Amazing property in Big Bear
My family and I rented this property for a short ski trip after Christmas. It was fantastic and we will absolutely return in the future. The layout of the cabin/home was excellent. It has a ton of space but still felt cozy. The kitchen is fully stocked. We used the hot tub and game room often. The property manager was attentive and communicated well. We had a blast.

BEAUTIFUL CABIN!
Everything was perfect! I love that everything is labeled, you're not wondering if trying to figure anything out, everything is so user friendly. It made out stay here so perfect like I'd we lived here because we knew exactly how everything worked. It's very comfy, cozy, literary felt right at home. The pictures on vrbo do no justice. Thank you Woody for being a great host & sharing your cabin with us! We'll definitely be back!

Fabulous family vacation
This cabin was a perfect fit for my family. I was very impressed with how well everything was stocked. Really all we needed to pack was clothes and food 🥘 everything else was provided down to laundry soap 🧼 , shampoo , and every amenity that is used on a daily basis in my own home. The game room was very fun we spent hours in there with the kids. Also the few times we needed to message Woody the owner he was very responsive and took care of all of our needs we would definitely recommend this property to others !!! Great Time 😊

Great location
Great location. Short 5 minute walk to the lake. And 5 minute drive to the Village. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the wrap around deck in the morning .Then, relax and sip on a libation in the jacuzzi at night. Lovely.

Big bear trip 2022!
Me and my family had a blast. The house was very clean and cozy. The only negative issue is that it’s a duplex. Other then that no complaints. My favorite was the king bed in the master bedroom so comfortable. We had a family of 7 three adults and four kids it was perfect for all of us.

We arrived and check in went smoothly. The property was very nice. Definitely fit the description and our needs. Had an issue with air hockey game but was taken care of quickly. Easy communication with property manager. Definitely recommend.

Great week with the family
The property was a short walk from Boulder Bay and a ten minute drive from surprisingly good restaurants. The hot tub was great. Comfortable beds. Laundry. Game room (we played a lot of ping pong) - nice and quiet and a relaxing time with our grown kids.

Nice n Cozy
Amazing cabin! nice location! just the right size for my family. Walking distance to the market, Boulders Bay Park and canoe rental. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. The only thing the cabin needs is new pots and pans rather than that we had a fantastic time.

Okay Cabin
This cabin was great for the amount of money I paid, unfortunately we were not very happy that it was part of a duplex unit and it was not described as such online. There was some issues when we arrived but we took care of them, cleanliness was not up to par but it was ok. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, everyone woke up with achy backs and complaining of not sleeping well. Jacuzzi tub was ok, but when we call the manager to see if they can clean it no one came to do it. Overall it was ok for the money.

Other reviews do not support his comments. When I asked for specifics he didn't respond. Nore did he let me or my check in person know while there. Our cleaning and spa people cleaned before arrival and are the best. We have privacy on large outdoor deck with hot tub, BBQ and deck chairs that are on opposite sides of house with garage in-between and vacant lot on side and behind. Not sure his motivation as he is a local handyman who may work for competitors.

Peaceful trip from LA
My wife and I come up every year to Big Bear for our anniversary and to escape the LA hectic way of life. This was truly a wonderful place to stay. It is equipped with everything we needed and the some and the host and Stacey were amazing as far as making sure everything went perfect. Thank you.

Very mountainous feel.
Enjoyed ourselves very much. Everything was very nice and just as it was advertised. My only advise would be upgrading the pots and pans a bit. We made do and had a great time. Thanks for your hospitality!

Thank you for your review. We have had some guests that damage pots and pans. We had put in new set a month ago. We have more new that we will be putting in.

Perfect family vacation home
Stayed here with my family.. wife, 4 young adults and 5 year old. Perfect size with the 3 bedrooms. We all had fun with the game room and loved having a lot of snow in the back and on the side of the house to play in. Probably will rent again next winter.

Wonderful place
The cabin was the perfect size for our group. The decor was perfect for Big Bear! The house was fully stocked with a full kitchen, lots of towels and extra blankets! The house was very clean. The owner sent a text the day before arrival and we were on a group chat with him and the rental company representative so any concerns were answered immediately! Everything about the stay was enjoyable and we are planning our next ski trip to stay at this house again! Thanks Woody for letting us stay at your wonderful house!!

