Winter Paradise
First off Guy and his staff are amazing. This is our second time visiting. We stayed two nights. Such a peaceful, beautiful place to visit, especially in the winter. Great stone fireplace. Netflix on the Tv. We bbq outside while it was snowing, large snowflakes at that! Our dog loves the place too! Walking distance to the lake or restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet, all you hear are the Blue Jays. We will be staying here on a regular basis. Go check it out, you won’t be sorry! Thank you Guy!

Relaxing Beautiful Home Away from Home
My husband and I and our dog Rocky set out to have a peaceful but fun filled, relaxing weekend. We work 14 hour days/7 day weeks and we needed a break. This place was perfect. You can see the lake from the front porch. There is lake access and several great fishing spots within walking distance. There is a park with tennis courts and a picnic area right next door and 2 dog parks. There was a swinging bench and great front patio in a well maintained front yard that enabled me to sit and read and listen to the wind blow through the pine trees. The back yard is great as well with a jacuzzi, comfortable furniture and a great bbq. The fenced yard is big and our dog had a blast. The home is very well maintained. With comfortable furniture, 3 tvs, a fireplace and comfortable beds. Everything you need is there in the kitchen and bathrooms....everything. We had full meals and I even made brownies. They only thing we brought was food. Everything else was there for us to use. Lots of indoor and outdoor games. The owner and property manager are great. They answered all questions quickly and accurately. They were available throughout our stay without hesitation. They were friendly and professional. Guy (the owner) and the property management team get our highest rating. They are simply AWESOME. We recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and not have to worry about a thing except enjoying yourself.

Nice place, good location but overall somewhat bumpy experience
Overall nice and clean place. Location is good but walk into Village a bit far in Winter IMO. Check in was rough, was following instructions notifying the host of our status and arrival. The return communication was short, nondescript and not welcoming. I hadn't saved the VRBO address and was having trouble finding on my phone once we were on the mountain so had to ask the host. He initially sent us to wrong house but fortunately also got the lock box code wrong otherwise we would have been breaking into another rental. Not a huge deal (not too far away) but not a great start to a vacation. Had some issues at the house as well. Continued bumpy communication with the host and the owner stepped in (at request of host). Owner is wonderful person and considerate. It's a nice place to stay but for reasons described above would not return.

Hi Scott, This is Guy the owner. I'm so sorry about the miscommunication with Kenny. He manages my property, but he also manages many other properties. Often texts can be misread and taken the wrong way. This is high season and Kenny is very swamped at this time of year with multiple openings and closings. This is not an excuse, but he really needs to know either the owners name, name of the cabin or address otherwise he is just guessing, and mistakes could happen. Sorry about the other issues and I think I took care of them as soon as I knew about it. Thanks for being a great, 5 star, patient guest!! Really appreciate you.

Perfect Place for Our Family & Dog
This cabin was perfectly ideal for our family of 4 and our Shih Apso. We were walking distance from the Lake and Dog Park. This cabin is a few block from The Village (which is convenient if you are hungry). We were a few miles from Snow Play (tubing) and Alpine Slide. Guy (the Owner) is very considerate and accommodating. There is a TV in every room and the heater worked just fine. Our Shih Apso enjoyed the nice sized backyard while my wife and kids loved the Hot Tub. This all added up to a Perfect stay. 😊

Perfect Getaway

Family trip
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was perfect for two parents, two kids, and two pups. The backyard was a lot of fun with outdoor games and a hot tub. The yard was private with a tall fence as well. The kids enjoyed playing board games in the evenings. Easy access to park and the lake and a quiet street.

Snow Getaway
Best trip ever! This was a milestone trip for our family because it was our kid's first trip to the snow and this cabin was centered super close to Snow Play and Alpine slide. We would spend the day playing and come back to cozy cabin and light a fire and relax. We all immediately felt at home and just had the best time. The kids are already asking when we can come back. I highly recommend!!

Perfect cabin
Cozy small family cabin. Clean, and has all the amenities you need. Great neighborhood, beautiful park a stones through away. Our daughter watched the local middleschool football game, locals are fantastic and friendly. Close to all the restaurants and stores you have at home. We are from Tahoe; so it seems big bear is LosAngeles's Tahoe. It's the perfect cabin for skiing, boating, and family fun. Will definitely come back, as we like to travel and see other places vacation areas. The host deserves 10 stars! Thanks so much,, cheers!

