Great location, huge apartment, but problems
First, the apartment was great: three bedrooms, large dining room, and kitchen had almost everything you needed to cook. The doors all oddly had windows on them so if someone turned on the hallway light you would wake up.The problem was with Quokka Italia. I reached out to them via email, phone, what's app over a month before we arrived and I couldn't get through. Vbro even tried. I Googled them and found a Swiss phone number that worked. Then they were very responsive. They even provided us videos to help with entering the apartment, although we would have preferred the info earlier.When my brother arrived, we discovered the boiler was broken, so we would only have hot water for about 2-3 minutes. We had to boil hot water for our children's baths and wake up in the middle of the night several times to reset the boiler for heat Their repair guy came out but said he couldn't fix it until after we left. We asked for a discount, since one has to have heat and hit water and , of course, it's been three days since our request and we haven't heard from them again.
