Fantastic stay!
This was a wonderful place to relax, walk, unwind, cook, and be together over the new year. We went on a short hike, walked a bit, cooked a lot, and spent time in the hot tub. Fantastic!

Thanksgiving fun
Good meeting place for family to come and stay or play for as long as they wanted. Space for everyone to gather eat, play games, go on walks, and even doing dishes was fun and easy with that view! Plenty of quality time spent making good memories with family.

Perfect!
This property was so perfect for ourselves and our adult children when we came into town for a family wedding. It was so peaceful and serene and accommodated everyone comfortably.. We were able to take advantage of the pool table, hot tub, walking paths and even some board games.

Beautiful & Quiet
Perfect! The view is amazing and the sky at night is priceless! The house is comfortable and clean. I think the mattress on the beds might need an up date. Not all are very comfortable. But it hasn’t stopped all 10 of us ladies going back 2 years in a row!! Thanks for the memories we made!! Truly a great location.

Refresh Extravaganza Womens Retreat Crew House
Well, we are so so happy with this rental. We have stayed there multiple times. Usually this is our place for 10 days during a women retreat. And recently we came back for a fun friends and family birthday celebration. We have been there in a October, January, April, and coming up again this July. The access to the river and woods is a beautiful big plus! It is very cozy and comfortable at and around the house. Mornings and sunsets are spectacular. It is so very tranquil and quiet. And neighbors are helpful and friendly. Also sweet invites to go say hi to the neighbors Alpacas, Cheech and Chong!! We highly recommend experiencing this wonderful rental. And a big thank you to you all for the fabulous service. Oh and there is always a nice bottle of vino for you when you arrive. Cheers, Dawni Rae Joanne AJ and crew

It was OK
Overall it was a fun time and beautiful location with plenty of space. We had 8 people. The things that need improved are the following- guest bed frame was broken and the mattress was very old. Was unsure if we would be on the ground in the morning. The french door on patio was broken as well at the jamb and was very drafty. We thought we didn't have enough towels but as we were checking out we found all the towels still in the dryer. The dishes were still in the dishwasher we had to put them away in order to use the dishwasher. Make sure you take bottled water because the water is horrible! Even to shower it is bad. I would suggest another night stand in the master and better lighting over the table. At night playing games there was not enough light. There was plenty of kitchen supplies which was nice. Another big suggestion is a water filter system, this would definately make this place a better place to visit.

Spacious home in a perfect location
Comfortable home in the 1980s style with the most amazing views and the best sledding hill we have ever been on. A water filtration system to clean out the iron and sulfur from the water (that smells quite bad) would make it a better vacation home.

Great property for a relaxing getaway in the snow
Our family enjoyed sledding on the property, soaking in the hot tub with beautiful views and spending time together inside the spacious house. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Plenty of bedding and towels. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage. The adults enjoyed sitting on the love seat situated in front of the large windows, looking out over the property and watching the snow fall. A wonderful family property! I bet it is great in the summer too.

Spacious and comfortable
We stayed at this property for our family Thanksgiving celebration and we were surprised at how spacious and comfortable it was. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The hot tub was an added perk and the view was beautiful. The bedrooms were nice, too. We would suggest bringing bottled water for drinking, however, we cooked with the water and it was fine. It was a lovely place to stay.

Great family getaway
We booked this property for a post-Thanksgiving gathering and it was perfect. We had 3 kids with us & there was plenty of room for them to play & the bunk beds were perfect. The only downside was the smell of the water, everyone thought that it was a bit intense for it being well water as we have well water at our house as well. We chose to buy water to drink because of this. But, aside from that it was perfect & the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a large meal. Having access to the hot tub was also a huge bonus. i’d recommend staying here!

Excellent place to stay!
My bridesmaids and I rented this place for my wedding weekend. It was perfect for what we needed. Quiet and beautiful place to spend time. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Cle Elum area!!!

