Wonderful Villa!
We had a great stay at this beautiful villa. The owners were very kind, helpful and accommodating. The house had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The house and grounds were very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed getting to know the owners. I would highly recommend this villa.

What a delight!
The first thing to know is that our hosts Gaetano and Maria we terrific. A wonderful welcome and helpful at every turn of our stay. Totally available to us but protected and honoured our privacy. The house itself is both rustic and majestic. We don’t enjoy sterile hotel environments and G&M’s home was exactly not that. Clean and with most things in good working order. We just moved in and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Gaetano even kept the pool open for our stay at our request because we had a few dedicated swimmers. We all loved our stay and recommend this property wholeheartedly!

One of the best vacation
Wonderful spacious, modern, clean, well-equipped villa can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. Conveniently located 10 min drive from airport and 20 min drive from Palermo. Car is a must if you planning to visit numerous sites in Cicily. One internal and one summer kitchen outside with barbecue gives you variety choices of cooking. Beautiful, private, clean pool with filtrated water allows you to relax after daily tour or sightseeing activities. Gaetano, his wife and son are wonderful, kind and very caring people. Made all possible efforts то convert our vacation to one of best experience ever. Welcomed and greeted with enormous plate of Sicilian sweet cakes, provided information, addresses and phones of restaurants, supermarkets and advised about places to visit. Highly Recommend this place! Great value for money!

Wonderful villa
The villa is large and well looked after, there is a lovely garden and pool to relax next too. Gaetano and his family are friendly and incredibly helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend this villa for a family stay.

Fantastic host in a wonderful property
Had a fantastic time at Villa Buffa with the gorgeous pool and the outdoor and indoor kitchen/BBQ setup, with Gaetano going out of his way to make sure we had the best possible stay. As a host Gaetano was always on hand to help us plan our trip, even offering to ferry us back and forth to the train station for a day trip to Palermo (a trip that is walkable but an offer much appreciated in 35C heat!). The villa requires a car to make the most of the trip - our advice is to use the horn round the corners near the villa as it's quite narrow, but it's completely navigable and you're on main roads within thirty seconds. Other trips out include Terrasini for the charming seaside town vibe, Trapani for boats out to the islands and Palermo for the fantastic street food and drinks. It was testament to how much we enjoyed time in the villa that we didn't make it to Cefalu or San Vito lo Capo but were we planning to go again we'd stay at Villa Buffa in a heartbeat.

Perfectly beautiful villa
Beautiful villa and grounds. Perfect location to be out of the congestion of the big city. Hosts live in the same compound, very easy to communicate with them as they are always around.

Sono contento che vi siete trovati bene nella mia villa, il nostro principale obiettivo è che i nostri ospiti trascorrino una vacanza circondati dalla natura, all'insegna del relax e garantendo la loro privacy. La mia presenza è strettamente limitata alla pulizia della piscina e degli spazi adiacenti, naturalmente negli orari in cui gli ospiti no ne usufruiscono.

First visit to Sicily
We would like to thank Gaetano and his family for welcoming us to the Carini Villa. They are such supportive, friendly helpful hosts. They go out of there way to make you welcome at their beautiful Villa. We could have been more pleased and would highly recommend it. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) and the facilities were great. They made our first visit to Sicily a rousing success that we plan on repeating, at the Villa. We were very well taken care of!
The property is very clean with lots of room indoors and out! Having a bathroom and shower in every floor is great for a large group. Air conditioning works great. The pool is immaculate as I believe Gaetano attends to it in the early morning. It was honestly hard to leave the house and visit the city. On top of the great vacation home, Gaetano and his family are such wonderful hosts. They helped us arrange a car rental for a great price, they helped us book a yacht tour from Trapani. And even gave us a ride to the airport and train at the end of our trip. Such kind people who want to ensure your stay is perfect. And very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp if questions arise. Thank you!

