Creepy and unclean! We didn’t know the mother-in-law suite had access from the inside of our living space until we got there.You could hear music and talking thru the walls.I notified the host right away about my family being not comfortable with these circumstances and asked if there was a different property we could transfer our stay to. They didn’t have one, so I inquired about a refund and they said no. So we unloaded our luggage, reluctantly to stay the night.It gets worse. My wife went to take a shower in the on-suite bathroom and noticed in the middle of taking a shower a hole in the shower wall! I inspected it and took pics and vids of this hole. Will post and you be the judge of how comfortable you would be.My young adult daughter felt uncomfortable sleeping in one of the two guest bedrooms, so she slept on the couch. The next morning she found a live bedbug on the bathroom towels provided on the guest bedroom bed. Took pics and vids. We found more remnants of bedbugs in the other guest bedroom. Took pics n vids.I notified the host right away. They asked for pics. I sent them and notified them that we were not staying and I wanted a refund. They said they had to “look into the matter” before deciding.Obviously we packed our stuff and left. We ended up finding a hotel where I paid twice the amount due to last minute accommodations over Memorial Day weekend.I notified VRBO customer service of our experience. They couldn’t help.
