Ubicación:
La casa de huéspedes se encuentra en la costa norte del monte. Desert Island, también conocida como la Bahía de francés. La cabaña tiene acceso a la playa y está a solo siete minutos (2. 5 millas) del centro de visitantes del Parque Nacional Acadia y 13 minutos (5 millas) de Bar Harbor. Hay divertidas y seguras rutas en bicicleta por el parque y la ciudad. La cabaña está enclavada en pinos y tiene una vista de Frenchman Bay. La propiedad también tiene una terraza con vista a la bahía y escaleras que bajan a la orilla. El amanecer y puestas de sol son increíbles. Ver barcos de langosta en la mañana y en marea baja salir a recoger mejillones.

Hay una gran sala de estar con cocina (estufa / horno, refrigerador y fregadero), área para comer, sala de estar con chimenea. Hay dos habitaciones. La cabina duerme cinco. Un dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio. La otra habitación tiene una cama litera y una individual. Hay una conexión a internet WiFi y puede transmitir desde sus dispositivos móviles a la TV. La casa tiene un gran porche cubierto para sentarse. También ofrecemos una parrilla de carbón. El aparcamiento está al lado de la cabina.

Este es un lugar tranquilo y silencioso. Hemos estado alquilando los pinos y su cabina hermana, la casa de huéspedes durante más de 40 años. Tenemos clientes que han estado viniendo aquí por una década o más. Este es un gran lugar para una pareja o una familia. También te facilitamos el traer a tus mascotas. Tenemos mascotas y sabemos lo bueno que es traerlas, ¡así que traigan las suyas!

Cabin in the woods

If not for the weather being a bit too chilly for me all went well. I gave 1 star for the property manager because i texted her once and never got a response. I texted the owner and got a prompt reply. If its chilly expect to burn lots of wood as we did. The 2 space heaters work well with the wood stove to make it nice and cozy. We brought a fan with us and placed it to the left side of stove to circulate warm air coming off stove. That really worked well. Loved the shower, nice and hot and good pressure. Well situated to get anywhere, nice surroundings, very wooded.Had eveything you needed in a kitchen. Loved the picture windows. The fact they accepted pets was the determning factor. Would go back again, absolutely!

A peaceful adventure

We enjoyed such a peaceful week and slept so soundly! Loved enjoying my morning coffee while doing yoga on the deck with my daughter. We had easy access to get to every part of the island. Such a great place to come back to after our hiking, biking, and exploring activities! Easy access to and prompt replies from the property owner. Highly recommend this property.

We loved your cabin! While not right on the water, it was perfect to be in the woods a bit off the beaten path (yet still close to everything!). It was nice to sit on the dock and watch the wildlife and boaters in the evening. Sitting on the deck was so quiet and peaceful. We found ourselves sitting there in the morning and then again in the evening. The cabin provided all the basic needs. Kevin checked in on us to make sure all was good. Thank you for that!

Perfect Location!

We loved our week at the Pines! It was the perfect location, close by to Hulls Cove entrance at Acadia NP and close by to downtown Bar Harbor. It was also easy to get to other other areas, less than an hour to Schoodic. Check in and check out was easy and communcation was easy too. The cabin had everything we needed and was nestled in the woods. It was so nice to sit on the deck in the evening after a long day at the park.

Wonderful Vacation!

We absolutely loved staying at the cabin. Everything was as advertised and the setting was picturesque. The cabin was relaxing and quiet and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. We can’t wait to get back to Maine! Kevin was a fantastic host!

Comfortable Acadia Stay

My son and I stayed here for a week. It's a bit rustic but well provisioned. Our first night the temperature dropped to 45 degrees - fortunately it has space heaters. By the end of the week the heat index was over 100 - but the property manager came to the rescue with two tower fans that were just right. The beautiful bouquet of cut flowers on the kitchen table was appreciated. I'd stay here again.

Great space and location!

We just got back from a wonderful stay at The Pines. The cabin has everything you need and is in the perfect location. Great proximity to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor, as well as a nice mini golf spot. The cabin has a rustic vibe, and we loved that. It got chilly at night but the space heaters did the trick and we weren’t cold at all. Our dog had a blast too!

wonderful time

we loved it so did our daschunds close to bar harbor and acadia and great trips around maine. Kevin was great and happy to give us information. cabin is great somewhat rustic but that is what we enjoy. didn't miss anything and enjoyed everything ! we will come back asap !

Acadia Trip

Functional cabin but difficult for my husband as he is 6'5''. The cabin is tight in places and as we are over 60, lighting was a problem. The beauty of the area and sightseeing were beyond amazing. the cabin needs some scissors in the utility drawer. Thank goodness I brought my own. We had a little confusion with the check in process but it turned out okay.

Idyllic Maine Getaway

A rustic cozy cabin in the woods offering tranquility and water access…it’s exactly what we look for in a Maine vacation. Location can’t be beat. Just a short drive to Bar Harbor for shops and restaurants. Access to the park and carriage trails is convenient.

Nice Little Cabin

Was nice and cozy for the week. Just a short walk to the water. You have to drive anywhere else you want to go, that's the only negative thing. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in the downpour and just relaxing. Thanks

Great stay at The Pines

Perfect location-close to Acadia & downtown Bar Harbor. Kevin was an attentive host & provided great recommendations for meals & activities. My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing & reconnecting with our teens. We all loved spending evenings down by the water & searching for sea glass. Wonderful vacation had by all!

Very good location

Cabin is on a quiet road up the hill from the dock and close to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and great lobster shacks. Despite a rainy, cold week, we much enjoyed ourselves.

Great trip and property

Despite a rough start with a forgotten reservation and unprepared cabin, we found Kevin to be awesome and accommodating to work with. He and Rachel got the place ready while we did a quick exploration of the area. Enjoyed the location and easy access to everything, the views and exploring the shoreline at low tide. Definitely would recommend staying here.

A great vacation location for Acadia National Park

This property was a great location for getting to hiking trails for wonderful hikes and carriage trails for biking. It was in a location close to the Acadia national park roads. Bar Harbor was just a short drive. We were able to enjoy the ocean from the deck and enjoyed the sunrise with coffee on the deck. The host was great and easy to communicate with. What a great week we had in Acadia.