Fantastic Villa
We had a great stay. This Villa is immaculate and the outside space is beautiful. Gaetano is a fabulous host and the restaurants he recommended were all great. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr gepflegten, weiträumigen Grundstück. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, alles funktioniert wie beschrieben. Die Küche und Aussenküche sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist ein echtes Plus. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr freundlich mit landestypischen Süßigkeiten empfangen. Er hat uns viele wertvolle Hinweise zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, aktuellen Veranstaltungen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, dem Strand und guten Restaurants gegeben. In einer Rundfahrt hat er uns die nahe Umgebung gezeigt und uns zu einem Volksfest nach Carini begleitet (hinweis auf Shuttle Service). Wir bedanken uns nochmals für die herzliche Aufnahme und die lebevolle Betreuung während unseres Aufenthaltes. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war wunderbar
Wir waren mit unseren Jungs und Freundin für 10 Tage in der Villa,wir wurden beim check in herzlich mit Kuchen und Getränke empfangen uns wurde alles erklärt und die Kaffeemaschine für Filterkaffee wurde noch am gleichen Tag vom Gastgeber besorgt.Dafür nochmal herzlichen Dank.Wir haben gegrillt und selbstgemachte Pizza im Pizzaofen gebacken.Lidl ist zu Fuss in 600 meter zu erreichen.Zum Strand nach Mondello Beach brauch man ein Auto ,der Strand ist ein Traum..2 liegen und ein schirm kosten20 euro.Den Pool haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen,und das Wetter war perfekt.Als wir kein Mietwagen mehr hatten hat uns der Gastgeber zu einem Restaurant hin gefahren und abgeholt,danke dafür nochmal.Manchmal haben wir bis 1 uhr nachts noch viel und laut gelacht,aber keiner hat sich gestört,ich kann das Haus nur empfehlen .

Wonderful!
We are just back from a fortnight at Gaetano's Villa, and we cannot recommend it more highly. The house is impressive, with airy, high ceilinged rooms and super effective air-conditioning throughout..for our family, with two teenage children, having spacious rooms for each, and 4 bathrooms to choose from was a real luxury! All facilities and equipment needed is provided and of high quality, and again, our teenagers hugely appreciated the superfast WiFi available throughout ( and outside ) the property.. The garden truly is an oasis, and with the stunning pool as centrepiece, there is lots of room for sunbathing but also relaxing in the shade of the outdoor areas and, of course, the excellent outdoor kitchen area. Carini is a great location from which to explore the north west of Sicily, and we enjoyed trips to Monreale, Palermo, Capaci, Scopello and a wonderful boat trip to Favignana alongside our host family - highly recommended for stunning coastlines, crystal clear waters to swim/snorkel in and to visit Trapani. Closer to the villa there are several great swimming/beach spots as well as a variety of supermarkets, shops and very good restaurants, all within 5-10 mins drive. Finally, what really made the stay for us was the wonderful hospitality of Gaetano and his family. On hand for advice and tips, and even a drive by tour of local sites on our first day - you are left entirely to your selves in the villa, but always with Gaetano available nearby if any questions...this was highly appreciated! We can't wait to return again one day and continue to explore the wonderful island of Sicily and enjoy the Villa again!

Jättefint och härligt hus med alla funktioner du kan önska dig. Stora fina uteplatser och en fin pool. Fint hus med stora rum och badrum. Vi var 6 vuxna som delade boendet. Vi var mycket nöjda med bostaden och kan varmt rekommendera boendet.

Très bon passage
Maison agréable, superbe jardin, belle piscine, pingpong. Très commode pour visiter notamment Palerme et Montréal. Les hôtes sont dans une maison à côté mais restent très discrets. Ils sont sympathiques, donnent toutes sortes d adresses et de renseignements pratiques fort utiles. Ils sont prévenante et toujours prêts à dépanner. Recommandé.

