Excellent, recommended.
Excellent all round experience. Only issue was shower water pressure in my top floor suite, but I was assured this is something being addressed. Staff very friendly and helpful, contact via WhatsApp prompt.

I really enjoyed this accommodation. It’s relatively close to everything that we want to do, a smart friendly environment, and clean. Laura is awesome! She promptly replied to all my email even at one occasion when it was late at night. She also provided us information about tours and gave us directions how to get around the city by bus. Excellent stay overall!

Hotel bien placé sur les 3 citée. Un bémol : la climatisation ne marche que lorsqu'on est à l'intérieur de l'appartement (donc compliqué pour ceux qui y sont allergiques) et appartement très chaud sans climatisation. Beaucoup de moustiques ...

Dear Deborah,We are very sorry to read that your stay at The Mike did not meet your expectations. You were assigned the room you booked which was a standard double room. If you wished to stay in the Suite with Private Terrace, you should have booked that particular room. Upon your arrival the upgrade was unfortunately not available due to the premium room being booked by other guests meanwhile.Upon your reservation as well as a few days prior to your arrival, we sent you information about our services, including our breakfast. Had you read the information prior, you would have had the chance and the time to consider if it meets your expectations. We serve light, but fresh and delicious breakfast in the room which is always well received by our guests. For future, we do recommend that you carefully read through the information sent by the hotel prior to your arrival which will help you set and clarify your expectations and avoid disappointment. In this case, we did not fail to deliver our service that we promise. Wishing you all the best!

I stayed for a week at the Mike hotel recently and chose it as friends were staying nearby. I was a bit apprehensive about the location when I first booked it however it turned out to be a fantastic place to spend a week as the grand harbour is just five minutes walk from the hotel and has shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, plus there is a bus stop nearby. There is a convenience store just up the road which is open late and has all of the essentials you need. It's also a short walk from the hotel to the Valetta ferry which we used a couple of times. We stayed in Suite 10 which has a terrace and separate living area and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and how quiet the area is at night hence we slept very well during our stay. The bathroom with it's rainforest shower was wonderful. Breakfast was served to the room each day and it was delicious and a great start to the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay; thank you for the tip to visit Mdina - it was a beautiful place. We used the buses to travel around Malta and it was easy to navigate our way around from here via Google Maps. Seeing other parts of Malta made us appreciate the location of this hotel even more as the island is quite busy and crowded but this area is quiet and peaceful. The hotel is in a residential area and some of the streets and buildings look dirty and run down, however upon travelling around the island we discovered that this is normal for Malta.

Very enjoyable stay at the Mike Hotel
Very clean and spacious room, and friendly staff. Very happy with service, including a gluten and lactose free breakfast for my wife.
