Nice weekend getaway for a couple

Just what I needed
Schelley was a fabulous hostess and everything in the rental was just as described and in the photos. I felt like family from the first time we met, the unit was spotless, and it had everything I needed and more. I have already passed her card on to friends and family and will be back myself again in the future. Thanks Schelley!!! It was great meeting you! :-)

Great Getaway
Great getaway if you are looking for quiet place relatively close to the beach. St simons is only a short (20 min) drive away. Owner’s dogs are super friendly. Great outdoor space to sit and relax as the tides go in and out. The only drawback is the bathroom area. The toilet is in a tight spot and the shower is small. I would still stay here again tho. Best sheets I’ve ever slept on as well.

Great visit!
First VRBO trip. The house was perfect for us. Close to the beaches. We didn’t need the kitchen bc we wanted to explore the local restaurants. It appeared well stocked. I highly recommend for a quick trip!

Cozy Cottage
This was the perfect getaway for our 13th anniversary. The cottage and location was ideal for relaxation and fun. Everything was close and easy to access. Schelley was attentive and always available. Would definitely stay again

South Georgia Island fun
My daughter and I stayed at this location for a few nights to visit Jekyll Island. We absolutely loved this rental! It was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. The location is convenient for island hopping. Highly recommend! We hope to return soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice and beautifully decorated
The guest house was well laid out and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for an extended stay. The bed was comfortable. The view from the the sliding glass door overlooked the marsh. We saw racoons in the trees. Shelley was a joy to meet and kept in communication with us from the time we booked and was available through our stay. We would recommend to anyone.

Everything here was just right. Clean and comfortable with a beautiful view and easy access to Jekyll Island. Can’t wait to go back … and still thinking about that fried shrimp dinner I had up the road… Thanks again for that tip.

Wonderful stay and excellent host!
My husband and I came down to the Golden Isles for our 30th anniversary and had a wonderful time exploring Brunswick, St Simons and Jekyll Island. Shelly's property is located close to everything, we enjoyed breakfast out on the patio every morning. Occasional morning visit with Shelly and her pups talking about our upcoming day which she provided valuable info on local attractions and restaurants to try. The cottage was perfect for us and we enjoyed a walk around the lovely neighborhood one afternoon. Would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Getaway for Hubby and me.
When we arrived, the property looked better than the pictures. The view is great, and everything is conveniently within 2 miles. The room was larger than we anticipated, and the Host is just a sweetheart. We will be going back, WE LOVE IT.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay
We could not have asked for a more comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Our host was so very friendly and had the place stocked with everything one could ever need along with great recommendations for restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The back yard was amazingly tranquil and relaxing. Plus our little dog was made so very welcome! I wish I could rate this way higher than 5 stars!!!

A perfect studio in Brunswick
This was a perfect studio for myself, my wife and our dog. It was well appointed and actually more spacious than appears online. We especially appreciated the large screen door for fresh air and direct access to the large backyard. The yard itself is quite inviting, with plenty of space for the dog to roam and a palapa with 2 hammocks for relaxing. The location was also ideal for us. It's a quick and easy 10 minute drive to the bridges that take you into St Simons Island and Jekyll Island. And it's only an hour south of Savannah and an hour north or Fernandina Beach; we made several day trips to both locations. The neighborhood is also safe and inviting; a residential area with large oak trees lining the streets and interesting homes (if you're into architecture). Lastly, the owner, Schelley, was one of the best hosts I've encountered in my numerous VRBO travels. She is very timely with her responses and clearly is concerned that her guests have an enjoyable stay. I am already looking to rebook for next year!

Perfect and great for our dog too
This is an excellent location for daily trips to island beaches, activities, and restaurants. This is essentially a studio apartment with everything you need at the ready. We never used the gigantic TV but we cooked and did a load of our own laundry. If you forget something, you might find it is already stocked in the rental! It’s an interesting spot in itself with eclectic decor and a tidal creek at the edge of the yard. Schelley is a super friendly host and she does a great job keeping things organized. We would definitely stay here again in the future. I would choose this over an overpriced island rental any day!

Laid back
Laid back. Actually felt like home. We had a dog a she also enjoyed. Beautiful neighborhood. Sat on the gazebo at night. Fantastic huge T.V. would definitely recommend.

Great location!
We traveled to several of the surrounding islands and this property was in an awesome location....the center of everything! It was a great size for the two of us and everything was as advertised! The owner had great communication with us...would stay there again!

Peaceful
This little efficiency is simply lovely! I traveled with my little dog and we both loved it. Great yards for walking and beautiful view of tidal creek. Quiet, private, was just what I needed. Was also stocked with all sorts of extras in the kitchen and bath in case you forgot anything. Schelley was so friendly and accommodating. I hope to go back again!

Wonderful and cozy place
When looking for places to stay, this unit offered a lot for a very reasonable price. The property location is wonderfully positioned close to St Simmons and Jekyll Islands. The property itself was very spacious and cozy, felt like home. Schelley was a wonderful host, excellent communication throughout the whole process from the moment we booked the property, at check in, and upon check out. We will definitely being staying at her place again!