Perfect place
Very warm welcome by Gaetano, his wife and daughter. We felt immediately at home. Also very clean (house and swimming pool). Gaetano explained where we could find supermarkets, restaurants, things to see and do. The garden has lemon trees, where we could pick lemons as much as we needed. Lovely home base for exploring Western Sicily
A group of friends and I came down from Rome to spend six days exploring Western Sicily. Gaetano and his lovely wife greeted us with Sicilian pastries and a tour of the house, immediately making us feel welcome. Later, Gaetano took a few of us on a car tour of the area, pointing out areas of interest to help us get our bearings. Throughout the rest of our stay, he was quick to offer advice and help out if anything went wrong (the water heater went out one night and was fixed by the next morning). Gaetano played ping pong with those of us who were brave enough to challenge us (he won every time) and we loved being able to come back to the villa after a long day to relax in the pool and make dinner on the barbecue. Highly recommend for anyone looking to spend a relaxing time at the villa or as a home base for exploring nearby cities and town. The pictures and descriptions are accurate and the grounds are even more beautiful than picture. If we ever come back to the area, we will be sure to stay there again. Like an Oasis!
We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience! Checkin was very thorough and our hosts gifted us with wine, pastries and other goodies. The property is like an oasis - palm, olive, hibiscus, lemons, fig, roses, cacti and rosemary grow all over the grounds and the pool is a welcome respite after a day of touring the countryside. The property was spotless and very private - there is a wall surrounding the property which makes it very secure and private. It is less than a 20 minute drive from the airport so it’s super easy to get to. Our hosts were available to answer any questions. I have no hesitation recommending this property.

Blissful stay in Sicily
We spent 6 nights in the villa and had a wonderful stay. Communication with Geatano was always fast and helpful. We got a lovely welcome and arrival basket which was an added touch. We were worried that the pool would be a bit cold without hearing in September, but it was perfect, even for the younger children. There are supermarkets and restaurants within a short drive, and Palermo is within easy striking distance. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Fantastisch!
Wunderschöne Anlage mit großer, privater Villa, die geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Hohe Decken, schöne Details, sehr gut ausgestattet. Großzügiger Außenbereich mit Salzwasserpool und Außendusche, Garten mit diversen Obstbäumen, Tischtennisplatte, Grill und Pizzaofen. Die Villa befindet sich in guter Lage gleich außerhalb Palermos und in der Nähe von Flughafen, Stränden, Einkaufszentren, Tankstelle, Restaurants etc. Von unserem Gastgeber Gaetano und seiner Familie wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und Gaetano war stets für uns da. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden diese Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

TOP huis met alles wat je nodig hebt
Wij werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Geatano en zijn vrouw met lekkere hapjes. Ook stond er een welkomsmand met lekkere dingen.TOP huis met een schitterend zwembad. Ook het contact was erg goed en bij deze wil ik Geatano hartelijk danken voor het geweldige huis en zijn gastvrijheiheid.

Perfect Private Villa with the most Gentle host I have ever met... THANKS GAETANO!!
Not much more words than what I describe above here can be said. From the arrival to the property till the moment we left... We received a warm welcome by a Gentle man (Geatano), his lovely wife and beautiful daughter. They gave us some drinks and ice creams and took the time to have a descent and warm introduction. They took the time to show us and walk us through the beautiful property and allow us to be comfortable with showing us all the necesary information about the accommodation, emergency information, facilities and nice places in the area, nice restaurants in the area and they even ordered us some nice family pizza's because we arrived late and didn't eat yet. There is not a lot to say more about the property and the location/ area than it is simply perfect. It is clean, the interior is very elegant, big bathrooms and the outdoor kitchen and pizza oven are amazing. The house is very nice and there is space for 9 people to stay. The pool is amazing and the gardens are perfect and allow maximum privacy. We can say that there is 100% privacy in terms of the area where the pool, the house and gardens are. What struck me the most and made the whole Experience as never before was the Gentle and helpful pro active charming person of Geatanno. On the second day I was involved in a car accident and didn't know what to do since the other side was quit agressive in dealing with the situation. I decided to call Geatanno and he was with me in 10 minutes and helped me with everything. He handled the situation... Made my family feel comfortable and even came with me to the airport to switch the car which was damaged. I could not thank him enough, but his answer was... It was my pleasure to help and support my guests. 2 days later I got sick and because of a virus I brought from home... I could not breath and never had such experience and at 6:30 in the morning Geatanno came over to the villa and brought me to the emergency hospital and made sure I got the care I needed... He stayed with me the whole rest of the day and even came with me to do some grosery for my family and bought some food for us. Altough I had these two unfortunate experiences.... I could not wish for a better holliday thanks to this special person and in the end he even said it was was an Honor for him that he could do that. WOOOOW... What can I say more... Even my wife said that she felt touched by his gestures and the way he treats his guests... Geatanno... Thank you