Awesome place, peaceful location
What a great place with great access to the trail and river. The house is spacious with plenty of rooms. The hot tub and the view were great. One thing, if you are picky about the taste of your water, then note that the house is on a well and you may want to bring drinking water . This place is an excellent value! I will definitely stay here again.

Another great stay
The house is clean and has all the amenities we needed. It's very much like a family home, not a high-end resort; but the beds are comfortable, everything works, and the location is peaceful and convenient to the outdoors.

Pros- The property is beautiful and hosts were nice and responded quickly when contacted. Cons- Water had unpleasant smell, deck is old, we got some slivers in our feet. Deck also had several wasp nest in the patio furniture. Dishes were in cupboards dirty upon arrival. Overall, our stay was just okay. We definitely didn't feel the value for price paid.

Getaway With a View
We had a great time here! The views from the deck were gorgeous. It was remote enough that we enjoyed the privacy, but were only 10 minutes from town. We stayed here over the weekend to attend our friends wedding and it was the perfect place to come home to afterwards. Comfortable and cozy. Thank you for having us!

River n Trails cabin stay
My friends and I rented River n Trails cabin (though not really a cabin) for a get a way weekend. Some of us drive from the Seattle area but also from Spokane so it was a great location to meet. The views of the spring green valley and mountains were fabulous. We enjoyed watching trail traffic and also walking the trail. The place was well stalked so much better than some other VRBOs we have stayed at.

Lovely weekend!
From start to finish the booking and weekend was lovely. The home is lovely but the view is really what makes it special! Sitting in the hot tub with deer in the field and mountains in the background is so special.

Nice house with great location
Amazing location right next to the old iron horse state park trail. Great views, fits 7+nicely and lots to do outside. Plus there is ping pong, foosball and darts on the garage for more fun. We hope to come back someday!

Relaxing Winter Getaway
We (my husband, daughter, and granddaughter) had a very relaxing winter getaway. It snowed almost the entire time and the living room windows offered a panoramic view of the winter landscape. The bedrooms were laid out well, and the kitchen was well stocked. We had forgot our sled, so we were very happy to find many sleds in the garage. The temperature was in the teens, and the house stayed very toasty. I would recommend a stay at this property.

Perfect winter retreat
This property was the perfect location for our winter vacation. The teens were able to access 3 mountain passes while I enjoyed a gorgeous snowy view from the picture windows. Leavenworth was an hour drive and nearby Roslyn is adorable. The house is fully stocked with all the dishes, cleaning supplies and basic toiletries you’ll need. I was impressed by the cleanliness and communication from the homeowner. He came by multiple times to plow the driveway after heavy snowfall. I’d recommend bringing bottled water if you’re not used to well water (it’s safe, just tastes funny to city folk). We are already talking about coming back next summer!

Everything you need is here
Great property to rent! The kitchen is the most well appointed kitchen I have seen in a vacation prperty and I have rented a lot. The beds and furniture are comfortable and the house is spacious with a beautiful view. Communication with the property owner was excellent, would definitely rent this again if in the area.

Beautiful view - Perfect access to trail
We stayed for two weeks, first week with my husband and I, and three friends joined us for second week. My husband was running the Cascade Crest hundred mile trail run and the location was perfect. Direct access to the John Wayne trail from the back lawn gave us no excuse for skipping a morning run. The view from the living room is spectacular! Close to town but still a remote feel. Owner stopped by to check hot tub and was delightful. He was very responsive to a water issue and had a contractor promptly fix it.

Beautiful weekend!
This is my second time staying here and both times have been great! Very clean! The views are amazing. My only reason for a one less star is that I do think that it could be a little more updated cosmetically wise. It did reach 85 degrees inside at one point even trying all the ways to keep it as cool as we could but we made the most of it and enjoyed the cool garage and darts! It wouldn’t hurt to put in some portable AC units but for the price you pay, you roll with it! There was lots of deer and even saw turkeys. I’m a outdoorsy person so it tickled me to see them! Wish I brought my binos! Overall, I enjoyed my time! The owners are great people, very good with communicating and making you feel welcome! I will be back again for sure!
