The pictures of Casa Nooli looked amazing, yet the feel of the actual place was even better.
We were the very first people to stay there and we did not want to leave. The design is beautiful - modern and hip, yet warm and inviting. The entire front of the place opens up onto the deck/pool so it feels like you're living with the nature around. We watched sunsets from the infinity pool, the deck, and the kitchen. The villa is also very private, with all of the windows and deck looking out over the jungle and ocean, and no one around in any direction. It was also well laid out so that it's bright, but the sun doesn't bake into the villa or even the deck. It was hard to choose whether to go into town (super cute) or just stay at the villa.
The people behind the house were also so kind and generous. Ian (host), and Marie & Martin (our concierge/driver) made the stay so easy. They picked us up from the airport, arranged ATV and car rental (during peak season when everything was booked), found us surf lessons and yoga classes, and helped us figure things out when we needed it. And they were very responsive, eager to help in any way, accommodating, and kind.
Casa Nooli is located in an ideal part of town, near the middle of the main street with all the restaurants/cafes/shops, straight up from Eat Street (an adorable food spot with a variety of restaurants serving smoothies, chia bowls, burgers, ...). However, it is quite a ways up the hill - so strongly recommend having an ATV or 4x4 to get up and down. Also, there are a few flights of stairs (outside with beautiful views) to walk to get to the villa.
Overall - we can't wait to stay here again.
