Home away from home
Beautiful setting, beautiful people too many names to mention. Very helpful staff. 5 star rooms. Been staying here for many years. My home away from home since 2010. Just one occurence where a dog was allowed in to the area where the pool is. He was on the table and on the coaches outside. It wasn't people staying at the hotel. The lady was using rude language in front of the kids esp mine as our tables where next to each other!! I alerted a staff member.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Great location in a safe area, next to the Promenade and the tourist bus. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. The views from the rooms are unmatched. The service staff might be the best part of this place. They go out of their way to accommodate you as a guest. Lots of amenities between games, gym, pools, on-site bars and restaurants. This was my first time here, but I will make sure to return on my next visit to Cape Town.

Really, Right on the Beach
The hotel location is perfect and the room was a suite with a kitchen. The bathroom has a spa bath big enough for two!.............but I was alone.

Excellent hôtel à tous points de vue !
Excellent hôtel très confortable avec toutes les commodités, vue mer magnifique et proche d'une très belle promenade en bord de mer. Un service de réception très disponible et professionnelle pour conseils et l'organisation des activités. Service navette gratuite à disposition avec un super chauffeur très sympathique qui m'a appris et montré bcp de choses intéressantes. Le personnel de manière générale est très agréable et serviable. Petit déjeuner complet très bon et varié. Un restaurant délicieux et accessible (j'ai testé celui de droite qd vous arrivez de la réception). Félicitations au directeur qui n'hésite pas à saluer de si bon matin sa clientèle.

The Hotel have a very nice appearance from the outside and the lobby, with an old art-deco style facade. However the room we stayed in and the parts of the Hotel we saw needed renovation. Also we expect that it is more of an appart hotel than an actual hotel. The Strolla restaurant was the only of the two we tried as the sunset was closed. The restaurant serves a classic burger style menu.

Lovely hotel
lovely positioned hotel right on the seafront. Nice shuttle bus service to near by attractions for free. Friendly staff. Hotel is expensive compared to others nearby but it does provide quality. I had a room overlooking the seafront and pool - a must! Menu is poor for vegetarians or vegans that was my biggest issue as a veggie.

Aging hotel but great destination and friendly staff. Its really just across the street to the beach and Regent Rd behind the hotel has all the eateries and restaurants you can imagine.

The pictures are false . The apartment and the corridor leading to the apartment are very dated and need an update . As soon as i confirmed my booking , i called the hotel requesting a HIGH floor and that both rooms should have double beds as we were 2 couples ! I also sent 2 emails requesting this . On both occasions i was assured of this ! On check in , i was given the LOWEST floor and one room had 2 single beds . I did report it to the duty manager on check in . Jeffrey was very good in trying to resolve it , but could only do the change the next day ! Being a short stay , it wasn’t convenient to move

My online booking included free parking. This was disputed when I checked in and only once I could PROVE IT from an email was it reluctantly accepted! Non of the kitchen bins had been emptied when we were shown our room...a badic chore not attended to.
