Newlyweds
Very unique and wonderful place to stay. The location is tucked away from the main road but once you arrive and enter the house, you will be amazed at how beautifully designed and put together it is. The house is an open layout with beautiful furniture and lighting throughout. In addition to the wonderful house, the homeowners were amazing with promptly responding to messages and left some cookies out for our arrival. Overall we give this a 10/10 rating for our experience. If we are in this area in the future or know someone else who will be, this destination will be our first choice and we would recommend this property for anyone else who is interested!

Peaceful
We really enjoyed our stay at the Roost. Directions were spot on, the cookies left for us were fantastic. Communication with the host's was great. The Roost is very unique with great decorations. It was very clean, well stocked. Most of all we enjoyed the peace and quiet, wildlife and THE STARS! Wish we could have done more exploring in the area, but we were there for only a short while.

Wonderful Getaway!!
My wife and I needed a little escape to recuperate and reconnect after the holidays, and we could not be happier with our stay! The Hideout is tastefully decorated (very comfortable and cozy), private, beautiful views, and provided for all of our needs. We were even greeted with a plate full of homemade cookies!! Truly met and exceeded all of our expectations!!

Relax and Reset
Perfect place to just reset life. Quiet, relaxing and just all around peaceful. Great communication with owners if needed. Very cute decor. My heart didn't want to leave.

Great Texas country experience!
This location is out in the middle of beautiful Texas country. The hosts and the house were truly exceptional. Can’t wait to come back!

What a sweet place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Decorated in a western style and lots of great art and fun lighting everywhere. The tub was so nice after a long day of travel and the huge bed was great. The kitchen was very well appointed with "Country Woman" dishes and cooking pots. They home baked cookies for our arrival were great, thanks Mitzi :) The porch breeze was great and the fire flies were fun to watch. Hosts were very responsive and helpful :) Off the beaten path but the directions were spot on.

Relaxed weekend with wildlife
Cute little cabin. Easy to find, and the best customer service from the owners that a guest could get! We used the deer corn provided, and enjoyed all the wildlife from the front porch. Thank you for an easy, relaxing weekend.
