Muy bonita y buen trato, fue nuestra primera experiencia en Bocas y el hecho de estar en Carenero es un poco incómodo, sin embargo es muy tranquila y sus instalaciones convenientes

Overpriced, rooms are old, no breakfast, owner can’t be bored to open the restaurant, so you need to take a taxi boat into town, or walk through the poor and dirty neighbourhood, definitely a no go at night

Lugar muy bonito
El lugar es muy lindo. La comida que venden (solo viernes, sábados y domingos) estaba muy rica. Los dueños son amables. No está es la isla principal, pero los taxi en lancha cuestan $1,5 y se disfrutan. El único detalle fue que decía que incluía el desayuno y al momento de llegar no fue así, solo lo vendían. Pero guardamos los recibos de pago y al final del viaje tras poner la queja con Hoteles.com, el monto por desayunos fue devuelto. La isla tiene una parte un poco fea, pero al otro lado hay un pequeño sendero con playas bonitas, surf, un mirador y un buen restaurante. Sacar un día para darle la vuelta es una buena idea.

No recomendable!!!
El hotel no cuenta con limpieza de la habitación, las toallas estaban sucias y percudidas, no hay artículos de aseo aparte de eso mi esposa y yo pagamos 80 dólares por una cena de fin de año y llevamos dos personas por que nos vendieron una propuesta de valor pero realmente esta no se cumplió, el servicio al llegar fue aceptable pero solo ese día porque después no se preocupan por el huésped. Realmente no lo recomendamos

Un hotel estéticamente bueno. Facilidades para conseguir un bote para que nos traslade. Ducha en mal estado y sin agua caliente. No tiene servicio de limpieza de habitaciones o por lo menos no lo hicieron con la mía. El señor que nos recibió muy agradable, pero no hablaba español.

Nos trataron de maravilla. Muy buen servicio. La ubicación muy buena, lejos de el ruido de la isla . La.isla Carenero no tiene muchas facilidades por le que le damos puntos extras al hotel por el esfuerzo.

Inexpensive for what you get. I stayed in a private over the water cabin with my own private bathroom. Conveniently close to Bocas Town. Host was friendly, patient, and very helpful. Has its own restaurant and bar, so really no need to go anywhere else. I would rent again.

The website (expedia) photo are very diffrent. Room has a bad odor, noisy ac, and sadly a very poor neighborhood with houses with poverty on a garbage field. All the dirt are floating on the sea. I wish i could read the other comments. Expedia helpdesk didnt help me at all. This is my last trip with expedia, asap its over i will cancell my account!

Ein großer Vorteil ist sicherlich die Lage der Anlage und die schönen, gemütlichen Cabinas, die über das Wasser gebaut sind. Von dort ist man in wenigen Minuten per Wassertaxi in Bocas. Sie fahren fast 24/7. Die gesamte Anlage ist sicherlich schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und der Service war nicht wirklich gut. Abends und auch tagsüber war die Bar/ Restaurant fast immer geschlossen. Bei Nachfrage nach einem Bier … um diese Uhrzeit nicht mehr. Man muss sich also Getränke von Bocas mitbringen, hat aber in den Cabinas keinen Kühlschrank. … unbedingt ein gutes Bugspray (Off) mitbringen, sonst wird es vor den Cabinas sehr ungemütlich, Das Frühstück war Basic, aber gut. Die Ruhe ist fantastisch.

Mug og svamp i brusekabine... Hvis det var rengjort ville der måske ikke lugte så slemt og indelukket. Yderlig var brusehovedet, så tilkalket at man skulle løbe mellem de 5 stråler som kom ud. Udvendigt svarende stedet til forventningerne, men værelset - bestemt ikke prisen værd.

We loved this hotel. The staff are amazing and the location is great; only a 1 minute boat ride from Isla Colon which takes you directly to the hotel. The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a small fridge. A half hour stroll through the friendly neighbourhood and you on the other side of the island. The only thing worth a mention was the air conditioner was a bit noisy but we found the nights were cool enough without it.

Great quiet location. Easily accessable to water taxis to go to any islands. The food and Bloody Marys at Cosmic Crab are so great. We stayed 2 weeks and ate multiple meals here and neither of us had a bad meal. You can't go wrong here with location, food and cocktails.

We stayed three days and the room was not cleaned once. We also dined in the restaurant and would not recommend the lobster. The accommodations themselves were very unique and quaint however seasoned.

The place itself is beautiful and the owner is nice. I enjoyed the view, ac, the comfortable beds and room (i personally find hammocks more comfortable than the wooden chairs they have but it’s a personal preference). The island is gorgeous but FULL of Sandflies which makes it impossible to be outside for more than five minutes. It made me literally SICK, im still coping with the aftermath.

Would absolutely recommend Cosmic Crab for your stay in Bocas del Toro! Opening up our door in the morning directly to the ocean was amazing, and the breakfast each morning was sooo delicious. The owners are always available on property and are super helpful in booking tours, making local recommendations, and making sure your stay is comfortable. They even refunded guests who could not make the trip due to protests that ocuurred Panama during our stay, which is highly commendable and respectable. They truly have the safety and comfort of the guest in mind. Be aware that the rooms on the water are small, as they only have a bed next to the bathroom with no door (only a curtain) separating the two, and that the sand flies can be vicious at night, and that the restaurant is only open on Friday-Sunday, but it's too good of a price and location to pass up! It's only $1 and literally a one-minute boat ride to get to the main island, and all the boat tours pick you up right at the dock of the hotel. We had such an enjoyable stay and miss it already!

We stayed on a waterfront cabin. We stayed here for a night and did’t arrive until sundown. Our cabin was quite warm and musty from the dampness and lack of AC until we arrived. The design is carried throughout in the furnishings inside. Waking up to the water views in the morning was magical. Three things I wish were attended to: A plumbing smell which could be combatted with air fresheners. Only give the towels once guests arrive (as they were musty from the warm damp room before arrival). Complimentary bug spray/cream since we got attacked by sandflies and one of us reacted very poorly a day later without knowing. The family that owns the property is lovely and keeps that pot of complimentary coffee nicely filled in the morning (a nice cup to enjoy with the views).

We stayed four days and there was no room service. We had to put the toilet paper in the trash can and it was never emptied. The beds were never changed or made. There is also no sandy beach around the hotel.

Great location
Great location and fantastic staff, really helpful and welcoming but unfortunately rooms were very basic. Felt like a bit of a shed if I’m honest, sorry. Bed was not comfortable. Didn’t feel that private with the very thin curtains that you could see people walk past.
