A home from home
I really enjoyed my stay. I was greeted warmly and had everything I needed including a nice selection of teas and coffee. Facilitates in good condition etc. Thank you very much

A comfortable room with all necessary facilities. About 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Chichester, cathedral and restaurants etc.

The hosts are lovely. Check in was instant and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. We were there for 3 nights. The property is very convenient and is within easy walking distance to town and restaurants, bars etc. The room was immaculate and was serviced daily. I would, without a doubt recommend, this B&B to anyone and would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. Oh, and the cooked breakfast was superb!

We had a great stay in the cottage. Within walking distance to the town centre which was so handy. We had a great night's sleep and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Nice B&B
This was a room in a private home but with all the room amenities you would expect in a hotel at half the price. I had, what used to be, the family bathroom which was large and roomy. Lynne, the owner was friendly and welcoming. There was a supermarket and Harvester nearby for evening meal or breakfast if you were room only.

This is a very clean and cozy place to stay if you just want to reflect and relax by yourself. I appreciated the folder of leaflets of places to visit in the area. A good cooked breakfast cost an extra £7, and apart from check-in, it was the only time I saw the owners. I didn’t ask whether the lounge at the back was their own private room or for guests to use as well. I had the very front room (4) next to the road, with its constant stream of traffic; a reminder that life goes on even after my bereavement. The shower and toilet in this room are squeezed into a small space and they would be difficult to use if you are tall or large. Parking, and unloading luggage, at the property is difficult. There are 2 tandem spaces on the narrow driveway and one parking space parallel to the front of the cottage, making it especially awkward if you have mobility issues. I did park for free on Church Road, a short walk away. There are also 2 supermarkets and a restaurant nearby.

Friendly and central.
Only there for a brief time but very friendly. Located close to the city centre so no taxis needed. When in the area again would definitely use again.

Die Gastgeber sind überaus nett , zuvorkommend und recht herzlich ! Alles war bestens außer dem Verkehrslärm, da unser Zimmer zur Straße ging. Ein sehr guter Pub und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Zu Fuß 20 Minuten in die Stadt ist auch OK ! Doch für den Straßenlärm können die Gastgeber nichts , aber sie machen es wett durch ihre besonders freundliche Art !!! Alles in allem sehr zufrieden. Ich würde jederzeit gern wieder hingehen !

Overall … okay
Overall a good stay. The room was small, but spotlessly clean. Walls were thin hence noisy 4am returnee guests could be heard. However, the owners were friendly, helpful and made a real effort. It’s budget, bear that in mind and all will be well.

Our bedroom was right beside a busy road making sleep very difficult. The bathroom was tiny with litle room to move. Our hostess was friendly and helpful however. Difficult to spot The Cottage on first arrival after dark and parking far from ideal.
