With the chill in the air, we snuggled in to play video games, board games, and build Lego sets. The kitchen became a center for crafting, playing cards and eating warm meals. We built a fire, had an Easter egg hunt and kicked around a soccer ball. As always, we had a blast enjoying the porch and the view of the pond! An excellent time was had by all! Thanks for the opportunity to stay and play, once again!

Annual getaway
We've used this host twice, but outgrew the farmhouse. I found this larger cabin, then was pleased to find that it was the same host. This space was huge for our growing family (14 of us from 10 months to 71 years). We happened to be there during a cold snap, so didn't use the generous outdoor space, other than to admire the beauty of the landscape in the snow. The pool table got a lot of use. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. Other than missing the animals at the farmhouse, the consensus was that they liked this one better. This trip was our annual getaway during the long MLK weekend. It's hard to predict a year out, coordinating 4 households, but I suspect we'll be back.

Winter Wonderland
My friends and I stayed here in December. Place was incredible! So much room and it snowed the whole time, so it was so pretty! In addition, when we locked the bedroom door behind us on accident, the owner went out of his way to let us back in in a timely manner. Absolutely recommend!

Great Vacation
Excellent stay! Very nice cabin. Plenty of room for eight adults. Very private. Plenty of dishware for all your cooking needs. The downstairs bar area and pool table was a huge bonus. Especially for getting out of the summer heat. Fishing was okay. We cause several small bass. There were a lot of bluegill, sunfish. No sign of catfish. Overall, it was a greats stay!

Bachelor Party
We held a small bachelor party get together for my buddy. We wanted to be close to Mohican to canoe. We weren’t able to go due to weather but being in this cabin saved our trip. We had plenty of space to hangout and enjoy ourselves. It has a huge property where we went fishing. The basement was perfect with a bar and pool table. We will definitely recommend and come back again. We appreciate the owner responding to all of our questions. Thanks again

3rd family retreat
This is our 3rd time staying- upstairs was cooler than other 2 times. First thing we all noticed was new fire pit area. I had just had back surgery so couldn’t sleep in bed- a recliner would have been nice- but that’s just me. My sister also noticed kitchen was organized. Looking forward to a 4th Retreat!

Family Friendly
We love this cabin! We love fishing in the pond for sunfish and blue gill… and we caught a huge large-mouth bass this time! We have so much room to play in at this property. The spacious porch with all the porch swings and rocking chairs provided a relaxing area to rock out and talk. The fire-pit is an evening gem for hot dog grilling and s’mores galore! We love this cabin!

Family vacation
The Mason family ( Oma and Grandps, 4 adult children and 5 yr old twin grands stayed for 4 nights. The grandchildren caught their fitst fish! The pond was a hig snd the huge front porch with swings and rockers was awesome. Since pictures from when first bookec a paved patio and firepit were added...and well used! We had a wonderful time. The AC was super cold on basement lrvdl and no vents ontop level, but doors were left open at top, and there was a space heater to warm up room in basemrnt before putting 5 yr olds to bed. In future improvements it would help to insulate between the floors. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had the best stay with family and friends! The lodge was so beautiful and plenty of space for our group celebrating the Bride to Be!! Very secluded but close enough to spend a day floating down the Mohican river! Will deff stay again!

What the doctor ordered!
What a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and very inviting. Very well maintained and had everything we needed for the stay. We spent a evenings down by the fire pit, afternoons playing family games or in the yard, and mornings fishing the very well stocked pond (side note... Didn't think I would need my fishing net. I did. There is a very large catfish in there that broke my 15 lb test off trying to get it on shore.) Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle of life, and wanting to reconnect with family and friends.

