El establecimiento es muy moderno y esta totalmente reformado, lo negativo eran las almohadas muy incomodas y nuestra habitacion daba a la carretera, por lo que se escuchaba mucho el trafico. Desayuno muy limitado.

No esta lejos del centro y de algunos de los sitios de interés pero realmente se encuentra en una vía tipo carretera debes coger el bus para todo.

Very nice family hotel.
Very nice hotel in short distance from old town. bus station 150 m from the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Somewhat oldish decoration but very clean and we loved it. The only downside is that it's located on a main road. They did give us a room facing the side but yet you could not open the window because of the noise.

The hotel was only a walking distance to the Budapest Congress Center. And not too far to the City Center. The staff were helpful, I have a good experience in the Hotel. The room was tidy, the bathroom was always clean. The bed was always fixed when we came back to the hotel. I can suggest to my friends to stay at Gold Hotel Budapest,

Ottimo per rapporto qualità/prezzo,diverse fermate bus molto vicine e ben collegato con qualsiasi posizione.Volendo si può raggiungere il centro o le terme anche a piedi in 15/20 minuti.Buona ed abbondante la colazione anche se sempre con le stesse cose,in ogni caso di buona qualità.Migliorabili sicuramente le pulizie in tutto l’albergo e la qualità della biancheria,di scarsa quantità.Giudizio tutto sommato sicuramente positivo

Der er INGEN mulighed for parkering!
Hotellet fejlede ikke noget - det er lidt slidt, men rent. Men vi havde booket hotellet grundet mulighed for parkering - som vi også havde mailet hotellet om så vi var sikre. MEN - det var alligevel ikke en mulighed - og vi måtte parkere 1.2 km fra hotellet - det er ikke ok. Desværre havde vi betalt for opholdet på forhånd - ellers havde vi fundet et andet hotel hvor parkering VAR en mulighed.

Although you may have indicated to the hotel that you need parking place, they have indicated, that they may not have parking place by the hotel only near to the hotel. They cant book parking place in advance is is always upon availability so if yu arrive later, you may not have parking place at the hotel if it is full. Thank you for your understanding.

Good customer service, breakfast was ok but could do with more variety, clean however our room wasn't swept on one of the days as particles from the day before were still on the floor. Room and toilet are in good condition. Good location away from city noise but close enough to walk.

Dont stay there.
When reaching the hotel we found the room to be somewhat clean, could have been cleaner. There is a minibar, but you are not allowed to use it to put water in. There is not even a kettle in the room for coffee/ tea, let alone any means of heating up food. There's nowhere in the close area (10 minutes walk) to eat aside from a strip bar, and no grocery store. After a day we noticed water coming through the window. When a loud and drunken party came in to one of the floors (unluckily it was ours) the entire floor was awakened at 2AM and there were shouting and singing for over 30 minutes before it stopped. The closest bus/train stop is also 10 minutes walk, so you have to use taxis (or walk a lot). there's nothing to see in the vicinity, its an old residential part of the city. After 3 out of 10 days we decided to leave the place.

Please let me thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Budapest. Surly there are many misunderstandings, which we need to improve in our communication. The minibar can be used freely, there are no limitations at all. We do not have kettle in the rooms and we do not advertise it in our description. We have a kettle-table at the reception, which can be used 24 hrs, and free kettles can be requested at the reception at any time. There are 3 restaurants nereby, 1 to the left, 1 to the right and 1 up the hill, all of them 5-10 minutes walk. Grocery store is 5 minutes to the left, an Aldi 7 minutes walk and a big shopping mall (MOM) can be reached within 15 minutes. The windows must be closed in order to keep rain outside. According to our houserules, no noise can be made after 22.00 o'clock. It is important to report the noise at the reception and the receptionist has the skills to stop the troublemakers. The closest bus station is 100 meters to the right. The Citadel is 10 minutes walk, the Buda castle is 20 minutes, downtown Pest is 2 bustops, buses come every 10 minutes. Our reception is open 24 hrs and all receptionist are helpful and ready to answer questions and requests.We hope to welcome you again in Budapest.

