“The check-in process was easy and all instructions were clear. Jonathan, the owner, was very responsive and easy to get a hold of if I had any questions. The place was cute, clean, and perfect for what I needed (a place to stay during my medical school rotation). As the review says, it is not ideal for taller guests as the roof slopes down in certain areas, but I found the place cozy.”

“Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!”

Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room. Perfect for a romantic getaway, we look forward to visiting again in the future.”