Fall Getaway
We really enjoyed staying at Woody's cabin in Big Bear. The layout is great and the amenities were perfect for our needs. The hosts have taken care in ensuring that the cabin is clean and well-supplied. There is enough room for everyone. The hosts were very responsive and the cabin instructions are clear and easy to follow. The location is close to everything and it was easy to get around. We look forward to a future stay at this nice cozy cabin retreat.

Great spot to relax and unwind!
Woody’s place was great! Lots of room to spread out, a really well stocked kitchen as far as pots/pans, tableware. Clean and private hot tub, beds and linens were comfortable, lots of towels for showers and hot tub use. Furnishings were themed to a log cabin and very comfortable, and I am pretty picky! Communication with the local manager was great and we got some great tips. Thank you, Stacey! The only very small downside is that the house is right on a pretty busy intersection, so there was somewhat constant traffic noise, though it wasn’t a huge deal if you were inside with the doors closed.

Thanks for the great compliments especially coming from as you called your self picky. On traffic it is usually not busy except on few hours Friday with arrivals and few hours Sunday with departures and that is only on busy weekends. It was unually busy due to opening of Big Bear.

Our trip to Big Bear was absolutely amazing. The kids had a wonderful time riding bikes, running around, hiking and fishing. You are SO close to an area that is popular for fishing. The roads are perfect for bike riding and the house is a true gem. The open concept of the house with kids was ideal. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Loved our stay here
Great location and great house! Loved the decor, the hot tub, the game room and the whole house. Close to the park. Rented kayaks right around the corner which was awesome. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Loved having extra blankets in the family room as well as the bedrooms. Only thing we needed to bring was food and coffee. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect family vacation
My extended family (6 adults and a baby) stayed at this house. It was perfect for our family. It was walkable to Boulder Bay Park, close to downtown and on quiet street. The home was well stocked, quiet and clean. We enjoyed the deck and enough space for all of us. Woody was amazing, our first rental canceled our reservations on us three weeks before our trip and we were nervous about finding another spot as we had booked our previous spot months prior. However, we were delighted when we found this home and had amazing contact with the owner. He was quick to respond and exceptionally easy to book through. While our family tries to vacation somewhere new every year, we will keep this as a great fall back option for another summer trip.

Great time at a Top Shelf Property
We have stayed at a number of Big Bear cabins , Woodys was the best - no question . We came up during the big Storm of 2/22/19,and was greated by 4 ‘ of fresh snow -it was awesome . The home is almost new , clean , great accoutrements. We will come here again - Thanks Woody

Nice House
This house is very nice and spacious. It is way nicer than the pictures show. But there are two negative things that we can say about the maintenance of the house, that we were not expecting to face. 1. There were bounch of spider webs around the porch, specially one big one right at the entrance. 2. Also the hot tub water was not clean. It looked like has not being clean for a while. It smelled like stagnant water. At first we though it was us, but after a while we realized that it was just not good to use it again. Since the swiming beach of the lake was dry and we could not go swiming, at least we were expecting to use the hot tub as a consolation but the water was to dirty to go in it.

Very beautiful house and lovely stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woody's cabin. The house is well laid out and he provided us with everything we needed. The hot tub was even hot when we got there! We were able to walk to friend's houses and to the store which was really nice. Would definitely recommend this house!

A Great Choice for our family
We have stayed in several rentals in the Big Bear area, and this was the nicest! It was very well-maintained, clean and spacious and we really enjoyed it. The furniture, beds and appliances were all in great condition. The master suite with very large bathroom and private deck is a treat for the adults. The 2 smaller bedrooms were also nice, with plenty of beds for various sleeping arrangements. The ping pong table in the attached garage was great for the kids. We liked the location close to Boulder Bay, a short pleasant walk to the park and dock. I enjoyed communicating with Woody, and would be very happy to rent this great cabin again!

Great cabin, great location!
Our family shared this with one other family (6 ppl total) and everyone loved the place. Very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a hit with the kid's and the adults. Woody, the owner was very easy to reach with any questions and he was nice. We are going to try to book this cabin again next month for another trip. I highly recommend this place.

