We stayed at Isallt Guest House for 6 nights to explore North Wales. We were greated on arrival by Richard Hope, he was friendly and welcoming. It was great to be able to ask a local where the best beaches were. Richard also provided a fantastic evening meal, the food was delicious, you could tell Richard was an experienced chef, no surprise to learn he had previously worThe room was spotless and cleaned daily between 11 and 1. The room had comfortable beds, good facilities with ample storage, a fridge, microwave and hairdryer. Towels were changed as required a sign was clearly displayed in bathroom to explain system. This beautiful Victorian building is situated at the Blaenau Ffestiniog rail station, central location for the many attractions such as the zip world slate mine, beaches, portmerion etc. The village has convenience stores, bakers and selection of takeaway restaurants.