Super Objekt
Auch wir haben eine fantastische Ferienwoche verbracht! Wer abseits des Massentourismus Land und Leute kennenlernen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist nur wenige Minuten vom Flughafen Palermo entfernt und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Nord- und Westküste zu erkunden. Eigentlich wurde in den vorherigen Bewertungen schon alles gesagt. Weder auf den Bildern noch in der Beschreibung der Anlage wird geflunkert. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen mediterranen Garten, ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders die Terrasse und der Pool sind schön angelegt und laden zum Entspannen ein. Gaetano war den ganzen Aufenthalt lang stets zu erreichen um Fragen zu beantworten oder zu helfen. Wir nutzen mehrmals draußen die Küche. Basilikum, Zitronen etc. durften und haben wir des Öfteren genutzt. Den tollen sympathischen Gastgeber, Gaetano und die Villa empfehlen wir uneingeschränkt weiter. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles!

Villa Carini provided all the comforts of home for our party of six
We stayed at Villa Carini for six days and enjoyed the location which is close to shopping, the beach and the incredible city of Palermo. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen with a wood fire pizza oven and the swimming pool was awesome. The landscaping is beautiful with cactus, citrus and olive trees. The location provided us the opportunity to enjoy the local culture and experience the friendliness of Sicily. Gaetano and his wife Mary were very gracious hosts and we look forward to a return trip.

A beautiful villa, well equiped and very clean. The outside area is large , very private and secure. We holidayed as a family of five and made full use of the excellent pool and outside area. The hosts geatano and mary welcomed us warmly on arrival with drinks and sicilian cake, as well as a welcome hamper in the villa with basic supplies to get us started. They provided us with lots of helpful information and were invaluable during our stay whenever we had need to contact . A lovely place and fantastic host.

The property was comfortable, providing everything we needed. The swimming pool was a great hit.
We are a family of 5 and all of us had a great time. Gaetano and Mary were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with pastries and drinks and gave us information about the local area. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We decided to go on the boat trip to Favignana with Gaetano. The day was really special, travelling around the Island stopping off to bathe in the beautiful sea, we would thoroughly recommend it. A great place to stay.

Härlig villa med stor pool och fantastisk service av ägaren.
Kontakten med ägaren inför ankomsten fungerade mycket bra och han var mycket hjälpsam med bra och snabb information kring våra frågeställningar. Vi var 3 familjer med 8 personer, så vi var i behov av viss ommöblering i sovrummen vilket ägaren ordnade på bästa sätt. Vid ankomsten togs vi emot av ägaren med familj och bjöds på välkomstfika samtidigt som vi fick en mycket bra information om huset och allt runtomkring detta. Under vår vistelse fick vi alltid snabb återkoppling från ägaren när det var något vi undrade över. Vid några tillfällen ställde han även upp och eskorterade oss när vi var osäker på färdväg. Servicen från ägaren var 5-stjärnig. Huset fungerade bra för våra behov och den väl tilltagna poolen var barnens favorit. Den underbara uteplatsen med intilliggande utekök var den naturliga samlingspunkten, där vi samlades för frukost, fika och middagar. Huset var omgivet av en underbar trädgård med blommor, fruktträd och kryddväxter. Vi plockade citroner och kryddor för att använda i matlagningen. Det fanns också oliv- och fikonträd, där frukterna tyvärr ännu inte var mogna. Tomten som var stor var omgiven av en mur, vilket begränsade insynen och bidrog till att vistelsen blev behagligt privat. Husets läge var helt perfekt med närhet till flygplats, matbutik och shoppingcenter samt endast några mil till Palermo. Flera fina sandstränder fanns också inom några mils avstånd. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta ställe för en skön och aktiv semestervistelse. Så några punkter som behöver åtgärdas för att vi skulle gett 5 stjärnor: Fler uppläggningsfat behövs när man ska laga mat för ett stort sällskap. Slöa köksknivar behöver slipas. Madrassen i lilla sovrummet på nedervåningen var stenhård och behöver bytas ut till en mjukare madrass. Saknar aircondition på bottenplanet. Trådlösa nätverket fungerade nöjaktigt mellan kl. 5 och 9 på morgonen, därefter var det lite si och så. Vi fick av och till använda våra egna abonnemang.