Amazing, we didn’t want to leave
Beautiful well maintained 12 acres. Pond was packed with fish with no seaweed or algae. Two of the kids with us caught their very first fish there. Paddle boat and a canoe were provided at waters edge. The lodge had some minimal wear and tear from frequent use, but was absolutely beautiful inside and out and well decorated with country cabin decor. AC worked great in the mid 80s while we were there. We over packed because nearly everything was in the lodge and provided. Patio and fire pit looked to be recently added and were super nice since the basement door was right there for basement bathroom or cold beers from the mini fridge at the basement bar without having to go upstairs. I would stay again for sure, the whole family had an amazing time and the place was just as advertised. If the host, Shane, ever reads these….thanks for a great family trip.

Great Family Friendly Experience
Wonderful cabin with plenty of space! The down stairs pool table, bar and open area gave plenty of room for the glow-in-the-dark dance party. The fire pit is perfect for s’mores, roasting hotdogs and socializing. My children love the two toy closets and the board games they find while visiting. The stocked pond remains a family favorite no matter when we visit!

Log Cabin
We stayed in the log cabin with many other guests, it was perfect for a multi family getaway. It was about 15-20 minutes away from snow trails where we went snowboarding. We enjoyed a lot of family bonding time, it was a great experience. we all highly recommend.

I cannot think of anything bad to say about this property or the experience! It was exactly what I hoped for and more! Needs attention
Paddle boat is in poor shape, unusable really. Cooling system is single zone. Those sleeping in the basement were freezing, the ONE bedroom on main floor was comfortable, and everyone upstairs were sweating to death. Could have opened windows if there were screens in them. I know it’s not req’d, but house is not ADA friendly. Elderly mother had no place to shower as there are no grab bars and it’s not a walk-in. Furniture is pretty worn out with multiple armrests crushed in. I had to scrub nearly all of the kitchen items before preparing our first meal due to stuck on food remaining. I went through a lot of foil to cover most pans. BTW, the gas stove would not stay lit on low settings and coincidentally, neither would the gas grill on the deck. We abandoned it and finished cooking the food in the kitchen that we were hoping to have gotten to grill on the deck while socializing with everyone. The deck was nice with plenty of seating, but not enough to bring us back. Wish it would have been better!

Fantastic Fun!
We love this property with its awesome scenery and wildlife, it is the perfect place to relax. The porch is filled with rockers, the pond is stocked with bluegill and bass. We love the kitchen/ great room combination with room for everyone. The fire pit is perfect for cooking up hotdogs and s'mores galore! A great place for family and friends to relax and reconnect!

We loved the extra outdoor space that this property provides. The new fire pit is great! The cabin was clean and comfortable, kitchen was well- equipped. Fishing in the pond was also fun, only suggestion is to work on the boats (canoe had one broken seat and only one paddle). Definitely recommend, we would stay here again!

We love Babble Brook Cabin! We fish! We make s'mores! We hang out on the awesome porch! Awesome!
Such a great place for friends and family to gather in a secluded spot! With the spacious setting, pond and pool table, there is room for entertaining everyone. We grilled out, made s'mores, cast-a-line, shot some pool and relaxed on the beautiful rocker-filled porch. Everyone from the nine year old to the eighty-nine year old loved it! Thank you!

Awesome place!
This is a great place to bring your family. Very quiet and comfortable. The kids got to see deer everywhere, they fished (most of them for the first time) and the fish were abundant. But the canoe and paddleboat were favorites by far for the kids. Thanks to you guys for a great rental lodge!

What a great, authentic log cabin!
We loved the cabin and the property. Jumped in the paddleboat when we first got there-fun. Loved the great room, the kitchen was well equipped and the basement sports bar was cool! Spent a lot of time inside on one of the days and that was just fine. We had light steady rain and being on the covered porch was nice. Bedrooms comfortable, everything was great!

We had the best stay at the cabin!
We are already planning next year’s trip. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. It slept 5 couples easily. We really enjoyed the downstairs game room and bar as well as the main living area next to a warm fire. It was perfect!

Beautiful location! The place was just as described. The bedrooms worked great and were very comfortable. The kitchen had a great variety of utensils, pots, pans, glasses, plates and more. Snowed while we were there and found a sled in garage! Very nice place, close to ski lodge and about 45 minutes from Amish country.
