The good …. The pool and boat dock area are amazing! Definitely a highlight of our stay. Scenic and very relaxing. The rest …. We were disappointed in the overall state of the house. Decent but the house is more dated than the pictures let on. Numerous furnishings and cabinets had broken doors, handles, etc. Dishwasher would not fully open, thanks to an odd design where a cabinet handle prevented it from being fully opened. We were told by the property manager the handle wasn’t supposed to be on the drawer and that the handyman must have placed it back on. We took the handle off so we could use the dishwasher. When we went to eat breakfast the morning after we checked in, we found numerous dishes in the cupboards dirty. The solution to all of these issues we reported was to take time from our vacation and wait for a handyman to fix everything. We just opted to live with it. After reporting those issues, we found sheets that had stains on one of the beds. We also noticed possible water damage on the master bedroom ceiling. We ended up leaving a day early. We used to own a vacation rental in Cape Coral and know it’s possible to have a miss when it comes to cleaning but other issues just weren’t acceptable.

Your own PARADISE

The most well stocked rental home we have ever had. Beautiful from top to bottom inside and out. Fishing in the canal, my 11-year-old loved. Kayaking in the canal was stunning at sunrise and sunset. Even saw a manatee swimming up and down the canal. Look no further but this one! We will stay here again on our next trip down to Florida everything was perfect. The saltwater pool was a saver for three of my family members suffer from eczema and did not have any issues at all with the pool, which was extremely warm like a bath and fun to plan and relax.

Pool but no swimming allowed.

The house was as advertised. Problem was that the pool was not fit to use. One swim resulted in swimmers itch. So value was not what we paid for. Frustrating that we pay And then we do not get what we paid for. Fixing it for the next renters sounds good. How are we made whole? Some adjustment is warranted.

Fabulous spot for a getaway

My family and I fell in love with this place. The house is wonderful and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We loved the layout. The lanai, pool and dock is where we spent 90% of our time. Such a beautiful setting! We would love to come back again.

Wonderful time

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The house is nice with a well stocked kitchen. The Lanai and pool were wonderful. That is where we spent most of our time. We had a few minor issues, but the management company took care of them timely. The only negative was the hot tub. Its was dirty! They sent a man out to clean it and it looked ok after he left. As soon as we turned on the jets, all kinds of dirt and black spots came out. Web decided not to use it. I think it needs a major maintenance overhaul.

Enjoyed our stay.

Wasn’t sure I would like it when we saw the outside of the house but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered as to how great this house is. The bed in the primary room was extremely comfortable. The patio and pool were fantastic. This house had everything we needed and more to make our stay enjoyable. We had a few problems with the pool heat and the operation of the hot tub but the property manager was quick to respond. We would be definitely rent again..

Beautiful Home

Great place for my family to stay! Very clean and well stocked with towels. Easy check in and check out. The only issues we had were communication with Vacasa. They were extremely slow at responding to emails and VRBO messages. I’d suggest only calling them.

Great house in a great location!

My husband and I stayed at this rental in February. The house and pool were great and the house was well stocked with all of the items we needed. The only issue was the hot tub was not working when we arrived and it did not work the entire time we stayed (about 3 weeks). We were very disappointed as the pool and hot tub were two of the main reasons we booked this rental. Thats also the reason we could not give it a five star rating. Other than the hot tub the house was beautiful, the pool was awesome and the location was close to everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the burrowing owls across the street and one day dolphins even came up the canal to feed. If only the hot tub had worked the house would have been perfect!

Overrun by iguanas

Beautiful and relaxing home but we were unable to use the outside because of all the iguanas (at least a dozen) everywhere and the hot tub would never heat up so couldn’t use.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay on Tequila Canal. The property and dock were beautifully kept and the house had everything you could need. Two kayaks and a kayak launch are available, and we used them many times! (There is a little noise at night from DelPrado Blvd.) We would definitely return to this property, maybe for longer next time. The nesting owls across the street were an added bonus!

Perfect vacation house!

Our family of 5 had the best stay! The house had everything we needed (keel stocked kitchen, pool toys/floats, beach chairs and umbrella and more) and was perfectly cleaned when we arrived. Our family had a wonderful time in the pool, hot tub and kayaking on the canal. We would recommend this house to anyone!

Beautiful Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We came to relax after a few days at Disney, and this home didn’t disappoint! The outdoor living space is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the iguanas out back with our boys! I think I could have laid in the sun chairs located on the swim deck of the pool all day!! We also enjoyed adventuring on the kayaks! This place really has it all! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise! We loved making memories here!

Great house in a good location

We had a great stay, the house was a good size for our group of 5. The outdoor living was just what was needed for a getaway. We had a great time visiting local eateries and the rest of the time was spent relaxing at the house. Would definitely go back again.

Outdoor oasis!

Our family had the best time ever at this vacation home! The house itself is beautiful inside and was very clean when we arrived. It is well stocked with dishes, appliances, towels, pool floats, beach items, everything you would need! Since we stayed there in the middle of the pandemic, we didn’t even leave the house most days. The kids enjoyed waking up and swimming all day and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and lounging by the pool. No one wanted to leave! The views by the canal are beautiful and we saw some geckos and iguanas. We would definitely stay here again!