Très agréable villa au calme, entourée de citronniers. La piscine est grande et bienvenue à toute heure de la journée. Terrasses couvertes style varangues autour de la maison. Propriétaire prévenant et aux petits soins. Pâtisseries et verre d'accueil, plateau de victuailles. Accès rapide à l'autoroute pour rayonner sur cette partie de l'île (voiture nécessaire). Supermarchés, boulangerie et divers vendeurs de fruits et légumes à 2 minutes. On conseille la sortie bateau vers Favignana avec le propriétaire, c'est magique ! La maison est bien équipée, douches et sanitaires extérieurs en plus, c'est pratique avec la piscine. Un excellent séjour.

Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere la famiglia Poirier. Persone fantastiche, molto simpatiche e cordiali. Hanno avuto molta cura della villa e degli spazi esterni. Molto pulite e ordinate, hanno lasciato la villa in perfetto ordine. Spero riaverLi nuovamente miei graditi ospiti. Li consiglio vivamente.

Meravigliosa vacanza indimenticabile
Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni indimenticabili in questa bellissima villa. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario, gentilissimo, che ha fornito tutte le informazioni e si è premurato per tutta la vacanza che non avessimo bisogno di nulla. La descrizione del sito corrisponde perfettamente alla realtà, la villa è curata e molto pulita. La cucina è ben attrezzata. Il living molto confortevole, la camera da letto è silenziosa e curata. La posizione della villa è molto favorevole per visitare sia la parte occidentale che quella orientale della Sicilia. Consiglio vivamente questa villa.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus mit schönem Garten und großem Pool
Ideal für einen Familienurlaub mit sechs, besser fünf Personen. Nähe zu Palermo, Autobahn und Flughafen bietet gute und schnelle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Man braucht allerdings auch ein Auto. Baden am Sandstrand von Mondello (10KM) zauberhaft. Gute Versorgungsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Das beste ist der große Pool im schönen ummauerten Garten. Etwas störend sind die Gewerbebetriebe in der weiteren Umgebung (gelegentliche Geräuschimmissionen).

We had an extremely enjoyable holiday in North Western Sicily based at this superb villa.
Gaetano and Mary were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The villa is an immensely relaxing oasis on the outskirts of Carini. There are plenty of outside areas to dine, relax and sunbathe. The sea water swimming pool is wonderful: large and bathed in sunshine for almost the whole of the day. The villa and grounds are extremely well equipped. We all had great fun making our own pizzas which we then cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. It was an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding towns and villages, including Montreal, Cefalu, Erica & Terrasini. We very much look forward to our return and to enjoy another great family holiday.

You've been very careful about the house and everything that was there and you also left the house in perfect order. A specification of pool water is not seawater but fresh water with addition of a percentage of salt for the production of chlorine by salt eletrolysis. I hope to have my guests again

Super dejligt feriehus med alt hvad du har brug for.
Vi fik en meget varm velkomst af udlejeren og hans familie der gav sig god tid til at vise os rundt og give tips til lokalområdet. Også i løbet af opholdet var de meget søde og hjælpsomme. Poolen er med saltvand og helt fantastisk!!! Vi brugte udekøkkenet hver dag og også pizzaovnen var rigtig god. Vi boede 7 mennesker i huset fra samme familie, med tre unge på et værelse. Det passede fint til de rum huset har. Vi vil klart anbefale huset til andre familier.

