Solo estuve 35 minutos mi bebe empezó a sentirse mal el olor era terrible. El aire acondicionado no funcionó tenía reservadas 3 noches y no quieren devolver mi dinero. Solo pedía. Las dos ultimas noches. No espere ni un momento y salí de e se lugar. Muy muy malo. No quise dormir ni una. NOche en ese lugar no lo recomiendo

What an amazing hostel, great experience from check in to check out! Great people make a great atmosphere. Room was small and not very noise proof if that bothers you. We had a great time and would stay again when we’re next in Colorado Springs.

One night in Colorado Springs
The accomodation Is a nice and clean hostel therefore you must be aware that no sheets are in the beds, fortunately we has our sacs, so we did not asked for them them I do not know if tgey can be rented. Check It. Instad covers are provided for free. Another issue we found Is that It Is indicated simply as RAD so not look for the label "Colorado Adventure".

The hostel was very much a hostel, which is a plus! The staff were friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere. There was plenty of space to just exist in public. I was able to both work quietly and also socialize depending on where I was at in my day without issues. The private rooms are reasonably quiet, and a great deal if you’re looking to have a private, clean space during your travels.

Great hostel! Friendly and helpful staff. Has a really nice kitchen and lounge. Great location and the hostel offers events such as bonfires and communal breakfasts. Would definitely recommend!

The hostel is a lovely place to stay when you’re in Colorado Springs area. They have wonder events and activities they host for guest. The crew are friendly and go above and beyond when they can. Trust me the visit here is worth it and they are affordable.

Decent place to stay
We really liked the feel of the hostel, there was games and really cute areas to hang outside in. There was a blizzard going on the first few nights we stayed, our room was freezing (the door wasn’t well insulated). We called and asked for more blankets, the attendants came right away with some as well as a space heater! They are so nice! The room was nice, but after the first two days they must have turned on the heat and it didn’t turn off all day or night and we were very warm. We called to ask if it could be turned down, and the assistant didn’t know how to do this. We thought we would crack the window but there was no screen which wasn’t very safe. The agreement we sign said no drugs (including pot), however outside the hostel and in our room we could smell it emanating from a room nearby and nothing was done about this. The bunk bed was very rickety, and the top bunk didn’t have a ladder so we put one mattress on the floor. The bathroom floor was a little sticky. While we were gone the attendants changed the blinds as they were broken and we didn’t even have to ask so that was cool too. The breakfast was mostly fruit bread and milk, no eggs but the kitchen was very nice. Overall I would stay again but probably in the summer.

Thank you for your nice review! We are so sorry about the heating situation. The furnace unfortunately quit working and needed to be repaired. Prior to it being repaired the thermostat was turned all the way up, so it's no wonder you were hot! I have instructed all of the staff now how to adjust the temperature. I also apologize about the smell of pot. It is unlikely that it came from one of our rooms as they all have ultra sensitive smoke detectors, but there is a marijuana grow facility next door and occasionally it smells very strongly of pot. I appreciate your thorough review and I am addressing all of the issues you brought. Please come back in the summer. We would love to host you again! and by then we should have eggs again.

Hello Mr. Sims, I am sorry to hear that you were cold while staying with us. For future notice, we do have portable heaters for guests to use! Even if it is the middle of the night you can call the emergency line and we will gladly bring you a heater! Hope to see you again :)

This hostel made all the difference in my travel experience! I am a travel health care professional and needed last-minute housing in Colorado Springs. I tried a few of the cheap hotels in the area and had awful experiences, they were dirty and smelly, and I didn't feel safe there as a single female. Colorado Adventure Hostel was not only cost-effective but clean and comfortable. I got a private room every time no problem, the staff was accommodating, helpful, and nice. They had all of the amenities I needed and more, they offer free bicycle rentals and have other options for affordable prices. There's a lovely patio area with plenty of seating and hammocks and a few yard games. There are two available communal cooking spaces and a microwave and minifridge in every room. The rooms are not fancy but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff was amazing! I'd recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in the Colorado Springs area!

