Great house.
It is a shame that this house is managed by Vacasa. They do not honor veteran or military discounts. Altogether the house is lovely however, the customer service and nightly rates could have been much better.

Our short stay
It was nice overall, things to consider if it’s not summer there is not an additional bathroom downstairs :/ i mean con on…… the BBQ has seen better days and needs some new parts or to be replaced. The kitchen living room is a lot bigger than the pictures give them credit. We would stay again.

Nice place in a good location
The place was very clean. The pool was also clean and a nice place to kick back. The downstairs bathroom came in very handy for 6 old farts. Thanks for a great stay!

Beach rental
Nice comfortable stay . Unfortunately the pool isn't heated like it stated on listing. But you could purchase for $50 a day extra to heat the pool. That was inconvenient and a little upsetting. But the property was fine .

Beach Trip
We’ve stayed at this beach house before so when we decided to go back to Port A, we thought of no other place we’d rather stay than this house. We even got an exiting text that we could check in early!! Upon arriving we immediately noticed the strong cigarette smell. It was very overwhelming and gave my son a headache. Within the hour or checking in we received a text asking how our house was. We reported there was visible damage to the front stairs and the cigarette smell. They replied with, “Open the windows.” I was taken back as to the listing clearly said No Smoking. It was uncomfortable inside so we decided to take a dip in the pool. While swimming we realized the new home being built ‘next’ to our house. The word next is in quotations because the new house is basically on top of the one we were renting. Felt like you could reach out and touch the house next to you. With that being said, privacy is nonexistent. You can clearly see into our pool/backyard from the other property. Luckily we arrived on a Saturday and construction was not going on. Once Monday morning hit we were woken up by blaring music being played by the workers next door. I could only imagine if both houses were being rented at the same time, how disrupting it could be. In the room that my son slept in with bunk beds, the ceiling fan did not work and was missing a blade, the beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets were extremely thin. Unfortunately this may have been our last visit to this house.

Great house, great location!
Had a great stay at this house with my 2 yr old, husband, and a couple friends. House was very comfortable, pool was clean and cool. Overall we had an excellent stay and hope to come again. Only suggestion i have is regarding the space under the stairs where the pool toys and beach chairs were is in need of cleaning. The blender needs replacing, as well as two of the bottom bunk beds. None of this would stop us from returning. Thank you for the great stay!

Weekend Get-a-way!
We took a quick trip with our kids to get away from the daily stress of work and school finals. We had a blast! The pool was perfect, we cooked out and played. Rented a golf cart from Bron's Beach Cart. Even went down to the beach and walked around, took our son to the jetty to fish and went to the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center (this was a family favorite). Our kids are 18, 15 and 14. Over all a great weekend!

Weekend get-away
The construction on the adjacent property was a mood killer. The property itself was good for a weekend getaway with the kids. But the noise from construction next door was horrible. All day power tool frenzy on Saturday. And that was the only full day we had at the property.

Fantastic Stilt House
Great house with a pool. Plenty of room for everyone. Wonderful location. Quick walk to Alister and Ave G or Grab a Cart and head to the beach or to the docks. Kitchen could use some new frying pans and doesn’t have a dish washer, but overall this place is great. Unadvertised Hidden secret, large couch is a sleeper sofa, so this place could actually handle 10 people. We can’t wait to grab this place again…

Nice place
Nice place for a getaway. However they really need to take better care to provide adequate dishes and utensils. Also the place was spot cleaned only. Remotes didn’t have batteries, trash bin was still full of someone else’s trash. For the price they should not ask you to clean the place before you leave. Kinda the point in renting a vacation getaway. Other than that it was nice. I would stay again but still pointing out the little things that should be addressed.

Almost great
It was mostly clean. We found dirty socks in multiple places. I didn’t pay attention that there wasn’t a washing machine, but reread before we left so juts brought paper plates and it was fine. The pool was awesome! We had a great time!! Family 2 adults and 4 kids! I called when I couldn’t find something and was very quickly helped.

Fun family spot, just be sure you read the ENTIRE description!
Our family had fun here overall. It's super cute, bright and cheery. We really enjoyed having the pool to come back to in the evenings. The kids had fun hitting the pool first thing in the morning. Having the full bath outside was pretty neat. Since there were four of us, we sent the kids to the outside bathroom for showers :) We did enjoy grilling out and the outdoor fridge. The kitchen utensils/ supplies are in dire need of replacement, though. Also, unless you want to pay "island prices", I recommend that you bring your own trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent and dish soap. We only had one trash bag, one roll of towels and a teensy bottle of dish soap (even though there is no dishwasher). Unfortunately for me and my 6'3" husband, I missed the part about the master bedroom being only a full size bed. It would be nice to have a couple of drawers in the bedrooms to unpack a little. Also, actual curtains would be great because the sun shines straight on your eyeballs starting at 6:30 am. Honestly, though, if it weren't for the size of the master bed, we would totally go back!

