Bucket List
The weekend was perfect for our friend who has cancer. She wanted to go fishing one last time (we are hoping for many more) and we made that happen in the most perfect spot. We fished from the bank at the house, at the state park and at the spillway. It was beautiful and perfect. Thank you!!!

River Otter Cabin
An amazing cabin with a great view of the river. The cabin is perfect for getting away. It is peaceful and tranquil setting. The cabin is very comfortable. Your host is very sweet and communicated with us very well. This was our second stay in this cabin and we plan on reserving it again. Overall a 5 star experience.

Beautiful Location
It was so easy to check in and the managers responded to every question (and we had a lot) very promptly. It was a peaceful cabin with lovely views, a well-stocked kitchen, and a great place to use the complimentary kayaks. Highly recommend.

Cabin w/ a beautiful view from every room.
Had a great stay. Cabin was well appointed, beds were comfortable and wildlife abundant. Two nights we found about a dozen deer grazing on acorns in the front drive. Excellent communication w/ owner and directions on point. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Fall Getaway!
Our stay at this beautiful cabin far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we knew this was a special place. The cabin itself is imaculate and equipped with everything imaginable. The property is massive and spotless. Every bedroom has a walk-out with a view of the river. We could see turltes swimming and playing and fish swimming by. We had an amazing weekend and would highly reccomend staying here for a family bonding weekend as we did, or as a romantic getawy as a couple. The hosts are wonderful and we will definitely be back sometime soon!

Adults getaway!
We stayed for just 2 days and it was great!! The owners even helped us start a fire on our second night. River was great, we had fun kayaking. Outdoor area is perfect for hanging out! We definitely plan on coming back!

Secluded and Amazing Cabin on the River
This cabin is amazing! Being able to kayak and swim in the river on your own time and not through a kayak or float company makes this cabin a must to stay at in Broken Bow. The weather was great and the cabin was so quiet and cozy. We had the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of work and day to day life. I can’t recommend this cabin enough! Just book it now!

Great getaway
Our family had a great time at this paradise on the river. We fished, kayaked, floated on tubes and had corn hole and connect four tournaments. The 8-mile kayak trek though the rock gardens and falls was awesome. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need and Dana and Russell were a pleasure to meet. We hope to come back soon for more wonderful family time!

Wonderful retreat
I do not have the words to say how much this place meant to us. Going through challenging times and lots of changes in family dynamic right now so this place allowed us to reconnect and rekindle our relationships. It was a peaceful place of retreat. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you would need except spices so bring your own! The outdoor activities were wonderful and tranquil. It was just so restorative to all of us. We will definitely return! Comfortable beds, plenty of room and lots to do from walking to swimming to kayaking to fishing...and s'mores at the firepit. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing.

Absolutely gorgeous property, backs right up to a massive, but quiet river. There are other cabins really close to you but we didn’t hear any neighbors all weekend. Host is a sweetheart! We will for sure be coming back here! Perfect weekend getaway.

Great place for couples!
My two sisters and our husbands stayed here for a long weekend. It was perfect for relaxing and visiting. Our husbands enjoyed paddling the kayaks up the river. We had everything that we needed right there in the cabin!

Wonderful Weekend
Stayed four nights at this great place. All you need to bring is food and drink because Dana has taken care of the rest! Wonderfully furnished and equipped, and close enough to the river that you can stand on the deck and see the fish in the clear Mountain Fork river below. Highly recommended.

Very quiet, relaxing stay. Cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed. Owner was a very nice lady. She helped with getting the oar and life jacket for the kayak plus gave directions for the best route to take. She lives next door, but is definitely not intrusive.

Need to get away from the city, your problems, or reality in general? This is the place. Dana runs a great cabin in the woods, the river is beautiful, and the area has everything you need to chill out. The bedrooms were cozy and huge, and it had every amenity you need. Definitely returning.
