Friendly and knowledgeable host, beautifully appointed home. Some B&B signs along the route would be very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, like eating with family on the best china!

The host Kate was absolutely brilliant we never have felt so comfortable anywhere a home from home everything was perfect about the property the rooms the breakfast could not recommend it enough

From arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. House is beautiful and very comfortable. Kate was amazing and hope to stay here again next time we visit the area. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is exactly what I picture when I think of a B & B in Ireland. The house was from the 1700’s and it was filled with antiques befitting a house that beautiful. Kate could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. She even gave my husband tips on how to master the round-about. The room was so quaint & comfortable. After dinner she set us up with tea & biscuits in front of the fire. So relaxing! Breakfast was delicious as well. Great stop for these Yanks!!!!

Hartley House is a beautiful and quiet property. The very best thing about our stay was Kate. We felt immediately welcomed. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was incredible! I would go back to Hartley House without hesitation.

Wonderful experience in beautiful historic home!
Kate, the owner of this beautiful historic home, is truly a delight! She was a very gracious and informative hostess, that went above and beyond to accommodate our every need! Her home is immaculate, and decorated so very lovely! Lastly, we were served an incredible made to order gourmet breakfast! Thank you Kate for making our first day in Ireland a wonderful memory!

Kate is an unbelievable host. The property is breathtaking, but it is her attention to detail that makes the visit so special. My suggestion is simple..stay at least 2 nights, so you can truly experience this charming home.

Beautiful 18th century home. Lots of nice furnishings and original features. Kate is a wonderful host who made us very welcome and comfortable. Awesome breakfast.

The Hartley House was perfection! Lovely accommodations, delicious breakfast, and a wonderful proprietor Kate. Better than a hotel, because the facilities were so inviting. better than self catering, because a hot breakfast and tea or coffee greeted you each morning. Great place for long walks. Can’t say enough about this. B&B.
