Beautiful location-exceeded my expectations. On the water, nice pool, really nice lobby with breakfast cafe opening at 6 AM. Exceptionally nice staff. Crackers restaurant, on the property, is fantastic with perfect outdoor seating on the water. I was traveling alone and tired after a day of activities so great to just walk steps to eat. Wait staff were very, very nice. Lodge was so close to kayaking and manatee swim locations. Room was very comfortable with plenty of towels and toiletries, microwave and fridge.

They are remodeling and its a little messy in places but you cant beat the location and the views of Kings Bay. The staff is wonderful!

There is no coffee in the rooms, which is unacceptable. The property is affiliated with a coffee shop in the lobby, so zero coffee in the rooms. Note the coffee shop in the lobby is a completely different building, two blocks from the room. Inconvenient at best to get dressed and take a stroll to find coffee. Unacceptable.

Very convenient location to all water sport operators and right on Kings Bay with restaurant next door for lunch or dinner, bar and water views. Nice pool. Good size room, clean and quiet.

This place was cute and clean. The coffee shop was great and you can actually rent boats or kayaks right there on the property. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we were in this area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Paddletail. It was perfect for us because we brought our jet skis to explore the area. Be aware there are extra fees to launch boats and park boats on site. The property had some construction while we were that but it didn’t really hinder our stay. It would be much nicer if the pool was heated. The location is wonderful because you can walk to the downtown and to Hunter Springs park to swim if you want to from the hotel. There are a lot of good restaurant options. Room was simple but clean. Overall, I would recommend this place. My only real complaint is the fact that they don’t provide in room coffee. You must buy coffee from the coffee shop in the lobby which was understaffed and very slow. It might make more sense to have a different vendor there…like a deli or pizza and provide in room coffee.

The Pattletail Waterfront Lounge was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that it was not very quiet. You could hear the guests above and next to you, but for the price in that area and time it was very acceptable.

This is a great hotel, directly right on the water. Kayaks are available. Manatee tours are booked right on site. Restaurant on premises. Walkable to downtown Crystal Lake. Clean, quiet rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay and took a sunset cruise. Very convenient location. The only thing was the bed frame was very noisy just sitting in it and turning over as it wasnt a traditional box spring it was almoat lime a rollaway bedframe. Mattress was decent. We will come back.

This resort was very fitting for our needs, they have their own boat launch and trailer parking for an additional fee. You can also leave your boat in the water at their dock which is very convenient if you are a boater/fisher. Our room was spotless and very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All staff were very attentive and helpful when needed, especially Deanna at the front desk! We will definitely be back!!

Very nice room that was quiet and spacious. Our room included a kitchenette which was great to have. We would have liked a coffee maker in the room. The only complaint was that there was a room deodorizer plugged in when we arrived and it had a VERY strong, overwhelming odor. Otherwise, we thought the room was great and would stay there again.