Not staffed 24/7, late checkin fee
This place is not staffed 24/7, which upon 2nd look might've been on the hotels.com listing. You're charged a fee for "late" checkin past 9PM and it's not even possible to check in past midnight. This is so far removed from the standard in the US that hotels.com needs to add this as a big red banner above this listing and then again when checking out with a confirmation box that you're aware of the substandard hours of operation. Flights get delayed frequently, especially these days, and they want a fee for "late" checkin and you'd be SOL if arriving after midnight. Sure, my fault for not catching the small print. But does anyone read all the small print? And such deviations from the standard is not small print material but more of a warning that the customer should need to confirm multiple times before allowing the booking.

Staff is indeed on site 24/7, however to keep our rates among the most affordable in our area and still provide free bikes and other super cool amenities, we have limited front desk hours, BUT, in keeping with technology and the times, we do offer other options such as remote check-in.Our listing, as well as the confirmation email, clearly state that check-in begins at 5pm and our office closes at 9pm; however FREE remote check-in is offered for guests in private rooms. 48 hours prior to arrival a reminder email is sent that states our cancellation policy (so guests have time to cancel if our policies don't work with their travel plans) and check in hours. For guests in private rooms we are happy to offer a remote check-in for free or for 10 we will do an in person check-in with a tour of the property until 12:00am.Due to safety reasons, the only option for guests checking in to shared dorms, is an in person check-in (10 after 9pm). For dorms: we only do late check-ins until 12am because we have found it is disruptive to the other guests in the room who are trying to sleep.Upon checking your reservation details and notes, I see you rented a private room for 55/night, and you were given the remote check-in option. I have no inclination to raise the rates because it would be impractical and contrary to our mission to pay for the additional labor so that an occasional guest of a 15 room hostel can check-in all hours of the night. I agree that the OTA's should make certain property policies in larger, bolder print and have guests agree to them prior to booking (oh wait, I think they already do that last part), so please contact them to let them know your thoughts. We'll do the same and we'll also try to improve our pre-arrival communication even more so we don't have any more unhappy, uninformed guests. Happy travels!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating! Plenty of amenities including: free breakfast, lounge areas that have tvs, kitchen that you can do your own cooking and laundry facilities. The prices to stay a night or more can’t be beat!

If you like groovy hostels, this is your gig. Awesome creative hand painted murals everywhere, and a friendly hippie vibe is pervasive. Lots of great outdoor gathering spaces, including a backyard with a view of the mountains. It was easy to meet like-minded travelers from around the world in the variety of public hang out spots. I only wished That the continental breakfast started before 8 AM, as myself, and I assume many others would like to get on the road before eight. Thanks Mohamed!

Hostel in CO Springs
This is a charming oasis in an unexpected location. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of opportunities to chat with travelers. A staff member made us pancakes in the morning! Even the bunk beds were ridiculously comfortable.

Very friendly staff that made you feel absolutely welcome. The young man at the reception showed me around and explained things in detail. The room was basic, practical and clean. It served it's purpose very well. It even had a refrigerator and an A/C. Perfect !! There are common areas, like Kitchen for cooking, living room and outdoor relaxing area. When I travel, I like staying in Hostels, for I don't care for all that fancy stuff... All I need is honesty and a basic room to rest and that is what you get there. Very recommendable!!!!

My husband and I chose this hostel based on the mostly positive reviews, and we wanted to save a little $ on our tour of Colorado. We were at first a little nervous about the rundown area, but it really wasn't an issue. We were given a great tour of the facility and we found the room clean and quaint. Our biggest problem was the size of the bed. It's been years since we've slept together in a double bed; I thought we could do it, but it was not fun. But that wasn't the hostel's fault, really. Overall, the are many positives about this place: it was clean, it was quiet, and we felt safe.

Friendly hostel experience for my small family. We like to travel this way. It's more friendly, more easy to meet others from different walks of life, can cook and eat with community or not. Bedding was super clean; they have a nice process where they hand you a roll of a freshly washed blanket, sheets, and towels. Staff was super helpful guiding us towards local walks and hikes.

Great Experience
This is a great little place. I took my teenage daughter who was headed to Colorado Springs to work at the Broadmoor. We found a place friendly inviting and very clean. It’s really amazing place. It’s not a high-end hotel but it really is a great stop. Victoria was amazing and the international staff that she had working there was very cool. Just a great experience. The dogs were adorable!
