Found this little gem on line and what a find, great place with the friendliest people. Went over and above for me and made sure i have some breakfast in a bag when i left at 6 in the morning. Would highly recommend this place

Disappointed
Very small room. Twin beds very uncomfortable and noisy. Nowhere to sit other than the beds. No full length mirror. Poor towels. Small TV. Bathroom and shower were good. The landlady was lovely but can’t say the same for her husband.

Age Dependent!
Need big refresh, lovely from outside but No parking & being “Seniors” on long trip with more luggage was dumb to book a room upstairs. Bed was box spring with a topper & with back medical issues created issues. Sara was charming, Rob was after talking with him. Recommend for those younger than 75!

Great value for money
Great location, lovely clean room and very helpful welcome and help to book a taxi thank you! Really lovely breakfast but slightly marred by an uncomfortably grumpy guy taking our order and making the food. Apart from that, would really recommend.

Last minute week away
Ok overall. The landlady was very friendly on arrival and explained everything but advised us where to park and I got greeted with a £50 parking fine (and on my birthday 👍) so be careful. The landlord has a “strange” personality not what you’d expect of a host. If you’re into dogs you’ll love it if not maybe try somewhere else.

Lovely pub. Small bedroom but great for the price. Free parking close by on the Main Street. Large full English breakfast included but not really for me and was happy with the fruit, yogurt and cereals. Two very friendly dogs who liked sitting on my feet when in the bar but they were kept out the way at breakfast time. Certainly recommend for short stay and especially if you like dogs. Lots of games to play in the bar. Nice little beer garden as well. I also like that they do not clean the room every day which I personally feel is a waste (I don’t clean my house every day) but they will sort the room on request. Maybe that is just me but I like the privacy. Thanks Rob and Sara and staff.

Lovely stay in a quiet side street. The rooms are over a busy pub but the clientele are kindly and well behaved. Played scrabble in the bar over a pint.

Great Stay!!
What a super place to stay. The room was clean with modern decor and the bathroom contained an excellent shower. The breakfast was tasty (and massive). Overall, a great place to stay and Bedale is a charming village to walk around. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely spot.
Clean, comfortable, ideal for our overnight stay. Bedroom floor was very creaky but it is an old building. Didn't cause a problem. Beer was very good. As other reviewers have said, the full breakfast is quite a challenge but I am pleased to say it did not defeat me! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only 20 yards from the free public parking made it very good. Would recommend if you are looking for a good stay at reasonable cost

Great little pub tucked away in the centre of Bedale, very welcoming hosts providing a monster breakfast that definitely lasts you all day. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the best compliment I can say is if I'm in Bedale again I'd happily stay in the Three Coopers.
