Desayuno para occidental muy pobre tuve que pedir cam bio habitacion la ban era descascarada un asco me pasaron habitacion fumador impregnada de olor. No lo recomiendo

The staff are friendly, attentive, competent and over all a pleasure. The pool is great as is the gym. Food is excellent especially if you like south India vegetarian choices. Rooms are large and adequately appointed. The hotel is old and shows it’s age although continuous remolding is underway. Most staf speak some English. The guests are primarily Indian from various places. For the price the property is an exceptional value.

Pros The property is a gleaming white impressive spectacle. Very good service at the reception. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Great buffet breakfast and service. Dinner at Malgudi is excellent but service is slow and somewhat aloof. Centrally located to go any where. Many restaurants in the vicinity. Cons Bed linens and towels are stained and have turned yellowish. Not a very pleasant site. All the restaurants and swimming pools cannot cover up for poor quality linen a towels. The person at the payment counter somewhat impatient,unsmiling and not very pleasant of behaviour. Could be more friendly to make the interaction pleasant.

Well known and Centrally located.
This hotel is centrally located, but it is an old property. Rooms, elevators electrical and electronic aspects need total upgrade. If you like South Indian food, their breakfast (comes with room) is sumptuous. Malgudi restaurant serves decent lunch and dinner in a clean environment.

Very good location. Clean. Two good dining options. Need additional maintenance - musty smell in room due dampness and lack of exhaust/ventilation. Got a room next to maintenance room and there were noise until midnight

Well improved; comfortable and pleasant stay
Hotel is a prime location, though it has existed for long the new renovations makes it look better. Rooms are maintained clean, good amenities and WiFi, staff are polite and accommodating and overall a very enjoyable stay.

An EXCELLENT hotel in the heart of Mylapore
The Breakfast buffet was good but it has been scaled back from my pre-Covid visits. My room was very comfortable and Praveen my room boy (Floor 9) went beyond the call of duty to always check with me if I needed extra towels, water, coffee etc.

Worst experience
I have stayed here in the past and had good experience. But this time was horrible! Very dirty linens and towels. Room were very dusty. Room boys not even using face mask or any of the Covid protocols. Breakfast was served cold. Would never stay at this for ever