Great home
5 out of 5! Very cozy duplex. New appliances, ping pong, and hot tub are perfect. Home is very well maintained as everything works 100%. It is well equipped. Wonderful place to stay. To say anything negative I would have to REALLY reach because it is very hard to criticize this home or its ownership. TV doesn't recognize other HDMI cables, I know, it is not a real issue, but if you bring a laptop with your own movies or wedding videos, you're out of luck. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful, Immaculate, Full of Amenities...Perfect Mountain Getaway!
My family and I loved our stay in this beautifully decorated, hand carved wood decor immaculate home. The open floor plan, exceptionally well-stocked kitchen, cozy living room, and gas fireplace was ideal for enjoying family time together. The spacious deck was an amazing place to have hot chocolate with the kids while enjoying the crisp mountain air and smell of pine trees. The hot tub was so relaxing and is positioned on a private deck with grill for outdoor cooking. The home was equipped with senor lights to help lead your pathway in the middle of the night. A soaker tub in the master bathroom was a perfect treat to relax after hiking. The home had central heat that allowed for us to be comfortable while it was 15 degrees outside. Woody was an amazing person who really cared about making you feel at home. He put a lot of thought into having operation instructions for the remotes, the hot-tub, thermostat, and details of check-in and out of his beautiful home. He even went as far as to give extra directions for me because my daughter gets car sick. He was prompt to respond to any questions, yet gave 100% privacy for you to just enjoy your family time. The home had a little market within a few steps which was great for last minute drinks and snacks. Close to everything and yet quiet and serene so you can relax, I couldn't have asked for a better place or experience, I would 100% recommend this log style home. Woody is the best and cares about his home and your time. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Mountain Lodging just as advertised!
The moment we stepped into Woody's lodge for our two night stay, we knew it was going to be perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. It was very comfortable, lots of attention has been made to make it comfortable and attractive. We had all the supplies we needed. Woody was easy to work with and we had no issues at all. Jacuzzi was great. Short walk to Boulder bay park. Three bedrooms were very comfortable. It is very quiet and instructions for TV and lights were very clear. Cable tv for World Series game was a plus++. Thanks Woody, we really enjoyed!

We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay! This was a working vacation for us as we came up for the Angelica Film Festival. We needed a place to recharge our bodies and minds after a whirlwind week of travel. This rental was warm, clean and beautiful inside and out. The owner is very easy to work with and accommodating. The cabin was very easy to find from the main road and supplies are literally right around the corner. Instructions for everything in the cabin were right on the coffee table along with where to find things in town. We were only a brief ride away from all of the major attractions in Big Bear and walking distance from the water. The evenings were quiet and wonderful with the outdoor hot tub. With my wife, myself and my business partners all in one place I was really expecting a lot of sound to be traveling around the house. However, once you closed your door you couldn’t really hear anything else. That’s a great feature when you have people coming and going on different schedules. The setting is private despite being on a corner lot. There was almost no traffic to disturb us. We had plenty of space to entertain and the living room/dining room open concept is well suited for gatherings. This cabin is a great fit for average size family or three small groups like we had. There is ample sleeping and bathroom space for 6-8 people. This was much better than the last three “luxury hotels” we stayed in. We have bookmarked this cabin. We’re letting you guys know what a great little place this is, so treat it well… because we will be coming back!

Really great experience!
We are family of 4 with 2 kids (8 and 6). We saw the listing, amenities and location (short walk to Boulder Bay). Looked great at good price even though bit larger than we needed. We were overwhelmed by the quality and feel of the place. Property was complete with detailed instructions on operations of hot tub, entertainment center (with surround sound btw) and various light switches. We all loved the ping pong room (kids loved it!). Kitchen and bedrooms had very nice appliances and furniture. Short walk to both Boulder Bay Park and kayak/paddle boarding rentals. Also close to ski resort. The master suite was very nice with nice sized bath tub and shower. Cleanliness was above expectations! The feel and size of the property was very nice - pictures don't do it justice. As it is a town home there is no yard, but there's a balcony and porch deck large enough to hold a hot tub, very nice grill (with burner on side), table/chairs for eating outside, etc. The owner was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had prior to and during our stay. We will be back!

Fantastic place to stay and enjoy Big Bear!!!
Wow!! I was thrilled with the place as soon as we walked through the door. Over stuffed couches and recliners filled the living room. Close to the marina where we pontooned around the lake. We enjoyed ping pong and the hot tub in the evenings. The property has everything you need to be comfortable. Will stay here again.