Mais ce problème a dû cafetiere? Je ne comprends pas. Peut-être qu'il est pas l'habitude d'utiliser les fabricants italiens de café moka. Si vous me demandiez, je l'ai expliqué volenyteri comme autrefois.

A Southern sense of paradise.
Living in Rome, a group of 6 of us wanted to escape the bustling life of the city and decided to book a long weekend away to Sicily. Our aim was not to visit Sicily it self but to relax and enjoy peace and quiet which this villa was perfect for as it was placed in a town outside of Palermo with not that much around. You would definitely need a car if you were planning to enjoy the beach, visit places or even do a food shop as the closest shop was 15-20 mins walk. Gaetano, and his family, gave us a warm welcome which included local treats and drinks before showing us around the place. After looking around, I felt the pictures on the website were slightly deceiving as the villa it self was even lovelier. It couldn't be better equipped for a family or group of people. The villa had everything that we needed and more. It even had extra perks like changing lights in the pool, ping pong table, wood fired oven etc. We were allowed to use anything within the grounds, including the lemons grown in the garden. You were far away enough from other houses which meant that you did not disturb anyone or got disturbed. Unfortunately there was an accident where a bed was broken but Gaetano was extremely understanding, given the circumstances. We paid for the damage but I'm sure I would have found it difficult to be that patient if that was my villa. Not only this, the family also offered us a ride to the airport and asked for a small amount compared to the taxi services It was a truly excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this villa for anyone who is planning to visit Palermo or neighboring areas.

Wunderbare, entspannte Ferien in einem Gartenparadies!
Wir haben eine fantastische Ferienwoche in der Villa Buffa verbracht! Gaetano und seine Familie sind so sympathisch!! Sie haben uns mit sizilianischen Süßigkeiten empfangen und uns nicht nur das Haus gezeigt und alles erklärt, sondern uns auch viele sehr hilfreiche Tipps zu den Ausflugszielen und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Gaetano war den ganzen Aufenthalt lang stets zu erreichen um Fragen zu beantworten oder zu helfen. Wir haben selten so viel von Herzen kommende Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Das Haus ist wunderbar. Vollständig ausgestattet, komfortabel, authentisch und gemütlich. Der Garten ist wahrhaft paradiesisch! Mit vielen Zitronenbäumen, Orangen und duftenden Blüten. Den Salzwasserpool konnten wir aufgrund des guten Wetters ausgiebig nutzen, ein riesiger Spaß! Wir mussten uns richtig überwinden um den herrlichen Garten auch mal zu verlassen um Ausflüge zu machen. Über die nahegelegene Autobahn ist man schnell in Palermo, San Vito lo Capo oder am Lo Zingaro. Ein modernes Einkaufszentrum mit großem Supermarkt ist innerhalb von 3 - 5 min zu erreichen. Also volle Punktzahl für dieses herrliche Feriendomizil, wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Large house with beautiful swimming pool and generous outdoor space
We stayed at this villa for just over a week in September 2016 as a group of friends with a toddler. The house is great and catered perfectly to our needs. The owner and his family were very attentive when we arrived to welcome us. We had the place to ourselves for the rest of the stay, which was great. Most days we headed out to explore nearby beaches and towns but would always head back for a jump in the pool and a BBQ or pizza. The house has its own wood fired pizza oven which is great. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

What a wonderful house to stay in while visiting Carini.
My family and I were a little nervous about renting a villa in another country. The owners of the house very kind, generous and helpful. The house is absolutely perfect. We are a family of four and had plenty of room. We mainly utilized the pool, the outdoor kitchen, and the fruit from the garden. We would definitely rent this house again on our next trip back to Italy.
