A beautiful property and a great location. We really appreciated the hosts allowing our kids to feed the animals and have a swim in the pool. The accommodation was lovely and comfy with everything we needed. We'd love to sray again.

Wonderful 2 night base
Serenity is the perfect description for the lovely home to stay in. We were greeted by a gorgeous four legged girl with a red band gumboot as a welcome gift. Meeting the owner was like meeting a old family member. Having the home baked bread, fresh eggs, and homemade jam along with Tea Leaf tea was a winner. Its a great place to stay, we are coming back.

The best hostess! She left us fresh bread and cookies as well as farm fresh eggs! the area was beautiful with sheep pastures all around. the cottage was clean and everything updated! Wonderful stay!

This was an accessible property close to main road, but peaceful and very well provisioned. We enjoyed using this place as a base for visiting local Wairarapa towns.

Peaceful and lovely place
We had a lovely weekend at this property. Very peaceful and quiet and not far if you want to escape Wellington. Nicole is a great host and very accommodating. Will definitely return.

A home away from home
We enjoyed this farm experience, with all the comforts of home, beautiful rural scenery, peaceful and quiet, with a lovely welcome of fresh bread, farm eggs and home-made biscuits.

Convenient country get-away
Nice property, and good location between Greytown and Carterton, with peaceful views of sheep in the paddocks, and of hills beyond. Set back from SH2, so easy to find, but not noisy. Lovely friendly family hosting, and fresh home baking and eggs were a real treat. Kids enjoyed the books, board games, and fort in the garden 😀

Lovely stay - very family friendly
We really enjoyed our stay. The lovely hosts greeted us, gave us fresh bread, cookies and milk. The house was well set up for families and the kids loved the toys and pool! The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the friendly labradors and looking out to see the cows and farmland

Nicole and Dr. Dave were fabulous hosts. Fresh farm eggs and homemade bread and biscuits = fantastic. The swimming pool was incredible. Fabulously maintained.

Fantastic location for a Wairarapa visit
Nicole is a great host. Lovely fresh bread and eggs provided as well as homemade biscuits! Property ticks all the boxes. Beds were comfortable & everything supplied that we needed. Swimming pool was welcome on a hot afternoon. Dogs were lovely and added to the charm.

A lovely spot to recharge our batteries
We had a lovely weekend at this property - the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and the cottage was clean, warm and modern. The (still warm) homemade bread and biscuits were a treat. Our 6 year son absolutely loved the sweet animals, and being able to bottle-feed a tiny lamb was very special!

Short and sweet
The property owner was so lovely and they were amazing hosts. The little cottage is so clean and feels very homey. Love waking up to the view of their farmland and all the animals. The pool was amazing and the facilities were awesome. Very accurate to the listing and no doubt we will be back! Highly recommend

We enjoyed Hannah and her family staying-we think the sound of kids and adults laughter sums up what we are all about here. Enjoying the pool, our farm animals and of course, the accommodation-complete with air conditioning and gorgeous sunsets. Thanks for coming Hannah-we appreciate your review.

Lovely family get away
My family enjoyed our stay- so peaceful and a very comfortable and modern cottage! My daughter loved the sweet animals and the gorgeous new pool made it especially hard to leave. Nicole and her fam are an absolute delight. Excellent value.. Hope to return!

Home away from home
Beautiful accommodation! Photos don’t do it justice. We had an amazing stay with our 1yr old and were well looked after and even given high chair and toys for him during our stay. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Lovely farm stay in the Waiarapa
Gorgeous views all around at this peaceful farm stay in the heart of the Waiarapa. Modern clean self contained guest house with nice touches from the flowers outside to the freshly baked bread and eggs left by our hostess and the small but good selection of books left for guests to read. In spring, we visited and cuddled adorable new lambs and calves. My daughter loved it, as did I and my husband. A great escape from the city and convenient to the event we attended in a nearby town. Would definitely come back.

Excellent little get-away
Loved our stay. The Cottage was very clean, modern and warm. It was also bigger than we expected and our family of three was very comfortable in the space. Lots of welcoming extras: milk, farm eggs, homemade bread & biscuits! Enjoyed short walks around the farm and seeing the animals. Would recommend.

Wonderful self contained cottage in a lovely farm setting between Carterton and Greytown.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Cottage was really clean, comfortable and quiet. Hostess Nicole was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.The rural views were lovely as were the friendly sheep and dogs! We'd highly recommend Waihakeke to anyone wanting to stay in a rural setting yet have close proximity to the neighbouring country towns of Carterton and Greytown.
