Horrible and poor place This was a nightmare after a long road trip. When we arrived first issue was finding parking, not so easy! Second thing was the check in, no checkin! you get a messege with all numbers. Then the room was so fungal ugly!!! Room 10 was horrible and i suggest it to no one!!! It was hot so when we entered the room the window was opened and rain water was dropping onto the pillow but there was no fan to keep cool. We sent a text to the owner asking for an extra towel and was told that tomorrow morning the towels are changed. Room 10 has a bathroom on the other side of the hall pass other rooms but here is no chance of keeping it closed with your items inside. The location was scary for us ladies and we didn't feel safe at all. Instead we didnt even sleep one night here and checked ourselves in a hotel. We had sent the owner telling me we arent staying, he didn't even bother to contact us, instead the money was withdrawn from our account. He never bothered to contact us. Very poor place

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding/ rustig

Geen receptie gezien, maar wel e-mails om met een code in te checken, heel efficiënt. Ontbijt in een café in de buurt, zeker een goede oplossing al er geen keuken beschikbaar is

The hotel was very cosy. The service very good. The hotel is located near the main coach station and the train station. Close to the beach.

First time in a Bed and Breakfast....

It was a very nice trip and the owner was extremely nice and pleasant. He was one of those inn keepers that you could imagine in old time Shakespearean play. Great advice on local information and sites. The only issue I felt I just had to write about is the size of the rooms. I was with a group and I was lucky to choose one of the upper rooms. It was a little more expensive than the smaller rooms, but compared to the other's rooms on the floor below, the difference in price I am glad I paid. Very very tiny rooms. Maybe it is my age and if I were a wild and free 18 year old backpacking across Europe it would be great, but at middle age and being used to Premier Inns and Hilton Gardens, it was a culture shock. The comments about the cleanliness of linen and quality of beds ARE SO TRUE !! The carpets might need to be replaced, but maybe that is the style.

Clean and comfortable but in need of some repair

The room was clean and comfortable but in need of some repair, can't really comment on the staff as we only saw 1 person when we arrived and when we knocked to say goodbye.. Advertised as 24 hour room service when in fact there was none but this could just be due to the time of year, as breakfast was not on offer at this time of year either.

Arrivée vers 15 h 30 et hôtel fermé..j ai attendu qu un client sorte fumer pour me mettre au chaud, mais la réception était fermé . J ai attendu encore 20 minutes avant que le propriétaire arrive . Il avait était Chercher son fils à l école... Par contre très gentil est disponibile... Hôtel vieux, odeurs de moisissure dans le vouloir, par contre grande chambre propre.

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as including breakfast, however, when I checked in I was told that because I booked on line I could not have breakfast unless I paid for it. I consider that I had already paid for breakfast which means they owe me about £49. I asked for the heating to be put on in the shower room but nothing was ever done about it. Although the water from the shower was hot there was not much of it. I was only provided with one very small towel and the bedding was so thin I found it necessary to wear half my day clothes to keep warm in bed.

I found the hosts very amenable. I was on the top floor and my bag was carried up for me. I needed to print a ticket and this was done too without any difficulty or charge which was greatly appreciated.

Simple and Centralised

The room was very basic which is ideal for me and as I was out and about the local area most of the time did not need anything over the top. The owners were very accommodating to any request I had no matter how small. I would just advise they check into your WiFi router settings as it is very weak and can be boosted

Nice hotel in a great area.

The hotel is very nice and clean, with very friendly staff. It's located close to shops, a variety of restaurants and within walking distance from the beach. What more do I need? I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Rubbish run down old dirty tiny rooms

Tiny family room 2 single beds bunk beds tiny shower room shower rubbish just trickled!leaking shower Base!run down!old not clean!£100 a night no breakfast not that would of wanted any! Rubbish spoilt our stay

If u are desperate to stay some where

People very friendly , however the cost was rather a lot for a hotel needing much attention all round. The hotel was very clean generally and the breakfast was good at £7. Fees for check in out side of 8pm or 10pm were ridiculous as the owner only had to walk ten meters to the front door. Charging £10 or £20 for late check in NOT ON REALLY .

Perfect for a short break

While it was not on the seafront, the hotel was located close to shops and other amenities. We didn't need to use the car for the couple of nights we were there as a result which was great. We had a baby with us which the hotel provided a travel cot for saving on extra luggage! The room was comfortable and provided all that we needed.