Beim Buchen stand, dass in der Unterkunft Frühstück verfügbar sei. Vor Ort kam dann heraus, dass dies nicht der Fall war. Man konnte für ein paar Groschen ein Croissant kaufen und umsonst Kaffee oder Tee trinken, das ist jedoch nach meinem Verständnis kein Frühstück… Auch wurde in der Unterkunft sehr sparsam mit Toilettenpapier umgegangen - pro Tag eine kleine Rolle.

Good area, close to the city Center, bus station just minutes away. Decent room, kinda small but clean. Unfortunately no breakfast, just yesterday’s croissant. Not necessarily cheap, but it was right before new year’s holiday so it’s justified.

В целом отель хороший. Понравилось расположение (до основных достопримечательностей (напр., Будайской крепости, г.Геллерт не более 1,5км), а также завтраки - достаточно большой ассортимент продуктов. Недостатки на мой взгляд: 1. У меня был номер на первом этаже прям рядом с ресепшн - и было достаточно шумно; очень слышно, как администратор общался с постояльцами и персоналом. Но хотелось бы тут же отметить хорошую шумоизоляцию окон - несмотря на близость достаточно оживленной улицы, машин практически не было слышно. 2. Шампунь/гель для душа в тубах очевидно разбавленные! Их невозможно использовать. 3. Платная питьевая вода. Хм...в отеле 4 звезды, серьезно?))) Не хочет отель делать комплимент своим гостям(( Для 4-5 дней пребывания в Будапеште отель можно рекомендовать.

Am Empfang sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer gut eingerichtet, ebenso das Bad. Guter Service ! Das Frühstück war nicht so üppig wie in anderen Hotels, aber qualitativ sehr gut mit einigen ungarischen Besonderheiten. Sehr schön gelegen am Fuße des Gellert-Berges mit guter Anbindung zu Bus und Straßenbahn. Hat alles gut gepasst !

We spent a week in Budapest and our stay at the Gold Hotel made it delightful. The staff is friendly, helpful and very responsive to any needs.The hotel has been beautifully renovated. It does front a very busy Budapest thoroughfare, but the windows are surprisingly sound dampening. Breakfast was basic, but had a lot of choices. The location is close to bus transit, which is delightfully easy to use, as well as convenient. If you want an authentic stay, outside the touristy areas, this hotel is a real find.

Overall we well enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the mounting on the shower head which kept spraying to the shower door. Always fought not to let the bath floor get too wet. Still a nice hotel. The staff is very courteous. This was our second stay in two years. The walk to Buda castle is about 20 to 25 minutes. The Hop on Hop off bus goes to the Citadel which is near the hotel. Suggest buying a pass for the bus.

12Juni bis 14. Juni. Mein Zimmer im 4. Stock hatte ein gleichmaessig wechselndes Brummen im Zimmer, Wasser tropfte aus der Klima die Wand herunter auf meine Jacke, Schulter bis zum Armende war nass!! Meine Wunsch umzuziehen wurde verneint da angeblich ausgebucht. Die erste Nacht sehr wenig geschlafen wegen Brummen. Monteuer war frueh um 7:30 schon an der Klima beschaftigt. Er repariert die Klima aber das Brummen war nach wie vor da. Soweit so gut, in der Nacht zum Freitag, 1:00 bis 2:30 gab es einen Streit auf dem Flur nahe meinem Zimmer zwischen einer Gruppe Englaender. Ca. 3 Std Schlaf sind wehr wenig wenn man arbeitstechnisch unterwegs ist und eigentlich fuer Ruhe bezahlt hat. Taxi am naechsten Morgen dauerte ca 1 Std. Alles in allem sehr schlechte Beurteilung! Great hotel and great location
Great hotel, great location, walking distance to all the Buda points of interest and the baths. Not many local restaurants but we had a really great meal at the Janos restaurant in Hotel Charles very close by. Very easy to get buses or taxi's if you're not up to walking. The only negative is that the road is very busy so there is some traffic noise in the rooms at the front of the hotel. Having the window open overnight is not an option. Reception staff were great and very friendly, even when we arrived at 1:30 am!
