Cute place in a nice beighborhood

I loved the remodel of this basement apartment. The fixtures and counters were beautiful. The heat did not work and the property management took a while to respond, but everything got resolved. The kitchen is well equipped. The laundry room is quite large which makes a nice place to store luggage. Neighborhood is quiet and felt safe.

Very nice Lakeview apartment

We enjoyed our stay very much! Quaint neighborhood with many restaurants, shops and nearby grocery stores including Trader Joe’s within walking distance. Also walking distance to the Brown Line elevated transit station which makes downtown Chicago very accessible. The neighborhood felt very safe and inviting. We really appreciated William the owner . We needed to check in early because we arrived in Chicago Mid-day. He couldn’t always guarantee early check-in but he made it happen! We had very good communication with him! We would definitely stay again while in Chicago! Thank you William!

The place was awesome! Perfect location and exactly what we wanted. Very cute and comfy. Close to everything we visited and near popular streets with bars, restaurants, and shopping! Would highly recommend this place!

Check in issues for a nice property

We were coming in Chicago for a conference and a weekend after starting on Wednesday. Unfortunately we didn’t get access to the place until Thursday!!! No reply from property Wednesday before and after check in time, including multiple attempts by VRBO to get in touch. Vrbo booked us for Wednesday night at a hotel downtown and told us they would rebooked entire trip if we didn’t hear the next day. Surprisingly, the next morning we received check in instructions like nothing had happened. It felt like a bot was communicating and made us a little uneasy about the place but VRBO told us to check it out. The place was fine so we stayed there the rest of our trip. I messaged about check out instructions and again got no reply so we cleaned up and left trash in can and left. Felt very weird and again uneasy if something were to have happened again. Overall property was new feeling. Washer and dryer looked shared with upstairs unit but we didn’t use. Location was awesome and weren’t many other options in this area. I wouldn’t take the risk with booking this property again. The real winner was Vrbo for making rebooking the first night so easy and following up after to make sure we were all set.

Great option for a couple's stay in the Lincoln Park area!

This ground floor unit has recently been totally renovated to provide a very comfortable stay in the Lincoln Park area. The management company has obviously given much thought and consideration to everything guests need to enjoy a comfortable and safe stay, from the bathroom amenities to a fully-stocked kitchen. The only negative is the occasional noise that comes from the unit above...which is expected when staying in multi-floor buildings with older wood floors. (Also, the screen on the storm door needs repair.) We would definitely stay here again if the pricing doesn't increase.

Great location and cute place

This place was in a great location for Lincoln Park and we were able to walk to many places. It was very cute. The only thing is, when we opened the door, there is a huge drop off! Be aware of this. I fell right down. haha! I do think this should be disclosed for others or older people in case it is dark when you go inside and do not see you have to step down. Other than that, the place was great.
