Op zich nette kamer met uitstekend bed , echter belabberde verlichting en geen mogelijkheid om buiten te verblijven behalve naar het zwembad te gaan ( dat was overigens wel slecht gereinigd)

Great stay!
We had a great stay at Devonvale. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend enjoyed playing golf at the Estate. I was able to enjoy spa treatments in the room (they do not have a spa on site anymore) as well as an on site gym. The wine estate is not open anymore but they have a great restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoyed our stay but we surprised that there wasn't a spa or winery anymore. But I would say the staff and comfortable rooms made up for this!

Perfect for golf and relax
Nice, clean and comfortable accomodation not far from Stellenbosch. Dull corridors to the rooms but the rooms seemed newly renovated and had everything you need. Breakfast was served in the club house. There were no separate restaurant for lunch and dinner. A well maintained golf course.

The Third time at Devonvale
Perfekt location near Stellenbosch and many wine farms. The golf course was in good condition. The room comfortable. The pool area is nice. We would like to return again!!!

Second stay, lovely hotel
Second stay at Devonvale. Lovely hotel on a Golf Estate & Wine Farm near Stellenbosch. Stayed in an upgraded room which was spacious and came fully equipped with small kitchenette. Lovely grounds with stunning pool, close to many fantastic wine farms and 30 minutes outside Cape Town center. Rooms were air-conditioned, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic too. Only the included WiFi could be improved. Fine for general browsing, but Netflix was blocked and so were VPN connections which made it impossible to connect to my work network. Room tip: ask for a non-joining room on the upper floor.

A pleasant stay
The hotel is very nice, set just outside Stellenbosch. We had a 2 bedroom apartment (not garden flat only balcony) and the bedrooms were very small but the living room was nice. The kitchenette was small but well stocked. The pool was a disappointment - it was very dirty (of bugs) when we arrived - dirtier than I have ever seen a pool to be. The next day it was a bit better but still not clean. A shame really as it was a nice space. Not quite enough loungers by the pool either. Spa was very nice (had a great massage) and breakfast was nice too. Overall a pleasant stay.

Pleasant interlude.
Our stay at Devondale was a good choice. Wish we’d brought our clubs. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, pleasant restaurant. Breakfasts were superb!

Hotel bem localizado para conhecer as vinícolas
Reservei dois apartamentos para as férias de família em julho. Quartos pequenos, mas aconchegantes. Oferecem uma garrafa de vinho e duas de água por apartamento, excelente roupa de cama e produtos de higiene pessoal. Porém não há elevadores no hotel, e a academia pode ser resumida em um equipamento velho de ginástica em um quarto com carpete. Em relação ao wi-fi oferecida pelo hotel, todo dia deve-se renovar a senha com uma combinação diferente, muito inconveniente. Situa-se dentro de um campo de golfe com amplo estacionamento, localização perfeita para conhecer as vinícolas de Stellenbosch e Franschhoek. O café da manhã é adequado, além do buffet também oferecem pratos à la carte incluídos no valor. Jantamos uma vez no hotel. A comida foi razoável, com bom atendimento e o mesmo preço encontrado na cidade. A equipe do restaurante é muito simpática, embora o mesmo não se aplique a equipe da recepção que nos atendeu no check-in.

Relaxing stay at Devonvale
I cannot fault my stay at Devonvale and I would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff are very attentive, especially the restaurant staff. Breakfasts were one of the highlights of mine and my husbands day. The range of food available was excellent and the quality was first class.

Great golf hotel close to Stellenbosch town
Nice and clean golf resort. Great breakfast and good WiFi. Stellenbosch town 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Nice pool area. We were not there for the golf but it looked nice as well. Helpful staff.
