The best place to stay in Betws-y-Coed indeed! We absolutely adored our stay — super comfy beds, lovely hosts with amazing breakfast and recommendations for the area. Quiet (off the main road where most of the accommodations in town are located), homey feel but clean and well kept. Everything about this place was a thumbs up from us. Can’t wait to be back one day!

We spent 3 nights in this lovely clean guest house. Private off road parking, and all amenities within short walking distance. The owners are welcoming and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious. My wife was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options.

Really enjoyed our stay - excellent location for exploring Betws and wider area, very friendly proprietors, all very well organised, clean, good food, good facilities. Good local knowledge about places to go nearby

Friendly, helpful, hosts who provided home from home accommodation with a substantial, locally sourced, breakfast. Property is on the edge of the town, in a set back location so very quiet, though only a couple of minutes walk to all local amenities.

Ever again
I expected more for the money , my partner is 6f2 and his bed was too small the stairway and toilets also . No great sleep as the chuch bells chiming the hour and our door lock fall on the second night .I was also expected to have gown and sleeper as the shower room and toilet was a floor bellow . Due to covid everything has to be ask for as nothing is replenishing or replaced .

Dear Stephanie We are so pleased you managed to walk Snowdon during your stay at our three-star Victorian Guest House Having booked via a third party boking site late the previous night, you had booked the twin single bed Attic room which had its own private bathroom located on the floor below, great value including the full cooked breakfasts at only £80 for two people. Garth Dderwen has 6 very individual rooms which are described on our website we pre send to all our guests “STAY SAFE COVID-19” Information to ensure they have a safe and comfortable stay to explain how the current restrictions impact our guests, this is then backed up with comprehensive introduction letter prominently displayed on the front of the guest brochure in every room which we ask every guest to read. This includes requesting replenishment of complimentary items and towels. St Marys church has stood in the centre of Betws-y-Coed since 1864, two years after Garth Dderwen was built which gives it an ideal location for any visitor being only 200 yards from the centre (and church) Betws-y-coed village is the gateway to Snowdonia and hope you return to explore more of the beautiful countryside. May we suggest you research the higher price and star hotels that would provide for you and your partners specific requirements and expectations

Warm Welcome
A very warm welcome, excellent breakfast! Clean and comfortable. For my preference the bed was a little bit too firm. But that is a minor point in what, otherwise, was an excellent stay!

Served a purpose
We needed somewhere to stay to attend a wedding & we struggled to find a room due to the majority of accommodation in the village already being booked. This place had a twin room with shared bathroom including breakfast available which we booked & it was just what we needed & served a purpose. It was in a great location with private secure parking.
