The staff member (I think he might have been the owner) was very friendly and accommodating. it was a quiet area and relaxing. a short journey to the airport via shuttle. i would stay here again.

I have stayed at Airpor Clayfield many times. Very convenient for those needing access to the airport. Especially when arriving late or leaving at stupid oclock

We loved the easy check in, clean roomy room and shuttle to airport. Disappointed that there was no shuttle to pick us up at airport as shuttle was our only search criteria

The staff were very friendly. They responded quickly to queries before the stay and were really helpful. The room was neat and clean and there was plenty of free parking and there was a shuttle to get to the airport.

Service was above and beyond. They were helpful with all our requests, and there were many. Lots of suggestions and help with our travel and transportation needs. I did not ask for special food, but at breakfast the next morning there was gf bread specifically labeled for my use.

This has all of your basic needs. Clean, comfortable room, within walking distance to public transportation and restaurants, and free parking. The price is reasonable as well. Definitely recommend this place!

Great accommodation, comphy bed, good position, nice people. The only issue was that we were on the third floor, sore knees don't like 3rd floors for stairs. The room was a treat, very clean, large, and spacious, with all amenities and a few nice surprises. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and our luggage was taken care of up and down from our room. Would recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area, easy access to the airport and cruise terminal.

Great place if you want to stay near the airport for an early morning flight.The place could do with an updating. Choices of places to eat are nearby. Good facilties. The lift for luggage was handy and good idea.

Functional for overnight stay. Expedia advertised as having free airport shuttle. However, there is no inbound airport pickup, period. Had to spend AUD 40 for shared ride for two to get to the property. Requested shuttle to airport (restricted hours 0700 to 1000) but not available on public holiday. Had to call taxi costing a further AUD28.10. Question: Who will reimburse me the AUD68.10? Free airport shuttle does not mean one way shuttle or restricted availability. Answer please. I have been misold.

With regards to the shuttle service I have copied and pasted the information directly from our website which has been current for 9 years now.MOTEL TO AIRPORTSHUTTLE SERVICE Airport Clayfield Motel offers a free of charge airport drop off shuttle service (excluding public holidays).The service runs daily from 6:45am to 9:45am (excl public holidays) to drop guests to the Domestic and International airport terminals.This service can be reserved upon check in, or if arriving after hours, in advance.Our Shuttle does not take Surf Boards, Bikes, Golf Clubs or Ski Bags (basically anything other than suitcases and hand luggage). They offer a free shuttle to the airport. The room was large and comfortable. The pool was refreshing on a hot summer day. Good restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.

Great location and just what we needed for one night. A bit concerned that there were no safety barriers on the windows. Small children could easily get out and fall 2 floors! I have a sleepwalker in the family so this worried me a bit. Comfy beds and good amenities m.
