Relaxing get away
Our grown boys were each able to get away from their jobs and join us. We all had a great time. Did some fishing on one of the prettiest lakes I've ever been on. Also enjoyed touring the surrounding area. Will be back.

Quiet place for a quick stay
A cute no frills cabin. Basics are provided such as toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen utensils. The back porch has a swinging porch over looking the river. A fire pit is great for relaxing evenings by the river and smores. Overall a good experience for a short term stay

Fishing for spring break
My husband, son, and I took a few days on school spring break to go relax and do some fishing. The place was perfect for that. It was quiet, right on the river, and only a few minutes from the Dale Hollow Dam and Lake so we went there for a few hours one day as well. Quiet for relaxing and close enough to town to go grab a DQ Blizzard since calories don't count on vacation, right!! The host, Jonathan, was so nice and very quick to respond. Thank you!!

Broken Shower Knob
The cold water shower knob came off in my husband’s hand. He fixed it but it was not as easy as just screwing it back in. Our friend had stayed there a few months before and said the same thing had happened and it was reported to the owner. I emailed the owner but never received a response. Also, the toilet paper supply was low so we went to the Dollar General and bought some. The cabin was cute overall but not ready for guests.

Thank you for the feedback! As far as the shower knob, obviously, we apologize for that inconvenience and appreciate your husband doing what he could to fix it. While I can’t say for sure because I talk to a lot of people regarding different properties, but I don’t have any recollection of anyone letting us know there was prior damage. Also, none of the owners of this account have received an email from you about the issues. We certainly apologize for the toilet paper issue as well. Must have been a simple mistake on our end, as we’ve never ran into that issue, even with stays much longer. We also never got a message from you on VRBO letting us know you were experiencing issues so we were unable to tend to them during your stay. Overall, we apologize for the inconveniences. We’ve never been given a 3 star review, so maybe this was just a one-off experience. We’d love to host you again and make it up to you!

quiet and perfect location
Was their to do some local research and self assignment photography. Great place close to town but was isolated. easy access to highway and nice people located in the area next to me..

Short getaway
Great location!close to several restaurants and a grocery store.we loved sitting around the fire pit and watching the river.the swing on the porch is very nice also.the cabin had everything we needed.we will definitely be coming back

Very Nice Obey River Cabin
Cute and charming River Cabin that was super clean and well stocked, all this and a beautiful view of the Misty covered Obey Rive. This cabin is located very close to town and Dale Hollow Lake Marina. We enjoyed our stay and the host provided excellent information about driving direction and local eateries. Great choice and our Boston Terrier lived like a queen for two days!

Great peaceful getaway
Perfect little cabin to enjoy the peaceful area! Very close to Dale Hallow trout hatchery for some fishing! I also recommend the local restaurants/bakery downtown!

Fishing trip...
Found this place after finding out the marinas were all booked up for the duration of our trip. So glad I did. Cabin was amazing. It was clean and well stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. The veiw was beautiful. The river had high fishing potential but the dam was generating most of our stay so the currents were VERY strong. Great place to stay, would definitely return.

Home away from home
Was everything we wanted, so clean, well stocked on kitchen needs to cook with. We have a tradition to catch our anniversary meal each year, the river did not let us down, awesome fishing and good size trout. We absolutely love this chalet and will book again! Thank you, Robert and Patty

Amazing!!
The Cabin was perfect! So peaceful and what a treat to be right on the Obey River. Great location only a few minute drive to Celina and Dale Hollow Dam. We will definitely be staying here again!

Nice little cabin getaway
Really enjoyed the area and the fishing was fantastic! Cabin was a little small but met our needs. We were there to enjoy the outdoors anyway. Nice back porch and the river was right out the back door. Side note: the fish cleaning station came in real handy!

Nice cabin close to the river
The cabin was clean organized and well stocked. Except for trash bags. Had a musky smell, maybe from moisture from the location. A bottle of febreze freshened it up. Fishing was great in the Obey river. Caught several trout bank fishing there. We will definitely go back. No problems with the kids or people in the campgrounds. I do wish the cleaning table had a fold down cover to keep it clean.

Great getaway!
Communication was Excellant. Check in without any problem. Place was just as described. My husband and I and our old lab had a very relaxing weekend. Caught some great rainbow trout and the outdoor cleaning station came in very handy. Ate at a couple local restaurants but really liked the burgers and steak at Ricky Bobby’s. Would recommend guests bring outdoor chairs if you want to sit around the fire. The porch was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Would highly recommend for a relaxing time.

River cabin experience
The River cabin was very cute and satisfied our needs. I wish it did have in the description that it is next to a camp ground. Some kid next door kept yelling “stranger danger” when my husband was out fishing. That was a down fall to the property location. However, it did provide a nice getaway for the weekend.

Jollay Weekend trip

We had a relaxing long weekend staying at the cabin. We fished during the day at Dale Hollow, which was close and very convenient. Bed was comfy and the cabin was well equipped.

Charming cabin
Decided to stay the weekend here after spending Thanksgiving with family in Moss. My sons loved the cabin. During the day, we visited the square in nearby Celina, Livingston and fished at Dale Hollow Lake. Evening time we played cards, made s'mores, and watched some of our favorites on Netflix. I imagine in warmer months, we would have really enjoyed the porches. Hope to get to visit again soon.

Enjoyed my stay
I enjoyed staying here. The place was clean and nice. The porch swing was amazing!!! By far my favorite part! I spent most of my time sitting outside listening to the birds, the leaves in the breeze, and the rain. A must for anyone staying here!

Quick get away
Just two hours from Nashville makes this a great spot for a quick get away. My wife and I needed a break from Nashville’s hospitality industry and this was perfect for a three day stay.

Great fishing cabin
Our hosts were responsive. The house is comfortable and backs up to the Obey river. Great back porch to hang out. Fished the river behind the house and had great luck, fished the damn nearby and had good luck. It was a great weekend with my brother.

Quiet retreat
Both our pup and us enjoyed the wonderful outdoor space for games, fishing, and campfires. Quiet retreat with local stores close by for a errand should you forget anything.

Awesome, private, cozy!
I have to say as a native Tennesseean and a world traveler, Dale hollow is still one of the most beautiful places in the world and this cabin we stayed in was perfect!! Clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Host was great at helping with process and answered all questions quickly. The river is right in the backyard. Greatful we could bring our dogs, they loved it. We really enjoyed our time and would love to come back here again. Jason and Shree' Woodard
