We arrived an hour after reception closed at 5 pm . Too early to close for a start . The price paid was way too much for what we got and service . The barman just shrugged his shoulders when we needed assistance as reception was closed and we had to pick our key up from bar . Room fridge stunk , no pool towels could be provided , no remote for tv , no hot water , shower recess was filthy and under beds and behind furniture was filthy . When you have been travelling all day with kids you just want a hot shower and a tv that works and a clean room . I would like a refund

A great experience staying underground a clean room and comfortable bed and close to all activities. Only suggestion would be pool should be open later due to hot condition and after a long drive it would have been fantastic 😀

The rooms are extremely outdated and rundown. We booked the king suite and the room had a bad damp Oder and was infested with mosquitoes. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if they have other options. Just to add we stayed here 2 time's in a one week period in 2 different rooms and the 2nd room had mold all over the uncleaned bathroom. And even more mosquitoes than the first.

The desert cave hotel was a very run-down, empty, sad joint. Pool was unmaintained, underground exhibit was closed, restaurant was closed, service wasn’t friendly, room had rocks all over the furniture, bed and carpet. Lighting was also dull.

Everything was good. Hot day and what they say about having 50 air conditioned rooms isn’t exactly true. The underground rooms only have ventilation and a fan so if it’s 40 degrees outside you won’t be sleeping much even if you’re in one of these rooms. Other than that it’s a decent place to stay as long as it’s not sweltering hot.

The amenities were tired, but the place was clean. The pool needed a good clean. One tap in the bathroom needed a replacement washer and there was a significant leak on the floor from the basin water.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had an underground room and was incredibly quiet, i didn’t hear any noise including from the car park.
Spacious, but an odd layout.
Bathroom was partly updated with a new vanity, but the toilet and shower were older (tiny shower) but functional.

Old carpet. Smelly room. Bed sheets didn’t look clean and bed badly made.
Very expensive at $216/ night.
I have never paid that much and have stayed in many motels.
Room smelled about50 years old.
AC woke me up because it was very noisy.

Chose this facility for its restaurant dining option and very disappointing that this was closed and cafe option very limited.Reception staff very helpful in suggesting alternative off site dining option which was good.Facility a bit shabby and dead flies and cobwebs on window frames.

Our booking was for 3 nights. We had to ask for fresh towels, they told me no housekeeping is offered at all during our stay. No bin emptied, no new tea or coffee provided, no towels. A great bargain for 280.00 a night in a very ordinary cobweb infested room.
The guest laundry was filthy and disgusting, and after travelling for 2 weeks we needed that facility.
We were told the restaurant, bar and lower ground areas were closed due to unsafe roof. The next night a big private function was held in that same lower area.
Can't believe the low standard. Don't go.......