Awful, pool was green, spent the whole time arguing with Turnkey, we will never be back.
Rented same property last year, it was great. This year pool green and unusable and basically ignored by Turnkey, said we were getting a refund, they lied, don't rent from these people, all our hard work and money down the drain!!! Happy Anniversary Anderson's getting an impossible situation rectified by the folks will not happen, next step BBB so No one else goes through this.

Best outdoor area with kids
We lived in the pool at this property during our stay! We would hit the beach, take advantage of the outdoor shower and toilet to get the sand off, then spend the rest of the day in the pool. We ate outside, grilled out, enjoyed the outdoor fridge, and the kids loved the toy-storage room! The bunk room in the house was great for the kids. My husband is 6’5 and the full bed in the “master” was smaller than we are used too, but the bed itself was comfortable enough that we slept ok. We would def rent this property again. We have 4 little daughters under the age of 8 and this property made it possible to enjoy our stay in Port A to the greatest potential.

Great Property and Location!
The property was great and so was the location however the bathroom downstairs did not flush regardless of how many times you plunged it. I think it’s just bad plumbing. And the air vent in the kitchen was blowing out insulation into our food so you can’t really use the island but besides that everything was great.

Really great house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and just what was advertised. Really great home for family and kids. One day the pool needed attention, made a call and it was tended too quickly. Which is expected in a salty sandy place. So not worried about it. We had a great time and will Be booking this property again. Centrally located on the island, quiet neighborhood. Besides us lol. Our time at the house was very fun and enjoyable.

Turnkey dropped the ball!
The property has the potential to be a 4/5 star property, however there were many things that left us with a bad taste in our mouth for Turnkey. We had to call them several times: Once for a clogged toilet which I attempted to plunge myself and raw sewage came out of the sink and got all over me. They tried telling us someone came but the raw sewage remained in the sink, so we aren't convinced. Multiple times regarding the cleanliness of the pool. As a pool owner who manages my own pool, I knew the pool needed chemicals(it was VERY cloudy) and it had sand all in it. Turnkey assured me they would send someone out the following morning(Tuesday) to vacuum but no one ever came. I called back and another person told me the pool gets cleaned on Wednesday, but of course it rained all day Wednesday, so no one came. Once for the grill. When we uncovered and opened the grill, half of the grill burner covers were completely rusted and rotted. For this, they refunded us $60. There was also mildew on the shower liner(such an easy thing to replace,)though no call was made for this. All and all, we enjoyed our stay because we spent so much time at the beach. If the property management gets their crap together, this place has potential to be a gem. The decor is bright and fun, the beds were comfy, and the outdoor area downstairs is a great outdoor space for the whole family. All of the things I've mentioned above are things that guest expect to be in good working condition when dropping hard earned money on a vacation As it stands, we will never rent from a place that uses Turnkey as a property management company again. Pool house in Port Aransas
The pool was nice after we cleaned it. There is no window coverings the few that were covered were super sheer curtains. No place to put your suitcases or your items that were in your suitcase suitcase but you only could set them on the bed that’s the only place you had to put them. The mattresses were real bad. But overall we had a good time.

Great place!
This cute beachy house was great for us. The pool is private and beautiful, and had lots of space for relaxing. My only wish was that it had a queen bed in the master. Other than that it was perfect. We’ll rent it again.

Spring Break trip with the family
We enjoyed our stay at the property and our trip to Port A. The house was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable. The cooking equipment and amenities were limited. We had one hand towel and one wash cloth. Would encourage anyone who is grilling out to make sure they have everything they need for food storage. The nearby grocery store was very convenient. Kids enjoyed the pool! Would return in summer months.

Wonderful home
We will definitely keep our eye out for this property the next time we visit Port A! It was perfect! The private pool was amazing with a drop down to the picnic table/grill, we were able to keep our infant away from the pool's edge. The sun deck on in the pool made easy work of a safe water play area for our 3 year old. Our one complaint would have to be the comfort of the beds but we have found you will rarely find soft/comfortable beds in a vacation rental, so we can't fault it on that!

Great location, Great pool
Our stay was nice. The only issue we had was there were some very damp towels put up and folded in the bathroom. The pool was excellent and the location was great. Would stay again.

Mostly good but ANTS!
We had an issue with ants the entire time we were there, primarily in the kitchen but all over. Other than that the stay was good.

Family Vacation
Location and house was great! Love the outdoor kitchen area and pool. Great for a family only needing one bathroom with lots of places to sleep in the bunk bed room.

Great vacation home with sweet pool
Updated beach house 1 mile from the beach. The pool is awesome for kids or relaxing, shallow area to 5 feet deep. Very nicely decorated. Fun times!

Great property!
We were very happy with all the amenities. The pool needed cleaning and they came right away. I would note there was a regular coffee pot and we only brought Kcups. One other issue is that the master bedroom had a full size bed so I slept in the bunk room with my children. Otherwise it was perfect for our family of 5.

Cozy and Comfortable Beach House
My family and I enjoyed each day at the beach house. The private pool was great! And all of our favorite restaurants were close by. We will definitely come back!
