The house is nice, overall it was clean and in a good location and met our needs. It's fairly well stocked and bedding was nice. The neighborhood is quiet and there's a nice market (and restaurants) a few blocks away that we walked to. The main level is upstairs, I didn't realize that, but it wasn't an issue.
We had an issue with trying to get the air conditioning on...still not sure how we got it working, as we left it alone and then it miraculously came on. I had called the emergency line for assistance (it fell within their stated emergency requirements) and never got a call back. But I did email management to let them know it eventually came on, so maybe that's why I didn't get a call back. Had I realized it was not central air, I would not have booked this property. That was my error as I only looked for "air conditioning" in the amenities section. (I'm very heat sensitive.) I would have cancelled the booking, but didn't know the cancellation policy until after booking and we were already not allowed to cancel as it's a 60 day cancellation policy, unless your book less than the 60 days, but you have to pay to cancel. I didn't see this information prior to booking, but maybe I missed it...
There was supposed to be a river pass but I never found it. We weren't going to use it, but per our welcome and exit instructions, if it was not there after our stay, we would be charged a fee. So I wanted to make sure management knew it was already missing. I left voicemails and emails and haven't received a response. But last we checked, we have not been charged.
Even though the stay started off a bit frustrating and I still haven't received a response from management, I would recommend this house. But, it's not likely we would stay there again. It comes down to the lack of central air for me, since my body doesn't like heat. Winter might be okay, but I can't speak to how well the heating system works. If you're not particular like me, the house is fantastic!
