A big disappointment and one of the worst hotels of my life: We arrived at night and found our room dusty and a bit dirty but since we had events scheduled from early morning the next day, we decided to rest and leave early. Next day, when we returned exhausted at night, we were surprised that the room had not been made up, even the towels that we had left on the floor to be removed were in the same place, damp. They hadn't even taken out the trash! We called Front desk thinking that they would apologize and send someone immediately to do the cleaning, but the answer was that they only clean by request and at that time they could no longer help us. Even when in my astonishment I said that the beds were not made, they answered me indignantly “We Don’t Do Beds”!
For hygiene they should clean every day!. It would be the same case as a restaurant telling its customers that if they want the main course or dessert on another plate they have to wash it themselves or request clean plates at arrival. It's a basic hygiene matter! It's not an AirB&B! Do they expect guests to travel with brooms and squeegees?
Very bad Hilton Double Tree! Is your next budget cut going to hot water only by request? and if you do not request it early you will have to bathe with cold water… And that is something that at least do not affect your health but what they are doing threatens the basic hygiene and health of their guests! Do not stay there if you want to sleep in a clean and comfortable room.
