Dear MT, thank you for your feedback. GROSVENOR apartments have free public parking around the building and is on the first come first serve basis, but there are usually many spaces to find. We have self check in and send key instructions by email. We also provide the guests with the house manual and city guide to help them get around. All our bathrooms have a bath tub and a sink, as well as the towel rack - I’m sure it was not possible you didn’t find it, so really don’t understand what you wanted to say. Our apartments are self catering, ie, you supply for yourself. Still, we do leave complimentary tea and coffee for guests, same as sugar, salt, oil etc so that you don’t have to rush to the shop right away. Two rolls for three people normally is quite enough. We understand you might have had certain expectations, however, all of the above is provided on the website with the photos, as I described. And totally strange comment about the bathroom, why tell lies?

Dear Guest, if you were to look at the correspondence between you and us, you could see how many times our staff tried to contact you in the politest way and how curt and non-informative you responses were. I have to say it’s a shame that our staff made all attempts to check you in in advance, trying to reach you time and again, which was ignored and not appreciated. As for the beds, they are approved hotel beds of medium softness from the national producer to fit a general guests preference. Kind regards.

Should you try calling the cleaners on the number provided, they would’ve brought you more supplies. From what I understand, the cleaners were a tad late and didn't finish making beds - which was completed within minutes. We also refunded you the fee. I've never met anyone who'd be put off by the sight of a hotel bed linen being changed. I understand you wanted to relax as soon as you arrived and I am sorry the cleaners were delayed in traffic - however, to be put off by the fact that the bed has not been fully finished yet is something I have never come across. Moreover that the rest of the apartment had been cleaned by the time you arrived, and there was nothing out of ordinary in the sight of that bed. In fact, it's a very nice and big Ikea bed, and the linen is also of a nice quality and professionally cleaned. I appreciate you might be having a bad day, however, should you waited just 10 more minutes, you'd be all right and not spoil your and your husbands' day (I am not talking about my cleaners and myself who remained in a deep shock from your reaction). If we could rate the guests, we would probably give it some thought how to rate you.

Dear James, first of all, thank you for staying with us. Just to say, if you have contacted us earlier or replied to our emails with the key instructions and directions, you wouldn't have to go through the process in the morning of your check in date. We do have an iron and a working ironing board, and we checked the shower tap which is working. The building is indeed Grade 1 and 250 years old. It is a usual residential building with a clean entrance hall, the apartment is cleaned after each stay professionally. Perhaps, you expected a palace, but it would be strange to expect one in Bath at £80 a night. Kind regards

We provide maps with parking location around the house, sorry it happened to your car - there is additional parking available behind the building.

The apartment is very nice, the stable as well, comfortable beds, living room and bathroom clean, instead the kitchen and utensils were really dirty as well as drawers, for the standard of a 4-star apartment also the towels had to be different, they only provided us with four and a very small average size for the after-shower. The apartment is saved because the Georgian building is really fascinating and the two beautiful fireplaces, but I was in the company better check the status of cleaning.

The very first communication the guests receive from us explain the check in procedure and give the heads up about our communication system and security deposit. Guests also receive the house manual which explains the operation of the boiler (which you apparently had accidentally turned off). Ours is an apartment not a hotel hence the reason for this, as we have no reception.

Thank you for your feedback. Not sure what to say as both the bathroom door and the bathtub itself are in good working condition, so not sure what do you refer to. Perhaps, you needed guidance with using the shower? But it is a very straightforward one.
