped around quite a bit, and pillows were not comfortable. Location was very good and close to restaurants and shopping. We asked for a folding table and property manager brought us one right away and helped with the TV.

All the essentials at reasonable cost

Furnished with all the basics needed for 3 night stay. Comfortable beds. Easy parking and access. Nice area and easy walk to historic downtown Sykesville, which has couple of restaurants, bars, ice creamery, coffee. The house entry way could be significantly improved by moving the trash/recycling bins, and thus flies and foul odor, away from the front door, and removing the numerous cobwebs.

I do a lot of small trips. This was one of them. I find that a good b and b is often better than a hotel for less money. That was the case here. Very easy, comfortable stay, and I'd certainly visit again!

We sent 8 nights while celebrating a 50 year HS Reunion, visiting friends, and attending a wedding reception! The place was clean, beds comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood. If you are looking for high end luxury probably not what you want but if you are looking for great comfortable place to stay at one of the best values you could find in this area it’s wonderful! Would definitely stay again!!!

Great Location and Nicely Done

Very nice apartment and great location. Apartment is well appointed for a long or short stay, with everything needed for comfort, including a small desk for working (this was a "working" trip). With family in the area, we will be back and this is a perfect spot for a getaway. Very clean and quiet.

Grandparents Visit

We encountered a beautiful comfortably furnished apartment where we felt very comfortable. It was our starting point in the morning and our place to relax in the evening after visiting family. Due to the proximity to the old town, we even enjoyed an evening of live music. We will be happy to come back again.

We arrived in the evening and the property was not very well-lit. I wondered aloud which of the two doors was our entrance. A voice from a speaker answered our question, which was a little creepy. They were watching us. If you are watching us, why not open the door and say hello? The property is nothing to write home about. It is decent, but dated and absolutely nothing special. The bathroom floor was filthy and the shower wasn't clean. The furnishings were pretty old and uncomfortable. The beds were fine. Plenty of towels and linens. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. The bedrooms from the inside appear underground, with the sole windows high up on the wall. One window is covered by a deck. This was not mentioned in the posting. This poses a safety hazard in a case of a fire or intruder. Additionally, there is no natural light, leaving us, literally, in the dark. It was fine, but not worth the price. We won't be returning.

Amazing find

Convenient and comfortable

This property met all of our expectations and provided us with comfortable beds, a full kitchen and convenient access to the area. When we needed help with the smart t.v. the owner responded immediately and gave us the help we needed.

Comfortable and quiet.

Quiet, comfortable, well equipped, safe and secure. Has a covered outdoor porch area to relax and view the distant hills and trees. Very private area of family homes that are well spaced on large lots.
