Lovely Cabin
We stayed here in February and the cabin was lovely and very clean. The location was excellent, just a a couple of miles from Bretton Woods and Northern Extremes Snowmobiling adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Great White Mountain Base
We enjoyed the cabin and found it to be cute, cozy and clean. The location is great - just down the street from Bretton Woods and close to many hiking options in the area. Our family of 5 (and dog) was comfortable, but larger groups may find the space too cramped given the smaller kitchen and one bathroom. Trails on the property are a great perk and nicely maintained. Overall great stay!

Amazing cabin weekend!
My husband, two boys, parents and two dogs just stayed for a few nights in the Bear Cabin. We’ve made a tradition of booking weekends away at various cabins, mostly in New Hampshire. This stay far exceeded our expectations! Nicest cabin we have ever stayed at. We loved the fire pit and hot tub, and the well groomed walking path to the river. My boys (7 & 8 yrs) loved the little bed coves in the loft area. This property is nestled into the snow capped mountains, which provide a spectacular view! We learned that Alex, the owner who lives in a gorgeous log home on the property, manages over 100 properties in the area. Knowing now the quality of his rentals, I would confidently seek out his properties in the future. 10/10!

Winter Wonderland
Wonderful place tuck in away from the Highway. Really close to Bretton Woods Ski Area but feels Like your far away from the crowds. Hot Tub was a hit!

Terrific location
The property location is spectacular with view of Bretton Woods west mountain. The property itself is beautiful. Trails were an easy walk even in a foot of new snow. Close to the mountain and Crawford Notch hiking. The house itself is as advertised- warm and comfortable with everything we needed!

Another Family Ski Trip
We loved the cabin and the setting. It was peaceful and beautiful. The hiking trails were a lot of fun. And more than 2' of fresh snow just topped it off. Wonderful! We've been coming with our family for more than 40 years. This year our 4-year old grandson learned to ski.

Amazing Stay!
We had the best time! We went for our friends birthday to relax and have some fun by the river and fire pit... and of course nature. This place was amazing :) The space outside with the fire pit was done so well. The trail to the river was clean and easy to follow. Everything was just perfect, the space was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful. The river was a blast - I would totally recommend bringing water shoes! The water was so clear but there were small rocks and sand - so it was super helpful to have water shoes! I can't wait to come back to this little slice of heaven. The attention to detail was much appreciated - 100% an A++ Stay!

Bear Cabin is "Just Right"!
Bear Cabin was perfect for our getaway to hike the White Mountains and leaf-peep in Fall 2020. After a full day sightseeing, we appreciated the small trails around the cabin for a walk at dusk. Fun, tasteful bear themed furnishings throughout the cabin. Also, for families with kids, a loft area with sleeping "cubbies" for kids and dogs. A rare find.

Great cabin in the woods!
Loved the cabin. Beds could have been better and could have used some kindling for the wood stove but otherwise, an excellent cabin!

Hi Phil, Thank you for your comments! There should be fire starters for the wood stove, which don't require kindling. I will make sure to leave clearer instructions! I'm not sure about the beds... they are all new mattresses (less than 2 years old!), so it may be a preference in soft vs firm... but please do contact us with further details if it's something different so that we can make sure it's addressed! We haven't received any complaints regarding the beds and we find them comfortable so I wasn't sure. Thanks! --Alex

Delightful Modern Cabin
We really enjoyed the Bear Cabin. Clean, comfortable and modern. A great wood stove that created warms and ambiance. The proximity to the river was wonderful. Aslo you can see Bretton Woods ski mountain from the front door. All in, the property is quite nice and convenient to local attractions. I highly recommend all of their properties.

Our only regret is that we were only there 2 days! The area was amazing, the cabin was modern with all the amenities you need, yet felt like a homey cabin in the woods! We would definitely like to visit again when we can stay longer!!

We had a wonderful time. Alex was very helpful and welcoming. The roperty is beautiful.
We had one of the best rental experiences in this area in the Bear cabin. The owners, Alex and Aaron were very hospitable and helpful. The property had great trails out back for hiking and snowshoeing with our daughter and dog. It was also conveniently located to many of our favorite skiing and hiking spots. The cabin was comfortable and well maintained. We had a great vacation and plan to return again whenever we visit this area. Highly recommend the cabins at this property, or any property maintained by Alex and Aaron.

LOCATION! Perfect white mountains getaway!
If you are looking to explore the White Moutains, I’d highly recommend this place! The cabin location is perfect and so close to many attractions! The cabin itself is absolutely adorable and decorated so cute! We stayed with our 4 and 2 year old and they absolutely loved the built-in little cubbies/beds upstairs to play around in. We stayed here the beginning of October, but think this would make an ideal location year round. A definite must stay and we hope to return soon! Can’t wait to see the new cabin finished, looks like it is going to be gorgeous!

Great Location
Perfect location, close to ski slopes. We were able to run home to let the dog out and have lunch and go back to the slopes for the afternoon. Kids loved the loft area. So nice to sort of be tucked away from it all in the woods, but close to everything at the same time. They do need to change the timing of a pump that ran one night around 1am (scared me to death, but I am a light sleeper) and there were dead black carpenter ants I had to sweep up each morning b/c of the traps that were put out (which were working). Relatively clean, I had to clean the floor twice when we first got there b/c our socks were turning brown on the bottom, maybe just not great maid service prior to our arrival. But owners were very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

We always want to make sure that our guests have a fantastic stay in every way, and we apologize for missing that mark with the cleaning for your rental. As a new unit, there are a few kinks we need to work out. We have already taken care of resolving this spring's ant issue, and have reached out to our water filtration company to assist us with changing the time that the filters run. They will set them to run in the middle of the day on alternating schedules, which should minimize disturbances. We also have discussed the issue of floor cleanliness with our cleaning team. It seems like it might be related to a new product that they used, so we asked them to be extra careful. The floor is a reclaimed organic wood floor, so it may be a bit different from what they are used to. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and will be using it to make sure we avoid these concerns for future guests! We have provided a cleaning refund and future stay discount so that we can hopefully have the opportunity to show you how great of a job we can do! Cozy, clean luxury log cabin with lots of character!
Stayed here for a ski weekend at Bretton Woods with 2 couples, 2 kids and a dog. We loved it! The location is about 3 minute drive away from the ski slopes, but completely isolated and surrounded by beautiful trees. Great property to walk around right near a river. The cabin has everything you need and the cozy extra touches to make you want to come back. We loved the stove fireplace at night. The kids loved the bunk beds... and can’t wait to be old enough to sleep in the kid beds in the loft. This place was immaculate...very clean. As an allergy sufferer, I appreciated how well this place is maintained - no issues at all. The owners were great to communicate with. We’ll be back! Can’t wait to see this property in the summer / fall!

Beautiful cabin, perfect location!
We loved our stay at this beautiful and unique cabin. Everything was spotless and new, and the beds were quite comfortable. It was nice being so close to Bretton Woods that you could look out and see one of our favorite ski trails (Waumbek). The highlight for the kids was the loft, that felt.like a treehouse! There were also great trails to explore just outside the front door for us and our dog. The owners were always available for any questions and were so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this cabin!

Gorgeous cabin in BrettonWoods
Had super time skiing here in Dec- Cabin is spotless and beautiful. Well secluded from US302 (at least 1/4 mile in on a private winding driveway). The grounds have plenty of woods and trails for the kids to explore... highly, highly recommend. Alex was a super help as well.
