Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. A beautiful home with everything you need, very clean and the backyard was amazing. It kept three teenage grandchildren and four adults completely entertained. There were a few issues when we first arrived but the home owner responded immediately.

Generally a lovely place to stay at Cedar Lake! The pool is fabulous, beds and furniture are great, the backyard and firepit are wonderful, and there's plenty of room for multi-car parking. Caveats below: - Bring your own mugs. As Kim M's review notes, the only mugs have a gold enamel leaf on the handle and are not microwave safe. You'll heat up your coffee in the microwave and think the warning is overly cautious ... and then burn the sh*t out of your finger once you touch the handle. - The sound REALLY carries from the open great room to the bedrooms, so this rental is best your group is synced up with bedtimes and wake up times. - For our July 2025 visit there were ants inside at least one of the bedrooms. - Some child-specific notes: the outdoor tables include sharp metal corners at about the height child's head. The pool is also deeper than child height. - Bring your own beach towels/pool towels.

This property was clean, nicely decorated & kitchen well appointed (except for the NON Microwave safe coffee mugs). A reheated cup of coffee caused 2nd & 3rd degree burns when removed from the microwave. After the fact, we noted the mugs were stamped on the bottom in tiny print, "not microwave safe". Ammr made sure to point that out after checkout.The yard was set up nicely & we were able to enjoy the games in the garage using the heater after changing the battery in the thermostat. (A trip to the Dollar Store)Our host Ammr promptly replied to messages, being kind enough to allow us an early check in. Upon our arrival, an alarm was sounding every few seconds, audible throughout the entire house. Contacting Ammr, he said, the Alarm panel was defective & could not be replaced until after the New Year. As a work around, he agreed to remotely reset the alarm. This worked fine except New Year's Day morning, when we were woken by the alarm!The amenities listed 2 bathrooms. With 8 of us, we counted on the 1/2 bath. The1/2 bath is outside and not available in Winter! (It was shown in photos) Also listed were "towels are provided". We found, adequate bath towels, no face clothes & 1 hand towel for 2 bathrooms, (another trip to store).The main bedroom has no shade over the high window and the nice main bedroom bathtub hot water did not work, very disappointing! Also the batteries were dead in that TV remote.All in all, we enjoyed our stay, with comfortable accommodations.

We were overly impressed by the cleanliness of the home! Everything was perfect- from the decor to having anything that we could need! The weather didn’t cooperate to use the pool too much, but there were fun backyard games and games in the garage! Beds were comfortable and there was not one complaint all weekend!

The property is very clean, well kept, and stocked with everything you need for a great time. The backyard is a dream for adults and children. We were happy that the backyard is gated and had the covered porch. While kids slept we were able to sit outside. I do agree with another review, a gate for the pool would have been nice for younger kids. Only other suggestion would be to have more darkening shades. The ones currently still let a lot of light in at 6 AM. Overall, we would stay here in a heartbeat! Thank you Ammr for your wonderful property and communication.

Yard is perfect for children. Awesome property 2 minutes from anything you need. Only suggestion would be to bring your own gate for the pool if you have little ones. Definitely returning annually!

The house was very clean and a great place to stay. Has a very nice backyard with a fire pit. Would highly recommend this house.
