We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at the start of April for 5 nights. The staff were very helpful and obliging and when we requested a room change, it was no trouble. We had booked breakfast and there was plenty of choice - from continental to Swahili. Thank you Crowne Plaza for a lovely stay.

Business Trip to Dar es Salaam
The second stay at the Crowne Plaza in Dar es Salaam is always a pleasure. Good food and clean rooms, and friendly staff in the reception. The gym is ideal on the first floor, and the hotel is approximately 10km from the International Airport.

The place to stay in Dar Es Salaam Central
This is always my nr 1 place to stay in Dar Es Salaam when I go there for business. Rooms are comfortable, great breakfast, excellent location. Nothing to complain about and they also have 24hour check in, if your flight arrive at an unusual time.

Het hotel is een oase van rust en comfort op een hectische locatie. Het is praktisch nieuw en er is gebruik gemaakt van kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen. De inrichting is strak en rustgevend. De badkamer is heerlijk, de koffie- en theefaciliteiten op de kamer en de flesjes water iedere dag heel fijn. En daarbij heel vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Kortom, een heerlijk hotel dat ik iedereen zou aanraden.

This is a fairly new property so clean and well planned. However staff are not experienced - food took over an hour and then incomplete, despite hotel being almost empty.

Great option for Dar Es Salaam
I really enjoyed my stay at City Lodge and will stay here again on future business trips. Nice and clean rooms with everything you need. Good breakfast, limited dinner options but good. I asked them to pick me up at the airport, overall a very good experience

The staff worked very well as a most likely reduced-sized team during these very difficult times with COVID. They all made me feel very much at home. When coming to Dar again, I will stay here, hopefully during better economic times for them.

the Property was fine neat and clean the few staff that were around were friendly and helpful but service was slow due to low staffing. charging 20 $ per person for breakfast is ridiculous !!!!

This property is immaculate and very clean! The warmth of the staff made it easy to be away from home and were super helpful! I would highly recommend City Lodge if you are planning to stay in Dar es Salaam.
