Great house, nicely redone and updated. Amazing yard, wonderful docks and boathouse area. Great space with the bedrooms and tons of eating space for a large group as well as an amazing sunrise viewing area from the deck and huge windows. Quiet area, all around great. Only downside was the steepness of the driveway with the thick rocks and the steepness of the boat ramp. It was really difficult to get boats up the driveway. We ended up using the public boat launch at the end of our stay which was a short drive away.

Absolutely beautiful house and location. So quiet and private. Gorgeous sun rises. House nice - fully equipped. Only issues were lack of firewood, empty grill gas tank & contradicting info on WiFi and location of check in info. We arranged a delivery of firewood and took propane for exchange. Property manager said she would reimburse but never did.

Such a relaxing Christmas holiday with all my grown kids driving into a central location. They all loved the property and requested to book again next year. House was stocked with all essential items needed. Overall stay 10/10

The listing was completely accurate! It’s as beautiful as the pictures show! We only stayed 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. This was our family’s summer vacation and this was the perfect place for us. We had an issue during check in but both the property manager and owner acted quickly going above & beyond to make it right so we could enjoy our vacation! We highly recommend this property & Lake Martin. We will definitely be back!

We rented this property for our family to stay to celebrate our Auburn graduate. From my 76 yo mom to the 12 yo nephews, everyone had a great time and there was plenty of room to space out. From fishing on the boat dock to sitting by the fire pit at night, we had a lovely time. We will absolutely come back! The best part was it is doggy friendly and the pups loved the fenced space just for them!

Located 30 miles from Auburn campus and an absolutely beautiful view of the lake. Great firepit, newly decorated kitchen and easily sleeps 8. Highly recommend!

Beautifully renovated and comfortable home on a quiet portion of Lake Martin! Very clean and well organized living spaces made for a welcoming stay. We enjoyed the fact that pets were welcomed too!

The cabin is adorable and overall we enjoyed our stay. Location is great, home is cute, and we loved the views. The problem was with the complete lack of communication from the property manager. Calls and texts were unanswered over several days. The owners were helpful once involved. The house gets full sun yet there is no shade on the porch and no window treatments. We were there for 10 days leading up to July 4th and it was so hot my kids burned their feet just walking barefoot on the deck. The deck furniture is metal so we had to buy a tent, rugs and fans in addition to covering all furniture outside to use. Only one of the bedrooms (not the primary bedroom) has a closet. We didn't have a problem with the steepness of driveway - but it is a workout! Overall we had a great trip but it was more work then I intended!

A Wonderful house and location for us to enjoy Lake Martin. Being Dog friendly made it special. Spectacular view. Nice Air conditioning and amenities. Highly recommend for family get together.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the home was convenient and the boat dock was great. They also had a lily pad in the water that we were able to use. The home had everything we needed as far as space, kitchen conveniences, bathroom towels, etc. The only challenges we had were the driveway and the boat ramp on the property. We were hoping to launch our 23’ bay boat from the property, but the driveway and boat ramp were too steep. The parking area had a lot of river rocks on it which made it difficult to drive on and maneuver with the boat trailer. Having said that, there is a close public boat ramp that was easy quick to drive to where we were able to launch from. Overall, great home.

This beautiful home on Lake Martin was a delight. The views were incredible with wonderful full moons every night. The kitchen was excellent and was supplied with everything we needed and could have possibly wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we each had our own bathroom which was really nice. The grounds were impeccable and very dog friendly, even though our little dog didn't take up much space. We would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the lake as much as we do. I must say, the #1 reason I booked this cabin is because it fit our needs…but a very close #2 (maybe even #1 1/2) was the response to the ONE negative review this property received. We had 6 grown adults, one teenager, and DOGS. We never felt like there wasn’t enough space or amenities to meet our needs. We cooked the entire time, the kitchen was larger than we needed, the supplies were not in any shortage. Plenty of wine glasses, plates, and coffee cups to take care of us and the neighbors!!! The fire pit was delightful and they even provided wood. The house was clean, welcoming, and more than we hoped for. It was exactly the long weekend our family needed. They made everything easy, from check in to check out. Someone stated that the owners communication was non-existent. Honestly, they made everything so accessible, I cannot even imagine what you would need to ask! The one question I asked about an early check in was answered immediately and so was the response when I checked in. They really covered ALL bases in the ad, and on arrival. The space was so great for the dogs who are the true masters after all! Easy gates, doggy door, even bags to clean up after them. Thank you for sharing your home, we would love for everyone to have the experience we had. This space is too good not to share…the view, the house, the ease….you cannot put a price on coming together in a space that makes relaxing EASY. Happy New Year 2023, cheers!

This house on Lake Martin is absolutely the best VRBO home we have ever stayed in for vacation. My husband and I, along with my elderly mother and other family members stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. From the time we arrived we were in awe of this house. In the past we had a family home on Lake Martin and this home was a perfect substitute. The lake view is incredible and the house has been renovated perfectly. There is a large firepit that we enjoyed on a couple of cold nights and they provide a woodpile for your use! All of the beds were very comfortable according to our family and there is more than enough bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, kitchen cookware, utensils, salt, pepper, sugar, other spices as well as a rack of Keurig coffee pods so that you really don't need to bring much of anything! Even though we had brought some, they even provide doggy poop bags! Our 2 Golden Retrievers enjoyed the fenced in grassy side yard that was open to the side and front deck. the deck was closed off with a sliding gate so they couldn't escape. It was so convenient. The property manager, Summer was immediately accessible by text and the only problem we had was the login to the internet that had changed but she immediately solved the problem. We LOVED this house and highly recommend it and we hope to stay again soon.

Thank you for a wonderful visit! Your home is beautifully appointed, and you’ve thought of every detail. The dock, fire pit and landscaping are outstanding. The location couldn’t be better and is less than ten minutes by boat to the closest marina. On top of the excellent accommodations the lake did not disappoint. We were fortunate enough to watch two bald eagles soar by during our stay! Thank you for sharing your home. It provided a relaxing getaway! 5/5 stars

Beautiful home with perfect accommodations. This is an amazing get away. Very thoughtful touches throughout the home to make your stay so easy and enjoyable. The views from the back deck were just incredible each morning. Host was very quick to communicate before and during. If you can, bring a boat! Beautiful sunset view just around the corner and it’s perfect from the water. Loved the Lilly pad in the water - just the right touch for keeping cool while relaxing outside. Kitchen had everything you need - we cooked every meal. Plenty of towels for the bathroom so you’re not doing laundry 24/7. Note: bring your own beach towels; they dry perfectly in the sun on the back deck. The kids have asked me to book now for the same time next year they absolutely loved this and said it’s better than the beach!