Quaint Cabin
Our Family of three and our furry lab pup stayed at Guy’s cabin for 3 weeks in August. He has curated a wonderful mountain cabin atmosphere that is warm, cozy and rustic, but still very comfortable and convenient to everything. One of the best parts was the private backyard and jacuzzi. We ate outside everyday and used the jacuzzi most mornings to start our day. There is a wonderful park, 1/2 a block away for the furry family friends and a dog park. Beautiful sunsets and star gazing there. Easy to get to the village and eat, stroll and shop. Would highly recommend this little gem. Modern conveniences, Wi-Fi, EV charger, worked great.

This place is amazing
The cabin was spotless, fenced backyard for our dogs, which they loved! Perfect front patio, 3 houses from ski park & lake! Love this place and location!!! Owner Guy is amazing along with Kenny, thank you for a much needed mini vacation! Will always come back here!

Lot's of shade
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The location is close to everything. We especially enjoyed all the great shade. We sat out on the front and back decks each day. Also, thank you for providing an EV charger. There are very few chargers in BB and the ones they have are very slow. It was nice to be able to plug in at night and be ready to roll in the morning.

We’ve stayed in a few places in Big Bear, this cabin is by far the best. Guy and Kenny were absolutely amazing. Wasn’t sure if the roads were going to be open because of the large amount of snowfall. But everything worked out. The cabin was extremely cozy. Very quiet neighborhood. 3 feet of snow all around, which added to the beauty. Brought groceries just in case the local stores were low. Didn’t have any issues with finding places open to eat. The hot tub in the backyard was relaxing. Large stone fireplace in the living room was so nice. Dog park was walking distance from the house. Lake was frozen, but made for some beautiful pictures. Grizzly manor Cafe was a couple blocks away. Perfect location. We will definitely be back. Guy was so accommodating. He checked in with us and made sure everything was okay. We stayed from Friday to Monday. Great time! Highly recommend it!

Fun in Big Bear
This cabin was perfect for us, our 2 boys and our dog. It was their first time on snowboards and this location was great, with easy backroad access to the slopes, shopping and the Village (although stay away from the Village on holiday weekends- CRAZY BUSY!). We had a couple of small issues with amenities but the owner was super easy to communicate with and he took care of them quickly. We would most definitely stay here again. We'll just make dinner reservations way in advance next time!

Nice Getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much. I found communication with the owner preferable as the property manager didn’t ever seem to know who we were. On the other hand, the owner was great, fast and took care of the plumbing issue. Highly recommend you get firewood for the fire place. It’s so cozy. Also, try Pickles Pies…delicious. The cabin is ina great location and very comfortable.

Cabin Feeling
Love, love this cabin. I wanted the cabin feeling and this place gave you that feeling. Cozy, quiet, yet you can hear the nature around you. The backyard was bigger then expected and I wish I had more time to use the jacuzzi but due to some family stuff, we weren't at the cabin the whole time. We did take a peek in the jacuzzi and it looked very clean. It was easy to get check in and the communication with the owners/Management was easy as well. I would definitely come back to this cabin the next time we can get away to big bear.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin Close to Everything
Over the July 4th 2022 weekend my wife and I stayed in this well furnished quiet cozy cabin. This place is well maintained and supplied with anything you might need during your stay. We especially enjoyed a game night with Big-Bear-opoly. Pet friendly location with a nice size yard for the dog, hot tub and grill. Guy is an awesome host, check in/out was very easy even though we showed up late Friday night. Guy even checked in on us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is pleasant and people are friendly to strangers. It is within walking distance to a very nice park, the lake and town. Overall good time and would stay here again when we come back.

Wonderful stay in darling cabin!
Our stay at ain’t misbehavin was perfect! It’s just what we need to get out of the heat of Phx! Our pups loved it to! They had so much fun romping around the large yard chasing birds and squirrels! We will definitely be returning, Guy was so kind answering our questions and giving great recommendations to great restaurants!

Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights. The cabin is really cute and couzie. Less than a block to lake, but public beach was closed, but opens on mids June. The cabin is equiped with most basic needs. If you want to relax in a quite not so fancy place, then you should look into this cabin

Perfect Big Bear Getaway
Such a great cabin for our Big Bear getaway. My husband, myself and our two fur kiddos had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, quiet and well equipped. Cute bear decor, a great shower and super comfortable bed. We will look forward to visiting the cabin again.

Great stay!
Cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Checking in couldn't have been easier. Nice updated features, very comfortable and clean. Backyard was big, looks like a great place for a summer BBQ - we will have to book again in a few months. The location was another plus....right next to the lake, close to market. Guy was very quick to respond and very helpful/friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here to any small family.
