A guest was in this unit for a couple of months and needed to add a week. I said OK but before I blocked the calendar for the extra nights I got this reservation. Within couple hours I called an offered a full refund or offered a stay in another unit. All of our units are clean and nice. When any of us book a place we want the place we saw in the photos. We would have both been better off with the refund.

I love staying in historic buildings, especially turn of the century ones. The Floridian was remodeled with beautiful wood floors, new appliances and bath but we left the Victorian high ceilings and lighting intact as well as the double pained windows.

I'm so glad you found Barkley Square- I love taking my granddog there when she is in town. We make it easy to bring your pets with you as we appreciate how much they mean to you. Thank you for staying with us.

The Marigold is our baby and we love to share her with guests. We have dressed her up with loving care to provide an experience to remember. Please take a selfie with your stained glass "Butterfly Wings On" in our butterfly garden. Deland is actively involved in an effort to rebuild the migratory Monarch population and the Marigold is doing its part.

oh Wow what a sweet reason to stay at the Marigold. Father Tom from St Peters used to live at the Marigold before he got transferred to Chicago and both of our kids (grown now) went there.

Deland is a great place to visit and stay awhile. You are close to everything from Nascar races to Christmas Boat Parades but with a laid back vibe. We consistantly get the Best Small Town award for our awesome downtown and just recently Deland was awarded the title of Monarch City as we built gardens to help strengthen the migratory butterflies habitats. I hope you took a selfie with your wings on in front of the stained glass Monarch Butterfly mounted on the outside wall at the Marigold in our butterfly garden.

We love sitting on the porch, such a great place to relax. Sometimes I imagine other folks sitting on the same porch during the past 100 years and all of the wonderful conversations. Deland is indeed a beautiful town and the Marigold is ideally situated to enjoy it.
